I don't think you could find many people who didn't love Stevie in the '80s. Between Fleetwood Mac and her solo career, she was on fire for quite a while. To me she's the greatest female pop/rock singer of all time. I love her rasp, her emotion, her imaginative lyrics, makes me glad I was growing up in the 70s/80s.
I saw Stevie Nick's the first time in 1984 for my 20th birthday. Very emotional performer, soulful. Humble too. Total class. She's a legend. Love Fleetwood Mac too.
Stevie is one of the greatest singers ever. She was inducted twice into the Hall of Fame. Once with FL. Mac the other as a solo artist. You need to check out her 1976 performance of Rhiannon on Midnight Special. She was on 🔥🔥 FIRE! Also Dreams is very good. Big fan of her. Best success on yr channel
Also, if you haven't listened to Heart, you're missing out. Crazy on You, live version in the 70's. Begins with an acoustic solo by one of the sisters followed by pure vocals from the other sister.
I grew up watching all these artists. They seemed to be a bit more humble than the artist of today. Plus there was no autotune back then when they were playing their instruments. The singing was from the heart.
I remember when this came out. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. Music was much different back then. We didn't have this cookie cutter auto tuned pop music. The artists were truly talented with no in ears and having to keep in time with the drummer.
Stevie Nicks is awesome with or without Fleetwood Mac. The album "Rumors" by Fleetwood Mac is in my top 5 albums of all time. The song "Dreams" is my favorite.
You should check out her song “Stand Back” which she wrote after listening to “Little Red Corvette” by Prince. When she called him up he came over and laid down the synthesizer tracks for the song in about two hours.
Simply the most Beautiful woman I have ever seen and I am nearly 60. Not gay, but we were all blindsided by her beauty, male and female. I wanted to look like her So badly, lol
She is the queen of the stage. I've seen her three times solo and with Fleetwood Mac her voice never changes it's always perfect. Only woman to go in the Hall of Fame twice Fleetwood Mac and solo. Little known fact the girl singing in the blue behind her is her little sister.
Stevie nicks was a great song writer she wrote this song and, most of the songs done by Fleetwood Mac which she was the lead singer for. And, she also had a great solo career.
I'm an old geezer who has been following music since the 60s and attending shows since the 70s. There were artists I would drive all over Southern California to see and take occasional road trips. Some of the less commercial artists I would get to interact with but, you're right, the big artists you only knew from reading the music press. There was some mystery. Now as an oldster, I am a massive massive fan of a younger artist, Christina Perri, who shares so much on social media. Triumphs, tragedies, her mental health journey. And my wife and I did get a chance to meet her last year. As for Stevie, part of the shows back in the day was seeing all the girls dressed up like her, with the shawls and boots etc. Same with Pat Benatar and her outfits.
It’s was a great era for raw music. No phony auto tone or computer drive beats. You either had it or you didn’t. Stevie Nicks is a legend that any new learning musician should take notes from.
She is rock. Her stage act is passion and intensity. Check out 'Silver Springs' from the Dance--as middled-aged singer--the energy between her and her ex is electric. She is currently on tour--in her 70s--and this is still a show stopper of a song.
The first time I saw Stevie Nicks was in 1976 with Fleetwood Mac. I was on the edge of seventeen ( albeit the trailing edge) and Stevie was twenty seven but I fell in love 😍 I’ve obviously been a huge fan ever since. Might I suggest another fabulous female vocalist? Her name is Beth Hart, and in my humble opinion is the present day Queen Of The Blues. She has an extensive catalog of original songs and has worked with some of the greatest guitarists of all time like Jeff Beck and Joe Bonomasa. Please give her a listen, I think you’ll agree. ❤️✌🏼😎
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, both from College of San Mateo, south of San Francisco (my hometown!), joined Fleetwood Mac. Their entry put the band into popularity and hall of fame status. Sister of Stevie is 1 of the backing singers. Stevie was so good in this that Beyonce asked her permission to sample it. Suggested next Stevie Nicks: Stand Back.
