As a life long Kings fan, I had no idea people were hating on my team. Mostly everyone forgets we exist lol. Or just the "That Other team in California." But I'm glad there are videos being made of the Kings now, in a positive light. It's been a long time.
From someone who watched every Kings game this season I'd say spot on breakdown. Plus contributions from players like Lyles and Davis have been huge. Credit to Mike Brown for sticking with TD in games where he made some early mistakes because he has shown how coachable he is and has huge potential
@@wwthing yeah and he may not be in the playoff rotation, H & M are where its at for sure, but there is a real strength in numbers going on that will help through the long slog of a season. The Haliburton/Sabonis trade might be the best win/win trade of all time. What Sabonis is doing for the Kings and what Haliburton is doing for the Pacers is incredible. I love how quietly Fox handles business as well. Rarely flashy, rarely makes a big deal of it, just gets the job done and knows when to step it up. Sometimes I do wish he was a bit more aggressive to start games, but this holding back and really attacking in the 3rd and 4th quarter, almost Warriors style, is really working out for them. They do have a lot to learn, but I'm really excited for the future, and this time it doesn't feel like a fragile excitement. This team feels real and solid.
Having Fox fresh for the 4th quarter is huge. He can be downright unstoppable if he's 90% and the other team is dead tired. First 3 quarters Warriors motion offense through Sabonis is *chef's kiss*
I think people miss out on that and allot don’t actually watch the kings. People claim fox is just a selfish scorer, farthest from the truth, he gets teammates involved always early in the game in a touches way, he likes everyone to touch the ball, he doesn’t hunt assists and imo still misses out on allot of assists by teammates not making shots, that one handed sling alley oop to sabonis on tnt shows his real passing ability. Hali reminds me of rondo when he was in sac, he would hunt for assists like candy, but almost felt selfish and meaningless. He can’t close a game for you unless his teammates hit shots, this is why Hali will have really bad statically nights when his teammates are off to where fox can close out a game himself telling people to get out the way. This is the same reason when fox was hurt the year Hali was traded and Hali got the sole ball handling opportunity the kings actually lost more games than with fox as the main ball handler
Raining on Parade, but what the Kings have done is historically common. The Bulls & Knicks come to mind. They're a capped team. I'm just not sure they have contender potential without another major star, maybe Keegan becomes that.. IDK.

Teams like the Kings are always the most fun to root for as a fan. Rooting for a team that came out of nowhere just has an energy other successful teams don't have. It reminds me of when my Pistons broke through in the 2001-2002 season with 50 wins and a lineup that looked like this C - Ben Wallace PF - Cliff "Uncle Spliff" Robinson SF - Michael frickin Curry SG - Jerry Stackhouse PG - Chucky Atkins, with their major bench contributors being Corliss Williamson and Jon Barry. As a nuggets fan living in California being able to go to the kings games I have so much respect for them for how much they’ve improved over the years
This vid was well done. 👍🏽
Your channel does deep analysis. The talking heads, are all about drama & "Hot Takes", then they use hindsight to adjust their opinions, to make themselves appear smart. They never do deep analysis.
All of a sudden !! They wanna talk about us kings fans !! Light the beam !!!
Gave up on basketball for over a decade after the kings run in the late 90s early 2000s, didn't go to the GS side of nor cal basketball....it's good to see them finnaly come back to the top of the league again
I love to see it the Kings been good in a long time since I was Middle School, it’s nice to see Sac Town winning.
If the kings can get their defense in check, we’re possibly looking at a championship contending team. I don’t think they’ll get past the first or second round this year, but I’m just happy to see my local team finally winning
BEAM TEAM
YESSSIRRR
Exactly the same style as his father. Cool! I didnt knew Arvidas Sabonis had a son who is a player too.
I’m frm mac town. This video was dope. The hate for the kings runs deep!! But Mike Brown is turning it around !! 916 light the beam ! 🟣
Are we just not gonna talk about that facial fox gave olynyk that shit was insane
I love this video because it talks about the kings and says something other than “terrible franchise”.
thank you, a hopeful kings fan
Ahhh, all I needed to hear was the unsustainable clutch scoring and now I see that they’ll probably fall back to earth soon enough.
Glad you metioned mike brown👏🏿
Good video! Go Kings!
West has been a disaster this year. Warriors, Lakers, Suns etc.. but Kings playing hard and good. Unfortunately they are good for a Kings team, not a real threat in the West. But us Kings fan will take anything we can get!!! Playoffs?!?! Yep, that would be a great season for Kings.
Keep up the great content! Appreciate you!
I don’t consider it disastrous when those three teams specifically are playing poorly.
Well said.
As usual, 6Man for MVP
I hate that the Hawks traded Kevin. Glad he’s killing it tho 💯
And now... the 2 seed. Just beat the Suns, the Nicks, the Pels, and the Clippers twice. won 8 of the last 10, and 40 wins on the Season on pace for 50 wins. Light the beam.
Father's lessons to the good.
