So, perhaps an ignorant question, but is it best to use cotton for the face scrubbies? I only have 100% acrylic at the moment. 🫤 Is the cotton preferable because it’s going on the face? Just curious.
The final round for these isn’t meant to lay completely flat, but if the frill is too much for you, you could always adjust your hook size or just work a plain round to finish 😊
Hi. I can only find nylon DK yarn locally. Can you advise how I can change the pattern to work with DK rather than aran? I've started crocheting again after many years and this project would be a good start. Thanks for any help you can give me.
You can work this pattern with DK yarn in the same way, it would just work up slightly smaller. An alternative would be to hold two strands of the DK yarn together, which will work up slightly bigger than the aran weight 😊
Ideally you should slip stitch by working under both loops of the chain as this is most secure; however there's nothing wrong with only working through one loop if you find that easier 😊