The drummer, Mic Fleetwood, is driving this tune to the max! He is employing such rock solid rhythms! Wow! The guitarist, Lindsey Buckingham, is one of the most underrated guitarist (along with Terry Kath of chicago) of all time. What an Amazing performance. RHIANON (live) is another rocker!! Thank you for sharing your response!
One nice thing about Stevie was that though she was a big star, she didn't have to always be the star. Take this song for example: ua-cam.com/video/xVUtpUdY3Uo/v-deo.html
Before you watch any other Video or Song You always should see the very first performance of “Stevie Nicks” I was a kid and every weekend we’d get our sleeping bags & snacks Growing up with this music, how were we to know we watched “Rock History” in the making Anyways, The Midnight Special Live in 1976 Song - Rhiannon That night “Fleetwood Mac” introduced their new “Music Genre” And Stevie Nicks with Lindsey Buckingham Stevie Nicks let’s it rip at the end That “Legendary Performance” aided in the next Rock Revolution Something to watch yes, ok! 😊✌️🎶🌸
Stevie Nicks was a super star and moreso a real superstar.Thata the difference from todays celebs or performers.there is no comparison .songs and stars who will live forever and todays ,who dissapear in a flash .rightly so.tallent and no tallent.
Destiny's Child used this in their smash hit "Bootylicious". They even had Stevie Nicks in their official video. So in a way Stevie Nicks has had a double hit with this. She is also the only woman to be inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame twice, her solo career and with Fleetwood Mac.
Roy Britton of the East Street Band is playing piano….this live performance was around 1979 when Bruce Springsteen was in breech of his contract with his former music label…so he was forced to stay unproductive from 1976-1979….until The Darkness album was produced in 1980…..that’s why there was a five year gap between the Born To Run album and Darkness album…..but he was able to perform live shows…..like the No Nukes concert in 1978…..other band mates like Clarence Clemons….RIP……were able to make albums if they wanted….Max Weinberg played drums on David Letterman talk show
Awww, yes the 80’s, Aquanet, and big hair. Do enjoy Nicks with and without Fleetwood Mac. If looking for a raspy rocker, might look at Melody Cristea of Liliac, “Dear Father” will get you idea of her vocals.
Schell. If you want female rockers look no further than the Pretenders. Chrissie Hynde epitomizes what it takes to own the show. Her band has survived heartbreaking loss and continued to remain a force of nature. Several members have come and gone. But her determination not to be relegated to tribute band status gave her a path forward. Martin Chambers, her drummer for much of their history stands by her to both honor and continue the work that defines her talent. Other notable women to follow are: Stevie Nicks with her band Fleetwood Mac performing, RHIANNON live on the Midnight Special. Joan Jett- Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh, YEAH) the official video. The Eurythmics- WOULD I LIE TO YOU , I NEED A MAN, AND MISSIONARY MAN. That should be enough to get you started. Love your channel. And love watching your reactions. Keep going.
Im a metal head shes my number 1 female singer shes also a witch need do do YOU CAN TALK TO ME VIDEO AND ITS BY STEVIE NICKS AND CAN DO Rhianna BY THEM IS A GOOD ONE
Ppl who grew up in this time get so mad when we hear disco underpinnings in classic rock but it’s there! That disco vs rock divide is stupid they’re all babies of the same music (60s Motown, the beetles, etc)
She had gone home to her uncles funeral and she heard John Lennon had been killed. The song is about. She had seen John Lennon in concert when he was 17.
I've just watched Metallica with Miley Cyrus on Howard Stern's show performing 'nothing else matters'. It's quite brilliant.... But jeeez ..Miley is starting to sound like Stevie a little.. Obviously not a bad thing, nobody can touch Stevie in goddess mode like she is here. But I urge anyone to give that performance a few minutes of your time, she holds her own with my guys Metallica..😎🤘
I saw Stevie back in 2001, she's so tiny in person, but her voice, you would never think came from a person so small... And she owns that stage...
With “Rhiannon” Stevie stole my heart forever.🌹
Stevie Nicks makes all the clothes that she wears to do performances she was one of my favorite female singers.
I like to see her when she be marching she so beautiful
I love Stevie and damn it, she loves me! I wish! 🤣
I saw Stevie Nick's the first time in 1984 for my 20th birthday. Very emotional performer, soulful. Humble too. Total class. She's a legend. Love Fleetwood Mac too.

