Rings in Boston in 2024... Rebuilds aren't easy or quick but if there's a single human I want at the wheel for a rebuild, it's Danny boy.

Fits the knicks playstyle and vibe and they are hoping to not need picks.
I'm a Jazz fan. The very last thing that I would call this build is a masterclass. They did do very well in the 2024 draft because they got very lucky. But overall it's been a complete disaster. And they're likely to end all hope of fixing it when they give Markkanen the max this offseason.

Yao Ming is the tallest player to play in an All-Star Game and the tallest player inducted in to the NBA hall of fame.

They are not there where the Thunder are. There is no clear direction what Utah is gonna do. Who is the cornerstone? To collect draftpicks is easy it’s the time you pay the max for number 1+2 when it’s get tricky. Ainge fleecing the Nets for Garnett and Pierce was genius because the Nets where awfull for a long time and Tatum and Brown are nobrainer to give maxcontracts. Minnesota will stay good, there is no star coming from them picks.
Its a great rebuild if they get a generational talent like Cooper Flagg. Otherwise they are still behind because every championship team needs a top 5-10 guy which the Jazz still dont have

They are not there where the Thunder are. There is no clear direction what Utah is gonna do. Who is the cornerstone? To collect draftpicks is easy it’s the time you pay the max for number 1+2 when it’s get tricky. Ainge fleecing the Nets for Garnett and Pierce was genius because the Nets where awfull for a long time and Tatum and Brown are nobrainer to give maxcontracts. Minnesota will stay good, there is no star coming from them picks.

They can't be too impatient. That's what teams do sometimes, the rebuilt starts out well and they get some good peices, then they just jump immediately into win-now mode and blow it

They already have 3 rookies, 3 second year players, and a 3rd year player on the roster. Not sure what you have that Danny would want right now

Let’s be honest… what they get back in a trade is a chance to get a star back when it comes to draft picks. And you can only get so many players on a roster. I mean so far haven't done shit. I will say that it seems like every single pick under Danny Ainge has seemed like a great pick / a steal. I just wish they'd commit to bottoming out and trading Lauri, to get higher draft picks. They're currently just stuck in that anywhere from 8-12 range, they need a franchise changer which, for the MOST part, you aren't gonna find unless you're in the top of the drafts. They seem like they're in a "having the cake and eating it too" rebuild rn. George is a nice pick, Cody is a nice pick, Taylor Hendricks I hope is a nice pick, Collier and Filipowski are both steals imo, they need a STAR in the draft, and you're just ....not impossible, but unlikely if you're constantly in that 8-12 range.
