I keep reading BOAT acronyms like (Bust Out Another Thousand) but the best one is (Bankruptcy On A Trailer) LOL
Isn't the definition of a boat not a hole in the water that you throw money into?
I live in Kingsland
They were just jelly because they have no means to get into rebuilds.
Where is this?? Florida?
Rebuilder Guy which Copart location is that
When you said “I need to get across” I thought I need to get a cross, like a crucifix to perform some kind of exorcism there, lol.
Kingsland was basically under water last fall. The bridge washed out. That shiz was crazy. My guess is the boats smashed in to the boathouse roofs during the hi water we endured last fall in central tx.
The cause of all the crushed windshields and towers is from a abnormal rise in lake level when the boats are stored in their boat houses.
As the water lever rises beyond normal levels, the boats float above their slings and get pushed into the roof of their boat houses crushing windshields and towers.
I’ve seen it first hand!
Thank you that's the conclusion I came up with as well
STRONGIN5 the Russian hackers did it ..... that’s what cnn said anyway
Capsizing
Its from them rolling over in storms.
STRONGIN5 makes sense.
Unbelievable amount of boats on that lot! Reckon a lot are hurricane damaged. Can't wait to see what you get.......
@@TheBeardofReason Thanks for the info. I'm from England, so I was just going on the news reports we get here.
Looking forward to seeing the boats👍👍💛
Where is this?
You keep posting, we'll keep watching!
Thank you!
@Ďa Šoldier and I mean it!
I like encouraging youtubers!
Rebuilder Guy the towers are damaged from being on covered lifts on the lake, the water rose over 30ft in just a few hours.
they should have had them towers folded down 😎
Lake LBJ had a flash flood caused by the Llano River flood in west Texas. The lake rose 15 ft. above normal level (constant level lake). Took out a major bridge, docks, flooded boats and houses.
Yep...Llano River flood...had a friend that lost a home to it...flooded LBJ and smashed boats into boat-house-ceiling...simple.
I’m willing to bet most of these boats broke loose from their moorings and/or docs and were washed downstream and were crushed under low-water Crossing bridges during the big flood in the fall of 2018
MOST ARE TEXAS BOATS DAMAGED IN THE 10/18 FLOOD ON LAKE LBJ
Yap got a lake house on lbj it got destroyed we had jetskis in the front yard
I’d buy one with crushed towers, get thing running have a sweet boat then save up and put new things on over time
Trim tabs are flaps now? Haha I would be in heaven here, I love boats with a passion
Maybe on the way in there is a low bridge and if you drive a big rig just aim and then a steady flat out thro it and bingo the boats lost that roof bit. Build a jet ski they things are awesome
Nothin but wake makers n jet skis up on land.
Perfect!!
Stfu you prolly only own a kayak or a slowtoon
@@FlyingFilmsHD ummm....nope.
@@tbear68- then whats the big baller got? obviously nothing important or worth money!
Yeah, I'm probably just an angry paddle boarder...

Nice playground! I could get into a lot of trouble there....
Financially speaking.
I'd love to snag a few PWC jet drives for some small projects / experiments.
Looks a lot like the boats from Panama City, Florida after the hurricane last year. A lot that were stored in the warehouses looked like that post storm.
I always wondered what happened to these sort of boats during bad storms. Boat Heaven !
I can't beleive some of the answers here. HURRICANES you IDOTS!
Most likely damage came from collapsed boat stack during storms...certainly if they did not flood and sustained damage like you've shown.
the idea of a water damaged boat is hilarious to me
Most boats don't do well under water. They're supposed to stay on the surface. "Flooded boats" usually means they sank, many damaged in hurricanes, etc. These are mostly from texas n Florida. Motors are usually ruined when they go to the bottom. Totalled by insurance.
@@marty8155 ya OK genius, how often do hurricanes hit the UK? Nevermind u pompous asswipe, i know, almost never, last one was 1987, i was there actually. Ever been to a coastal city after a hurricane? Or a marina after a hurricane or even a tropical storm? No, or you wouldn't be spewing nonsense on UA-cam about how Americans don't fix stuff, on a video about an American fixing stuff. Oh the irony lol. However I do agree that overall waste, especially food waste, is a serious issue. And the US now has an administration that is cutting funds for recycling, clean air & water, etc. Also cutting education. All to pay for tax cuts for the super rich. But most Americans dont support.
Like fr
marty ansell it’s about insurance. Once a boat like these has it’s engine flooded, it is totaled.
