Stevie Nicks is one of those rare iconic voices that come around once in a blue moon. Glad to see you enjoying the classics! Because this new stuff with auto-tune ain't even close! 👍👍Thanks for the video cutie! 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋🦊🦊🦊
So nice to see people listening to Stevie and appreciating her! She’s hands down my favorite musician. This song in particular got me through the hardest year of my life. Stevie is definitely something special. The line that says “In a flood of tears that no one really ever heard fall at all”, man that hits me deep. Stevie has a way of writing her lyrics so you can relate even if the song isn’t about your specific circumstances. What a legend
Though the video is blocked (I've seen it numerous times) , I can tell you about what type of musical respect Stevie got from other musicians around 1981 when this was filmed . Her band is filled with some of the top L.A. session musicians from that era , Waddy Wachel (Guitar) , Russ Kunkel (Drums) Bob Glaub (Bass) with Benmont Tench of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers & Roy Bittan from Bruce Springsteen's E street band on Keyboards . That is a loaded lineup !
Love your reaction. This song came to be from the grief of losing her uncle John to cancer and the murder of John Lennon in the same week of her uncle's passing.
Why do they block these videos? getting a new generation into these old bands music will make you money,It is very dumb and shortsighted of the record companies to hide them from the public, you guys should be subsidizing these reactors for advertising and promoting your songs!
Maybe it was hauntingly familiar. See what I did there? That’s a “quote,” or maybe a “sample.” Stevie played on Bootylicious, it’s a borrowing. Learn the difference.
@@bigchunkybubbles It was stolen and Stevie Nicks wasn’t happy. She made destiny’s child do the video again. This time with herself in it. Plus made them ad her name to the writing credits.
@@shspurs1342 was litigated? Because Stevie thinking it was stolen doesn’t make it stolen. That’s not how IP works and sampling is part of the entire history of music. I mean, Renaissance composers based new works off of old ones all the time. Even if they gave Stevie credit to avoid a lawsuit still doesn’t make it evidence of theft.
@@bigchunkybubbles They obviously didn’t want a court channel from her. So they did what they did. Anyway the music was clearly ripped off. They knew they would lose.
No other female singer captures that rockstar quality like Stevie Nicks. The voice. The tude. The swag.
Not to take anything away from any female rock singers today but none of them can touch Stevie. Stevie Nicks is a rock legend.
There were few in that time that can not be touched today. Stevie, Pat Benatar, Grace Slick, Carly Simon, and of course Janis!
@@Rick-or2kq Don't forget Joni. Grace was before Stevie.
@@Lovejazz01ahh.. Stevie and the Heart girls, two of my favorites and the most iconic of the rock world FOR A REASON 🤘
May I also add Martha Davis and Annie Lennox ❤
The only female rock singer I like right now is Rhian Tessdale from Wet Leg. But she is no Stevie Nicks. Stevie is in her own league. Male or female
Stevie Nicks is actually in music video for Destiny’s Child Bootylious…She’s in the beginning of the video playing this beat on the guitar…

Yep- auto-tune wasn't around, but even now they don't auto tune her.
Stevie is a treasure

Hey Ashley, I saw Fleetwood Mac and Stevie solo live over 50 times since I was 15 in 1979. She’s on tour right now at 75 years old 😍 great reaction
You and I are the same age. I would give my right arm to see her one more time, before she retires......
I saw Stevie in my city in the summer of 1983 when she did a solo tour. Her father introduced her onto the stage.
Stevie Nicks has co-writing credit for "Bootylicious" and appears in the video with Beyonce and the girls.
One of my favorites
❤❤❤❤❤
Listen to Stevie doing Silver Springs She will blow you away
I love that shirt.
You need to check out the "Chicago Live version" of this song. It
will rock your socks off!!!!
The Nightbird. Stevie put the stank on this one.
Cool. Something new! 😊
You are definitely not crazy, Stevie is even in the “Bootylicious” video with Destiny’s Child
You should do a reaction video to The Moody Blues: Nights in White Satin. Long version with the poem Late Lament at the end.
Check out Chrissie Hynde's [The Pretenders] "Mystery Achievement" and "Talk Of The Town" along with Heart' "Alone"
greetings girl from Uruguay, good video❤😊

Are you mental ?
Writing a song about seducing a 17 year old guy seems an odd tribute to a dead uncle. Do you have a source on that one

I ❤ chocolate chick's 🤗
HOW About some keith washington believe that is the name of the song check it out.
I think it's hilarious.. you started out thinking she sounded like someone new.. Everyone new sounds like someone old.. lol
It's how these kids think. They have zero understanding of basic chronology and anything older than 5 minutes ago is" like, weird , bruh
It shouldn’t have reminded her off anything. I.E. “Stolen”

Do you see why boomers and gen x laugh at younger than 40s and their fake intensity, auto tune, and up in da club depth
This version isn’t that great . Should’ve played the original???This is a concert ?
Yeah Destiny's child sampled it. Lots of rock has been sampled. Diddy still paying Sting
