The most interesting thing about these Copart walkarounds is the reveal of the actual selling price. If this isn’t included it seems like a lot of work for no return? Can we get a follow up with what they actually sell for?

I know you are trying to avoid boats that are too big... but I'd be most interested in seeing you get one that has an "indoors"... or cabin of some kind. I've seen a few like... mini cabin cruisers. Not much space, but super cool. My grandfather had a 16-ft runabout and eventually traded up to a 20 ft pontoon... but his next door neighbor at the beach house had one of these mini cabin crusers... about 20 feet... tiny kitchen eating/sleeping area and a small closet where they had a compost toilet for emergencies. Super small... but super cool.
keep in mind that some state DNR regulations require inspection for invasive species before you put them into inland lakes. An acid wash may be required.
Lots of good boats there if you know what you're looking at. Good chance you won't find too many with keys in them, especially if they were at docked when they were damaged. That's more common with the larger cabin cruisers with locking cabins and doors. Good content!
You should never start a boat engine that is not being supplied with water. You will immediately destroy the impeller that draws cooling water for the engine. Most of these boats were written off by insurance companies. Unless you really know what you are looking at, save yourself a lot of trouble and don't buy a damaged boat. Often a boat can look perfectly intact but was sunk by a storm or something. The engines, fuel tanks and electronics are all suffering from water intrusion. Unless you can get it really cheap and factor in doing everything yourself, walk away. Often boats that sank are salvageable if they worked on quickly but if they have been sitting ashore for any length of time, they probably no longer are.
Guys, stick to what you know, coming from a retired mechanic in the Coast Guard. I here you saying this looks good and that looks good trust me looks are nothing.👍
I work on boat I buy and sell them sometimes for extra money too i bided on so many of them I’m talking like 30 I didn’t get not one . I placed bids on what it would cost as a hall of the year and motor .
@@bennieknape4857 "pennies on the thousand dollar"?! Sweet! That means I can go buy a $1 million dollar yacht for a few hundred bucks as long as it has been "put in the water"!😀 Wait, "pennies per thousand", if it were say 3 pennies per thousand dollars, that would be $30 for a $1 million boat that's been in the water...😂 There quite a few yachts that can gain $500,000 in value as soon as you take possesion of it because waiting lists are *years* long and people have even paid millions more for a used boat, because they don't want to wait. A new $1.3 million Boston Whaler 420 outrage sells for around $1.7 million and certain "Lifeproof" boats are carrying a $1 million premium on 1 and 2 year old *used* yachts.
Boats that are salvaged don’t have salvaged titles the only way to find out is to deal with the same insurance company that totaled it or the same finance company I haul boats for a living and have a few clients and that is what they do is buy them and fix them and send them overseas or sell them here in the states
Can you guy go check out sea beast it’s the yellow on with two inboard engines I wanna delete the inboards. It’s up for 3600 can you guys see if the floors are soft the cabin is full of water
No boats please! Hi risk, low potential for payoff unless you get very cheap. Cars, trucks, RV's is what you're set-up for and best for content in my view. Many retirees looking for live in RV's.
Guys. Stick to cars. Please…. The lack of knowledge on something like this is a dangerous investment. Coming from someone who knows about it and rebuilding one.
When you say "depending on how much it goes for" isn't that for anything you bid on at an auction ? You make money buy buying something that is cheap and fixing it, you don't buy something that is clean and not broken.
You need more experience, your liked centre console had been sunk, you aventually work it out, I saw the corrosion from a mile away! Dude come on bro, most boats you show are heaps of cr#p, and Copar sux!

thinking the same, that is why I skipped to the end then just closed it.
A lot of extinguished dreams for sale. Heck. I would go to this auction just to look around. Lotsa cool stuff.
The cruiser. That's an awesome beast. Would love that
Excellent video!!
Need some West Coast Vids of salvage yards, totally different class of boats in the west, more of the fresh water ski boat type of boats...
The definition of a big boat (A hole in the water that you keep throwing money into)!!
The freaking Whaler! Get it!
The 1st pontoon for me!