If the engine was NOT running when swamped, it will be fine, with an oil change of course. But only if it was not under water for a long time. Although I have seen an outboard that was found on the bottom, and this guy drained it, gave it some gas, cleaned the carb out, and it fired right up! He reckoned it had been there for at least a decade. So, anything is possible.
The reason these boats were scrapped, is because they were luxury boats. You'll notice the abscense of any jon boats. Those are all fine, after being sunk.
It's all the accessories, on the lux boats, that really get damaged.
Anything with an engine, what's not to like. You guys rock love your vids just keep me wanting more.
Thank you for watching! Thats what I was thinking a little change of scenery and who doesn't like seeing awesome boats heck I cant afford em but I would look at them all day lol
If you have the time I guess it’s worth it depending on damage. Water crafts are. Styled so that you have to take them in for service. Gel coat damage is very hard and timely to do.
I dont know why I love this so much, people that lost their boats and toys, but I would love to walk through there, I'm more interested in the jet skis
I didnt see any jet skis in that vid. (Have to look again). At least 100 waverunners tho. Actual jet skis are less common these days because they require skill to operate. Any 10 yr old kid can drive a waverunner. (Which is why they account for the majority of boating accidents lol).
Those boats were docked in covered slips and the flood brought up the water and the boats were crushed by the roofs ofthe buildings
Nope, boats were submerged and many will upend in the process. The tides naturally drag these things to the shallows and shorelines. This is where boats start to come apart.
I thought the docks floated too
I think the docks are free floating. Most likely, the snow was too much for roofs and they collapsed on the boats.
That Mastercraft is sick 💯🔥
Really liked your video Rebuilder Guy. I really need a boat at a reasonable price. I afford a new one, it was great seeing the video thanks Onelove ❤️💛💚
The Tabs on the stern are called trim tabs. They help the hull to ride in the correct position in the water. They do not have anything to do with surfing .
storm or flood damage, I've bought many of these and you can get a real buy if you can do the repairs yourself. Be very careful of engine damage, frozen blocks and salt water are the main reason engine damage will be listed. Never bid blind, always go look first, as the pictures often don't show the real damage... been there, done that
Yes! Actually love to try one myself
Thanks for the video. It was great.
I think the reason you're looking for is called "Storm surge"
Trees blowing really really fast.
Who is here after goonzsquad cheap boat rebuilt 😳
What about brooke has a decent boat rebuild
Lol I’m here after goonzsquad rebuild.
No boat rebuild is cheap
Sketchy
me me lol love those owks
You tapped into a gold mine man. Same thing with vehicles, equipment, real estate ect.. Great channel.
I know your not really a boat guy, but those “Flaps” are called ‘trim tabs’ and they do exactly what they are called. they trim or adjust the level or lean angle. They can also drag the stern or back of the boat in order to create the desired wave shape.
lol
Guys, I buy and rebuild boats for a living and I warn anyone trying to buy these boats, IT'S EXPENSIVE and very, very time consuming. When you are done, you still have to tell prospective buyer that it was a totaled boat (in most states) and I promise you, the second you do that the value / price just dropped by a third or more. Bluntly, a buyer has a choice, your supposedly rebuilt boat, or one that didn't have to be rebuilt. Guess which one they buy unless you give them an amazing incentive / price. Not saying you can't make a buck at it, I do but then I have a full shop and three full time Marine specialists as well as a lot of great connections for parts. If it's for your own personal use AND you have the expertise, give it a go but beware, the most common boat you will see in adds or on Craigslist are "Project boats" that people start to work on and give up, I buy them all the time at nearly criminal prices.
Good guy....I would like to be able to chat with you in private about a boat issue I have. How can I contact you outside of UA-cam?
You're 100% correct. I flip boat trailers for something to do and make some side money for tournament fishing. I don't care much about the time issue because it's something to keep me busy. But the cost of any project most be taken into account. If you have access to a boat junkyard and cool with the owner, then you're set. If you have to buy retail, you're screwed. But to me, the most important issue is....has the boat/trailer been in salt water? That's huge. You can make a small profit flipping boats and stuff but you really need to know what you're doing. For example, how many people know how to properly rewire a boat and with the right marine guage wiring. This is not to throw shade on this man's channel. But you need a level of expertise, helping friends, and access to parts below cost to make it work.
It's not for everyone, really.
Most people are unfocused quitters.
Good Guy How much would it be to repair a flood damaged wake boat? No hull or fiberglass damage and no interior damage. Just electrical and engine work.
boat people blow my mind theyll pay a mechanic with a 6 month certification stupid money for primarily changing oil and pulling drain plugs and swapping starters without blinking an eye....but when the Upholsterer with 20 plus years of actual craftmanship experience tells them $5000 for a new hand crafted interior they give you that omg thats way too much look like your trying to rip them off...
