I like a laptop for the portability. I'd suggest using a cooling pad and try getting a solid state drive. Less moving parts = less chance of failure. I'd use a desktop if I had a home studio.... One day
I glad he told the truth, higher quality and lower price. Also, easy to upgrade and more bandwidth. A laptop is okay if you going over 800 and you got a ryzen/i5 with 8gb of ram.
It all depends on the person. I've helped created numerous laptop/desktop builds. Your LARGEST factor is your budget. After that then a comparable list can be created to suit your needs. After that the software tuning, and testing the the next biggest factor.

Wouldn't mind having either one,but one thing you can do with a laptop is take it with you on the road an a desktop is like doing homework at home because it can only be done at home.
Am i the only One who feels that gaming is kinda a bad thing Combined with music Production? I mean when you are at your Computer where also all your Games are it "can" be very distracting. What is your guys opinion about that?
