Spot on Christina. For some reason, I started creeping in closer and closer on short chips, had to reroute the club to avoid my body, and ended up with a case of the dreaded "shanks."
Overall, I'm a pretty decent golfer, but that rocked me to the core, was almost afraid to attempt that shot. Eventually, through trial and error, I realized I was way too close to the ball and finally backed the heck up. I'm all good now, but that was kinda unnerving, to say the least.