Yeeees pleaseee!!
I just went to a boat show at an expo center in my area, walked around checking out $100k cobalts, fourwinns and wake boats to seeing the same boats wrecked here is a wierd feeling.
Yes I’d love to buy one ☝️ of those boats because when there new the price is unrealistic so cheers 🍻 buy two!
Do not pay debts with banks ... auctions😂😂😂
I bought a very expensive($70k) "flooded" flats boat last year for $6k..it took me a week to rewire everything on the boat (I just tore it all out), $1500 for all new gauges and controls. Stole a newer outboard (2016 vs 2015) with warranty at an absolute auction for $6000 and now I am fishing! Oh, did I mention that there is a 16 month waiting list to get one of these boats built?
my freaking bass boat cost 65k and no waiting list i should have went to a auction
WOW
Can u show boat ?
That's a lot of wreck boats I've ever seen in my life good vids !!!!!!!!!
Thank you
Very nice and thanks for sharing
I live in Kingsland TX we had a bad flood come through about 5 months ago did alot of damage here
I bought one of the x30's from that auction. Also the orange wakesetter on trailer has a buy it now for $17,000
How much did you win it for, and was it worth it?
@@jimmydabutler9022 forgot what I spent but very worth it if you find the right boat with damage that is manageable
I'm not fundamentally sound when it comes to mechanics. I have fixed/changed things in a car , so how much more difficult could it be to fix a jet ski ? From what I understand there are a lot less parts ?
Hey, you are really lucky, there are no jank yards like this in Greece.... I hope to be able to rebuild those two Yamaha jet skis.. have fun, regards..JD
Boat House Squash And Drowned All Of Them
That Mastercraft at 5:00 is beautiful and I wonder if these boats sank and were recovered or just suffered hull damage.
You can tell by close inspection. Water leaves a scum line.
Ive done a couple of damaged boats an if salt water has got into the engine and it isnt stripped and sorted within a few days the salt eats away pretty fast and it costs a fortune for what you save you can go a buy one that hasnt sunk an save yourself the hassle but some people have dreams an quite often turn into nightmares and remember a boat is just a hole you throw money into
Wow! Amazing
I believe these boats broke loose and were pushed by the flood waters under the same bridge. Due to the high water there wasn’t enough clearance. The force of flood waters is unimaginable.
Unless you’re willing to sink a lot of money, “once sunk, always sunk” 🤐
Wish i had a place like that close to me. Hurricane damage is my guess. Towers ripped off like that points to being rolled over and come ashore since not much damage to the sides or bottom.
I thought those we’re roll bars on the fancy new boats. 😂
Build a floating party pontoon boat into a tiny home getaway!
First! Brazil!!
Hey dude oh my gosh this is crazy boats
“These wake surf flaps, they make an awesome wake!” 6:15 lol my man those are trim tabs
Matthew Hammond that is what makes the wake
I'm crying myself for each one
Trim tabs 😂 what did he calls them wake things???
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 amazing!!!!!
Probably resulted from a rack collapsing. They usually store this size boat on a 3-5 tier rack system and a lot of them collapsed in the wind.
Damm wish, i would find a 250hp outboard motor lol for cheap there
You've evidently never seen the aftermath of a huge marina and what's left of it after a major hurricane.
They get stacked like cord wood on top of each other against a solid structure..
Texas registration numbers.
The hurricane was two years ago.
BERSERKER
Its a big insurance auction so they pack stuff in their from everywhere i would imagine.. all the flooding in the Carolinas that recently happened.
But yes they store them in fenced in lots in the keys.. no roof over it! Just a big fenced in lot that you can store them in..
D S Texas has had major flooding in the last 6 months. This is the aftermath of docks being crushed on land and worse
No mystery.....multiple hurricanes over last 3 years.
we hauled all them jet skies from kingsland marble falls area took us a week to find them all..i work for a towing company and had to recover them all
They had a really big hurricane go through the Pensacola Harbor a couple months ago
17 years old, flipping jet skis and boats off copart, my business has done almost 6 figures thus year!
You just gotta know what your doing or else you'll loose it All! Best of luck

Crushed towers are from a Megladon breaking the surface and landing on the boats.
Damn a boat rebuild dis channel is awesome
Thank you!
Man, I need to start looking for wrecked boats. That Mastercraft X 23 is a 200 K boat back then
You walked right past a cobalt... no mention??? Best boat there IMO
Cadillac of boats
Good boat bad out drive. Lol
Pleaseeee do a boat rebuild! Something gnarly like Malibu super air natique mastercraft etc that would be sick!
