Yes it is resonator and when you cut it off it would be very loud
'Surprising you still have the donut spare, that's the 1st "mod" I did. The front & rear recovery shackles should match as much as possible, Rough Country right?. We're still waiting on your RCI front skid plate mod, it must be a video lag-time thing.

Ok quick question when you accelerate do you want the sound of a “pissed off weed-wacker”? If not leave the resonator and cut 6” behind it put a turn down tip on and you are good.
Lights I used the “cheap” little LEDs from Walmart on both my Tacoma and my Gladiator they worked fine. We had one go out on your brides jeep but it was easily replaced. They worked fine. Have a question is the fake looking grill below the headlights I fact fake? If you pop the fender liner and access them from the rear that could also work.

Yup, that grill work is fake. I believe they pop off.
Don’t be cheap and buy the TRDPro grill!
I'd cut the exhaust just aft of the resonator. It is there for a reason whether we agree with it or nyet. It may be a back pressure issue, which is important with the turbo. I like the idea of the mini-light on top of the grille

You're right, that exhaust tip is kinda ugly. I think it would look better if it just turned down. Then it wouldn't be visible.
I have a question...why are you interested in putting recovery hooks all over your truck when 1) it's 2WD and 2) you don't take it off road? is it just to make it look more aggressive as something it will never be used for? seems like a waste especially when we all know you'll be trading this thing in within a year lol.
