IMO, BVS version is Batman perfection. It's the neck profile and the brow which really lends that intimidating factor.
It's very simple. The bvs is just a live action Frank Miller Bats
BVS man, all the way, Frank Miller style beefer look, & the JL looks like a scared cat, I do agree with everyone that the JL figure does have better paint apps & textures because of course it’s a newer figure but BVS figure & suit all the way, I even got a 1:1 suit made because of how much I loved it
I prefer the BvS suit but I sold the figure when I got the Justice League, I prefer the BvS suit but prefer the Justice League figure if that makes sense.
Makes sense newer figure better paint apps & techniques, but there’s just something about the brute look of the BVS one that I gravitate towards to, I prefer BVS all the way figure & suit
Yeah the Justice League suit one really brings out Affleck's head while the BvS one provides continuity to the head and the shoulder muscles if that makes sense
Hot toys is re-releasing the Dark Knight Batman. I’m hoping they do the same with the BVS. Missed out on him. Got the JL one but yeah...something about the BVS beefiness just looks way cooler to me.
I prefer the BvS too. Hands down, I passed on the JL Bats and ever since the 1st image appeared online I knew I wasn't gonna get it.
BVS Batman takes the cane for me. Love the cowl and the rugged simplicity of the outfit!
Just two things made me decide for the BvS version, the bat logo in the chest and the cowl, in the BvS bat logo is thicker when in the JL looks painted and the cowl is way better in the BvS

I agonized over this decision. To me your point is spot on. Frank Miller's Dark Knight is a beefy bruiser and BVS just nails that.
I already had the Tactical from JL so I don't see the need for two "regular" suits. I also like the raised texture of the Bat emblem on the BVS vs the JL's seems painted on.
Initially I preferred the defined neck on the JL but the more scenes I watch, the thick "no neck" look further sells the Bruiser image.

Who made that custom cape on the BvS figure? That looks proper.
For me there is no contest. BvS looks much more intimidating and traditional. It makes Batman look like the gargoyles (almost demonic) that he often perches on. The menace in the cowl, the bulk in the neck and body. I appreciate its simpicity too - I am not a fan of the extra "noise" lines and patterns on superhero outfits. The JL looks like someone in an expensive cosplay costume and doesn't look menacing at all to me. The only thing I like more on the JL piece is the paint apps, though this video makes the faceplates on the BvS look worse than what they look in hand, they are still very detailed and lifelike, and are not so shiny/reflective.
Knightmare Batman is by far my favorite.

The BvS version is the best bat suit and will remain the best bat suit in my opinion. I hope they go back to that design in future movies with probably slight differences. He looks beast and intimidating. That's why I love going back and rewatching BvS a lot.
Both figures are solid and each one brings something different to the table so to speak. However, I prefer the Justice League Batman version. It presents a better suit overall. The head sculpt looks better on the Justice League version, when compared to the Dawn of Justice version. The cowl on the Justice League figure looks better than the one that's on the Dawn of Justice figure. However, the Dawn of Justice version has a more prominent bat symbol. The back of the neck is also more prominent. For some reason, the bat symbol is more visible on the box art for the Justice League version when compared to the figure itself. The Dawn of Justice suit is a bit thicker and bulkier when compared to the Justice League suit. Of course, as you've already mentioned, the Dawn of Justice figure currently has a custom cape. As a result, comparisons can't be made. I prefer the utility belt that's on the Justice League version. Otherwise, thanks as always Dean. I really appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!
The cape on that bvs bat throw up a forward dean! The bvs batman is superior the cowl the body the color tone just more intimidating! And the film was better imo
Rewatching the classics
Most definitely prefer bvs suit. It’s just angrier and grimier. He seems more like an animal. Still love JL suit but bvs will always win

I love the justice league suit since it mixes the tradition look of the bvs suit and the moden look of the Nolan films that being said figure-wise the bvs one looks better

My only issues with the JL Batman are; the colour of the suit. It’s a glossy blueish dark grey where in the film, (and on the box!) it’s a dark mat grey look, almost looks like grey denim. The second issue is the thin neck. Again, on the box the neck is thick and short. Oh and the bat symbol just looks like a mess. On the box you can clearly see the bat symbol.
I want the first version so bad.

BvS one is great, but it always looked short legged to me. JL all the way for me, it's way better proportioned.

The problem of the Batman JL is just on the neck. In the movie, the neck was more solid than in the Hot Toys.
Batfleck JL is way to shiny compared with the actual movie suit
That JL figure is not accurate to the movie I bought it and sold it twice because it looks off. The head sculpt looks more proportional on the tactical batman figure than on this body.
