Dean it would be a crime not to keep this guy honestly! If it means we see more of him in the future I’ll order you a custom regular hot toys style base for him from TW!
Referring to this piece as the best Hot Toys Batman figure is an understatement for sure. The head sculpt is 100% Ben Affleck as the caped crusader. Everything, from the eyes, to the skin texture, the facial hair and hair are all impressive in terms of sculpt, paint application and details. The eyes have a nice sheen to them that further adds to the realism. The skin has some nice speckling and age marks. The individual hair strands look great as well. The body is muscular and bulky as it should be. The outfit and cape have a nice texture to them. The interchangeable eyes are a nice inclusion. However, it's unfortunate that the magnets that come with mouth pieces are a bit on the weak side. Also, the plastic that was utilized for the body is black for some odd reason. It's just something that's worth pointing out. I love the dynamic pose with the spread out custom wire framed cape. Batman comes with a decent amount of accessories. The display base looks great and it compliments the overall piece rather nicely. This is an awesome 1/6th scale Batman figure release on the part of Hot Toys. With that aside, thanks as always Dean. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

Thanks for the shoulder advice on how to get them to be flushed to the torso. I was wondering how you did that on your batman begins QS. Now I got to do it to mine!

Hello dean, can i ask is the material on the suit the same as the bvs version? And which is more poseable, this one or the bvs?

Good review, Dean. I wish HT was more consistent with its scaling, especially when the figure's of the same actor/character.

Awesome very detailed figure review as usual, one question please does the rubber body of this Batman require maintenance to avoid flaking / peeling? does this require Aerospace 303 Protectant or this material is durable and doesnt require high maintenance like pleather?
I love my Suicide Squad, but this one is a monster , my favorite Hot Toys so far. And I've been collecting for years !

Hey Dean! I’m review my JL Batman tomorrow and I wanted to need him up . Did you ever do a full Batman beef mod video in the past? Or did you end up keeping this one and did you need him up. I’m curious on how people did this.
What do you recommend for maintaining this figure?

Hi Dean hopefully if you can read my message I accidentally i drop my ben affleck head and in his chin area got hit how can I fix it which paint can I use he looks ugly now
I bet you could heat up the cowel in hot water and stick your finger in to widen the neck. Mind you, you would have to be careful the mouthplate size didnt change. Great video man 👍

I think they are actually bulkier than Affleck's legs in real life
Yes! Legs are too thin and chest isn't broad enough
Body frame looks like a Ken doll
One figure I need to get is a Batman figure. I have the 89 Joker figure but no Batman, I would like to get Batman returns.
Figure looks nice, but there's just something about the JL cowl I don't like... the BvS look was much better.

I hope the suit doesn't flake like the previous Batflecks. I'm quite hesistant to pull the trigger on this one and stick with the quarter scale BVS from Sideshow due to my previous experience losing two Batflecks from flaking suits :(

Chest isn't broad enough and leg's are too skinny very disappointed with this figure especially compared to the Justice League Superman figure
