I grew up with TCM in the home... And it's the first time I've ever heard anyone discuss the power of regulating one's spirit -- such a powerful principle and makes me even more so impressed by how truly life-changing TCM can be!

How did you find your experience growing up with TCM? Did you like it? Respect it? Didn't care about it? Would love to hear how it was for you when you were younger.

@@theyarnycaterpillar oh I was absolutely fascinated by TCM , metaphysics, and the study of Qi. It seemed so magical to me and only realized growing up how deeply rooted in science it was. I use the principles of TCM everyday!

Hi. I am new to TCM. I just suddenly become so intrigued in chinese medicine out of nowhere and now i am interested in knowing more and practicing TCM. But I can't find the right path for me. As you grew up in that culture would you mind giving me some knowledge please . I would be so grateful to you 🙏🙏

When you said you have to first heal the mind and soul in order to heal the body..
I felt that deep in my soul..
    And started crying because
I've been through so much in my 40 year's.. that I've never let go or healed from..
That brings emotions of tears every time i think of everything.. 🥺
So i have to learn how to heal before i learn how to heal my body

That helps greatly. Every TCM practitioner should convey these principles to each patient.

  • @theoldaccountthatiusedtous6767

Chinese medicine would have saved me a lot of time and stress, because my symptoms were typical of a particular pattern. I'd like to see a world here in North america where Chinese medicine is integrated into the western medical world. I think there are a lot of us with liver qi stagnation who think our symptoms are just what it's like to be an adult... I guess I was one of the lucky ones because I properly burnt out and had no choice but to seek help or else, but many people probably just live their whole lives slightly nhappy.

    • @Lipurshan
      @Lipurshan Рік тому +1

I'm starting to learn and research about qi stagnation and find out that my body is in that condition. So I learn to practice what foods are allowed to me, etc and got surprised that green tea is not good for me! Wow.. I always thought it fits my health 😮 but not all person fits it so I'm more aware now

Thank you for your simplistic way of teaching. I’ve often thought about taking a course in Chinese medicine. I do know bits and pieces because I studied it on my own didn’t really understand some of it but you’re breaking it down in layman’s terms you are a fantastic teacher.

I realy like this short speach about illness. What you said is so true, you cant fix all illness with these daily habits. But a lot of the illness that we have today could be prevented if we were more aware of these simple habits. I still don't understand why this isn't basic education we get to learn in school these days.

Hi thanks for this video. How do you heal the spirit from bereavement? Lots of health issues are popping up since i lost my mum 2 months ago. I miss her so much and my digestion has gone to sh!t. I have embraced the grieving process and am feeling all the feelings, i am more accepting of it now than i was but I'm feeling all out of balance.

I am learning about TCM and although I enjoy and mostly agree with what you’re presenting. It is a little difficult for me to navigate because I have around 2 chronic illnesses, the top one being severe Narcolepsy with Cataplexy . I don’t enjoy the prescription medication I take , but nothing else seems to work as well. My point is that basically, most Americans (and I’m sure other cultures) blame themselves for their illnesses and that can lead to only feeling worse and hurting their health by trying to force themselves to be “normal” whatever that is 😹. I encourage you to consider being a bit more gentle when talking about chronic illnesses. I understand what you’re trying to communicate, and I think TCM is something that takes a bit of patience and self awareness in a positive way , however there are many others out there who may be offended by the way you are phrasing it? That would be a shame because that could make some people take it too personally and not listen to what you’re saying. No offense intended.

What affect flow should be noticed

Treating the spirit that comes first
Bring things back to the middle

allopathic medicine talks about 'homeostasis' "any self-regulating process by which an organism tends to maintain stability while adjusting to conditions that are best for its survival." this is not correct since the definition of 'stasis' is "a slowing or stoppage of the normal flow of a bodily fluid or semifluid" - in other words, static. As a TCM practitioner the word "Homeobalance" where 'homeo' means 'body' is much more relevant to the energetic reality of your body