You need to check out her 1976 performance of Rhiannon on Midnight Special. She was on 🔥🔥 FIRE! Also Dreams is very good. Big fan of her. Best success on yr channel
If you can remember the intense energy you could barely contain as you closed on your 17th birthday, you know what you're feeling here.
Also, if you haven't listened to Heart, you're missing out. Crazy on You, live version in the 70's. Begins with an acoustic solo by one of the sisters followed by pure vocals from the other sister.
One of the GIANTS...ICONIC! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Stevie Nicks, her and Linda Ronstand sp...it don’t get better!
I grew up watching all these artists. They seemed to be a bit more humble than the artist of today. Plus there was no autotune back then when they were playing their instruments. The singing was from the heart.

No in-ears but they had floor monitors
So heart-warming to see young girls discovering the world of Stevie;) Her song 'Sara' official video with her band Fleetwood Mac is fire!
Stevie puts her heart and soul into every song she sings
I had the pleasure of seeing her by herself and with Fleetwood Mac what a voice always be a fan love your reactions by the way peace out!
Stevie Nicks is awesome with or without Fleetwood Mac. The album "Rumors" by Fleetwood Mac is in my top 5 albums of all time. The song "Dreams" is my favorite.
She give me goosebumps with her vocal performance and a great song .
STEVIE NICKS 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💝
Love her and the band Fleetwood mac. You should check out her song "Riannon"
You should check out her song “Stand Back” which she wrote after listening to “Little Red Corvette” by Prince. When she called him up he came over and laid down the synthesizer tracks for the song in about two hours.
She was amazing 50 years ago and still performing today. I'm in love with Stevie. She doesn't have a bad song. Check it out.
Stevie has the most amazing singing voice, ever.
And she kept those same two backing vocalists, her entire solo career. That's loyalty.
No disco here. Pure ROCK by a female Rock legend!
Yeah 😆😆😆 i laughed when Schnell said the word dico
Simply the most Beautiful woman I have ever seen and I am nearly 60. Not gay, but we were all blindsided by her beauty, male and female. I wanted to look like her So badly, lol
The connection was between the star and fans. They were not above us, they were one of us.
her 1st performance with fleetwood mac.......view 1976 midnight special version of Gold Dust Woman........she shows everything she has
In a world of Kardashians, be a Stevie Nicks!
She is the queen of the stage. I've seen her three times solo and with Fleetwood Mac her voice never changes it's always perfect. Only woman to go in the Hall of Fame twice Fleetwood Mac and solo. Little known fact the girl singing in the blue behind her is her little sister.
thanks for the info on the back up singer. Didn't know that.
Stevie only has a brother. That is her sister-in-law. 👍🏼🕊️🎩
Fleetwood mac rhiannon LIVE 76' is a must
This song is fantastic, the vocals are stellar....but, give it up for this band....OMG.
That era was a fantastic time to live in ,great music, easy living, and on and on and on
🔥💞❤️❤️ I will see Stevie may 12.2023
Watch her sing Rihannon on Midnight Special
Your comment reflecting about singers and music in general today was clever. 10:56
So ace tune and the entire band including the backing singers are having a BALL which makes this live version extra special.
5' 1" of pure awesome !!
Do " Stand Back" if you haven't yet..
It’s was a great era for raw music. No phony auto tone or computer drive beats. You either had it or you didn’t. Stevie Nicks is a legend that any new learning musician should take notes from.

You should watch the whole concert very, absolutely brilliant....Stevie at her brilliant best
The first time I saw Stevie Nicks was in 1976 with Fleetwood Mac. I was on the edge of seventeen ( albeit the trailing edge) and Stevie was twenty seven but I fell in love 😍
I’ve obviously been a huge fan ever since.