Beautiful boats
You should’ve gotten the orange interior x 23 that didn’t have too much damage. And it was fairly knew and it was nice too
Yes please, rebuild a jetski or something
AikarambaNorway AGREED!!!please do a SeaDoo
Not a fan of ski boats but I see tons of profit to be made.
If you want to know about what happened to all these boats in kingsland, look up the fm2900 bridge collapsing. They had a major major flood last year. All these boats got crushed in the lift when water came up underneath it. My mom lives in kingsland. It was a ridiculous flood. Lots of videos from it. Flood came down from junction mainly. Lots of videos there too.
Lots of flooding in Texas and some of the boats we're docked and the water came up and smashed the towers on the roof of the doc house. Seen a few on UA-cam about a month ago.
Where is this? I'm a performan marine mechanic out of Tacoma Wa, is this near me?
Also, they're called trim tabs.
Sven Jonderson what’s up Tacoma, I’m Castle Rock. We have the Graham, North Seattle, Spokane, N. Portland, S. Portland and Eugene. Oh, I forgot Pasco. To get good deals, you have to be willing to take a drive. Lol California, Texas, Utah....go to places that have Long Summers (more boats per capital)and destructive Springs(tornados, high winds). People in places like that can’t go without a boat.
Trim tabs do not have that downward hook on them. That adds huge drag. Those "trim tabs" are made for making wakes.
When it comes to boats, you need to know a few things. Get a moisture meter. Find out the brands and the years that went to wood-free construction. Know which are glass and which are Kevlar. No car parts go on boats! Marinized equipment is not cheap. Take it from someone that has done this. Boats make money when you part them out.
INSANE REAL NSANE VIDEO BLOW UP THE IMAJINATION !! WOW . PLEASSE. MAKE MORE VIDEOSS FROM.THIS BOAT . ( I WILL HAVE NIGHTMARES TONIGHT ahahahaa
I hope you win that MasterCraft 2018! Love how you’re teaching us too never knew anything until now!
It’s sold over 60k :(
YEEEES
:7.00 it'l buff out!
They are all from lake LBJ. The llano river that feeds lake lbj had a 40’ rise in just a few hours. Lake lbj which is normally a constant level lake was a raging river and even took out the bridge in kingsland
Wow that first Tigé the yellow one was sooo sketchy on the front blocks! I wouldn’t get in that one 👀
It is fairly obvious what happened. There was a huge market for boat towers and they were all stolen. Crazy lol
Get 5-1 Gal Bottles of WET & FORGET, soak the Stringers and all other Wood in the Boat .. Take the Heads off the Inboad Motors( If not give it to a Good Engine Mechanic to Pre Treat it before even thinking of Turning the Key.. and Buy a couple of others for Parts for your Motor and Boat at $1k ea. Bargin..
you are the epitome of the i should buy a boat cat meme
Hahahahaha true
I might be a subscriber in the near future
hope to see you here in the future :)
All of the boats came from the flood on the llano river, most of them washed under bridges causing the broken stuff you see along with going over some of the dams..
No inwater kept boats there. All clean bottoms. Looks like a collapsed dry stack facility victims. Hurricane?
They came from the highland lakes flood in central texas, probably got pushes under bridges when the water rose.
That's what I was thinking as well
My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools...
Does the Fork Lift damage the Hull underneath? How do they prevent scratches? What about a 28 to 30 ft. boat? How would copart lift it?
Cars, RVs, boats.... what’s next a house?
I rebuild anything rebuildable lol

Boating is a great family centered activity. We take our kids, and their friends skiing, tubing, and snorkeling. Gets them out of the house and enjoy nature. You don’t buy a boat, car, motor home, etc as an investment. The family time is the investment. Happy boating!
I would say a marina roof collapsed and crushed them, or lake flooded and they all hit a non-floating marina roof. Similar thing happens when tornados hit marinas around here, roof collapses and crushes boats.
Where was this COPART yard you visited in this video. I'm just starting out wanting to fix and flip a toy for fun. I build custom toys now and I need a new adventure to try. Any info on where you were would be great thanks
U should do a rebuild on a boat
Nice transition from cars for a bit right

Those were mostly waverunners. I didnt see any jet skis. Actual Jet skis actually require skill to ride. Any 10 yr old can drive a waverunner.
the two happiest days in a boat owners life are the day he buys it and the day he sells it!
Only because i dont know (california here) the pwc's look fine. Throw a new motor and done? What would the approximate fix cost vs. Value? Im really curious. Thanks!
