We have one of these. Run it with the intake inside and it will keep the inside temp even cooler than when intaking air from the outside. A unit this small doesn’t create enough power vacuum to pull in outside air through cracks in the structure to compromise the inside air temp inside, and it will work less hard just recycling the already cooled inside air than it will trying to cool the hot air from outside.
Found it. Another good one. Ty. Does this have a thermostat where it reaches a temperature and shuts off? Doesn't sound like it has it, so it would run all night unless I put on some kind of timer? And how loud would you say it is, i guess the noise is mostly the fan?
Hi, I am looking at one of these. Would you recommend this now that you’ve had it for awhile? $1,000 is a lot if it’s not worth it. I appreciate all you do and prayers for your family ❤
Hey Teresa, if you mainly just want to cool yourself down by aiming it at you this works great. If you want to cool a small space really well I’d recommend looking into the new ecoflow wave 2 that will be out soon
Have you tried putting the Intake valve in the car with you so that its sucking the cooled air, like recycling it. Instead of the outtake being so close to the Intake as its sucking the hot outside air and a bit of the hot exhaust it will be sucking the already cooled air. I imagine it would take less power and get it cooler.. but I dont know, just leave a lil crack in window for fresh air
If you do that hot humid air from outside will automatically be sucked in through the cracks. Just look up why 2 hose air conditioners are better than one
😂😂 you definitely don’t need this to camp, but it is a nice luxury. A large shop fan on low setting in the van connected to a decent size power station works amazing at keeping cool
This is the best portable air conditioner, not biggest and baddest air conditioner. Anything bigger isn’t this level of portable. The ecoflow wave is the next step up in btu size but far less portable
Works perfect for me. It keeps me chill in my tent when it’s warm.

No thermostat, but you can adjust the level of cooling coming out. It’s just the sound of the van, but very relaxing

Great video!!
Great review
I’d love to have one for my minivan but they gotta get the price down. Don’t need the battery.
It’s a spot cooler .Not big enough to Cool that space .Buy the Ecoflow wave
It kept me comfortable, but I already sold it and yeah I’m getting the wave 2
i have just realized that I am too poor to camp

We want to see how cold u can get your van 12 hours of running not opening the van
After a few hours it doesn’t seem to get colder no matter how long you run it. Hits its base cold and then just keeps it there
The one thing that the Mark 2 is missing is the ability for it to be charged thru solar panels.
Yes they do, you can purchase their solar panel on their website.
I won't agree that it is the best, that Mark 2 only has about 2300BTUs other portable airconditioners are more powerful.

Slightly complicated
You just press the power button, set your cooling temperature and turn fan speed.