❤️✌🏼😎
I had such a crush on Stevie Nicks back in "da day." haha.
I'm sure someone has informed you that Stevie Nicks is the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac.
I love Stevie Nicks she is a goddess of music
Love Stevie! Been listening to her when they came out in the 70's. Love Fleetwood Mac! You need to listen to Dreams and Rhianna. Awesome group!!! ❤
Try Susan Tedeshi or Samantha Fish for some great Female Rock!!
Wrong.... Stevie has a brother, Chris, no sister. The back-up singer is his former wife, Stevie's former sister-in-law, Lori Perry-Nicks.
First woman ever to be inducted into the rock and roll Hall of Fame, twice
*Notice Stevie's sister singing as well...*
Stevie was one of my first crushes
Glad to see someone review some female fronted bands-not many of these reaction channels do that. Keep it up!
One nice thing about Stevie was that though she was a big star, she didn't have to always be the star. Take this song for example: ua-cam.com/video/xVUtpUdY3Uo/v-deo.html
Yes!!! Stevie is amazing
Before you watch any other Video or Song
You always should see the very first performance of “Stevie Nicks”
I was a kid and every weekend we’d get our sleeping bags & snacks
Growing up with this music, how were we to know we watched “Rock History” in the making
Anyways,
The Midnight Special Live in 1976
Song - Rhiannon
That night “Fleetwood Mac” introduced their new “Music Genre”
And Stevie Nicks with Lindsey Buckingham
Stevie Nicks let’s it rip at the end
That “Legendary Performance” aided in the next Rock Revolution
Something to watch yes, ok! 😊✌️🎶🌸
The queen

Hi Schnell , amazing as always 👍👍👍❤
Saw them in concert twice in the 70's
Amazing song, amazing singer.
Love Stevie Knicks. 🤘😎🔥
Stevie's best song in my humble opinion is "Gypsy"
Yep her time with Fleetwood mac comes to mind. Hmmm unique voice indeed.
This was good but she was much better when she sang with the band Fleetwood Mac Check her out on the Rumors Albumwhen she was young
The best
Dude, this isn't the studio version, this is live, that's how good she is
STEVIE!!!!!
Where has this lady been living under a rock?
Stevie is probably the most underrated singer in Europe….
Awww, yes the 80’s, Aquanet, and big hair. Do enjoy Nicks with and without Fleetwood Mac.
If looking for a raspy rocker, might look at Melody Cristea of Liliac, “Dear Father” will get you idea of her vocals.
Chillin!? She’s on about a half ounce of the devils dandruff 😤🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You" would be another fun one ;-)
Trying to listen to the original studio version first and then after that a reaction to a live performance.

Joan Jett- Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh, YEAH) the official video.
The Eurythmics- WOULD I LIE TO YOU ,
I NEED A MAN, AND MISSIONARY MAN.
That should be enough to get you started. Love your channel. And love watching your reactions. Keep going.

mic fleetwood is on drums. great underrated drummer for a person that started a huge band in the 60s-into 70s.
Not mick Fleetwood on drums at this concert,
check out the meaning behind the song . it takes on a whole new neaning
Stevie's unmistakable, don't know how you could hear this and not know who is doing the singing (if you're familiar with Stevie, of course).

ua-cam.com/video/zuTzAha1t80/v-deo.html
She goes OFF 🔥💃🔥💃🔥
React to rhiannon live
For some more 80's hits covered by Gigi De Lana "Through The Fire/ Piano In The Dark", you'll love it!
Seriously I don’t understand how anyone could not have ever listened to Stevie Nicks. I doubt that somehow.
Ppl who grew up in this time get so mad when we hear disco underpinnings in classic rock but it’s there! That disco vs rock divide is stupid they’re all babies of the same music (60s Motown, the beetles, etc)
🔥🔥🔥
Chrissy Hynde-The Pretenders
Contemporary of Stevie /Fleetwood Mac
Try
Brass In Pocket
She had gone home to her uncles funeral and she heard John Lennon had been killed. The song is about. She had seen John Lennon in concert when he was 17.
This would be perfect for a 80s female gang movie
I think you would like her song Gold and Braid from the same concert, check it out
ua-cam.com/video/7RKYlihC5k4/v-deo.html
Angelina Jordan - Everytime we say goodbye
If you're looking for inspiration, try out Kate Bush. This Woman's Work is one of her finest pieces, alongside Running Up That Hill.
Have you heard Fleetwood Mack?
Fleetwood Mac anything from the timers album anything live
I've just watched Metallica with Miley Cyrus on Howard Stern's show performing 'nothing else matters'.
It's quite brilliant....

بسیار عالی