The point is the price guys
no prices then no point
Good evening, keep doing what you like. Steve from nb
A sailboat would have been fun to look at.
Roll of the dice

Nice I like boats for a change…
Even though I’m in 🇬🇧 UK & it’s-2 & foggy great vid 👍👍
Hi Niko wouldnu mind showing us boats wrecked above 20 meter in length ? Is there boats bigger than 20 meter , salvaged but repairable
A 25 to 27 foot center console would be perfect!

If can't change a key switch you definitely shouldn't own a boat.
It’s a great deal for that yacht you two should get it it’s like 200,000 the engines are worth that.
It would be very interesting and very useful to us if you speculated on what you might be willing to bid or what you think it might be worth.

Hi the Boston whaler is interesting I would like to know more about it . If it is still available.
Those engines on that catamaran may be alittle more than 4 grand! Great video though
Was that a Stratos Bass boat at the end on the other side of the NorTch?
Bring it to AZ, I’ll float it!
how much for the auction price for crazy looking boat at 14:50 mins?
Those "radar" or "sonar" things are actually chart plotters. Standard stuff on these boats.
Where this place at?
WHAT DID THAT PONTOON THAT LOOKED PRETTY GOOD GO FOR
Wow I’ve been looking at these I have some of these on my watchlist they still haven’t sold which is good for me.
Most of them look like they would need a fair bit of work to get them running again. Of course, depends on the purchase price.
Isn't that what they do ?
Buy stuff that's broken and fix it ?
Im in s fl. How do i find out about these auctions?
Where is this lot located to the boats can be viewed
That Carolina Cat is a nice boat. That's the same company that makes World Cat catamarans.
Probably a 23 footer. Decent shape ones run about $85k.
I believe the center console with the 200 is a 22 ft, most 24 fts have either a 250-300 hp
Where in florida?
WHAT DO IT COST TO VIEW THE BOATS THERE / WHAT CITY IN FLORIDA IS IT IN , THANKS
Is the camaro still for sale?
Guys, stick to what you know, coming from a retired mechanic in the Coast Guard. I here you saying this looks good and that looks good trust me looks are nothing.👍
I think Copart could have their own presenter doing the walk rounds, there are so many thousands of things to see….
If you two could put the Vegas back together I’m sure you two could fix the yacht even faster.
The last one
How much was the Carolina Cat?
I’m in Michigan I can get fresh water boats and engines!
Harris boats are good the outboard is worth about 7k.
How much did you pay at the auction?
2:27 aren’t those the keys on the floor?
Looks like a few out of state boats, hope those owners weren't on vacation
Which Copart yard are you at in Flordia?
You need to get the black one the last one you looked at.
i would of like to see the results what prices things went for
Did the last boat (Nor Tech) end up selling, if so...what did it go for?

party boats are ment for smoth water boating not ment for ocean to ruff and flood easily nose dive
Please check out a SAILBOAT!!
not interested in any of those sail boats? Motor is optional!
Can "salvage" boats be fixed and retitled as "rebuilt" like a car can? I assume if they can, they'd lose about half their value, like a car.
They losses half there value the day you put it 8n the water, these are penny's on the thousand dollar.

@@raymondbrowder6770 Thank you!
Majority of them boats are scrap, can't tell by checking oil, many people suck out salt water oil and change with new oil
Can you guy go check out sea beast it’s the yellow on with two inboard engines I wanna delete the inboards. It’s up for 3600 can you guys see if the floors are soft the cabin is full of water

I was waiting for the prices, without the prices to compare damage and condition shown than watching the video was useless.

I think it got sideways or upside down, wtf dude your hopeless, it's a boat on water everything rusts or corrodes, oh man
When you say "depending on how much it goes for" isn't that for anything you bid on at an auction ?
You make money buy buying something that is cheap and fixing it, you don't buy something that is clean and not broken.
Boston whaler engine is way outdated looks ruff needs repower
All trash, ready for scrap yard.
You guys are not into boats, for sure.
🤣😅

Stick with Boston Whaler or Grady white...even with a destroyed moter you'll get your money back
lol, he's has no knowledge of boats, "I love boats", he's clueless..
If you do not know about boats do not buy them
Please no more copart 😖
