I liked Sisu, but I'm with you Adam, First Blood is my go-to movie with a one man army. Not only because it kicks a lot of ass, but it was also shot so close to my home.....so there's that too.
Totally agree with you... It was a good way to kill time, and I'm a total sucker for revenge flicks, but there were a few things that really took me out of the movie (ie. Plane scene) and I guess because it's a foreign film, sometimes slight nuances felt "off" about the overall production, but all in all, I was entertained.
Sisu does have a very basic plot. It looks like a somewhat expensive student film. Sisu does have clever action scenes but they look amateur at the same time. Hardcore Henry is a much better time in my book. The hero has no dialogue but you experience the action from his point of view.
It's an ok movie.. Saw it, thought I was going to get more from it from all the trailer hype, but in the end, it was formulaic and probably unnecessary
Goad ypu got around to this! I saw it in theaters (just wanted to Watch a non hollywood movie, something new and freah). I loved it. Over the top a lot, but its what I expected
@@AdamDoesMovies you seem to have a massive joy in people killing Nazis they were after all soldiers drafted by a country like the same way you would have been drafted into the military during the Vietnam war
While watching the movie, my son & I were trying to outdo each other creating 80's catchphrases reflecting each onscreen kill
You seem to really know your stuff. I respect that you review a lot of non mainstream movies.
My friends and I saw this at the theater, it was crazy fun.
Bro I love watching these! The algorithm needs to show you some love.
Master Sarge coming through with the good film reviews! thank you sir!
Thanks Adam! I really enjoyed this movie. Used a pick to grab on to the plane. Haha. So over-the-top. I watched it with a big shit-eating grin.
I'm glad I had an extra reason to check it out! Thanks, as always sir.
This movie didn't open in my town but I was lucky enough to see it as a Monday Mystery Movie the week before it opened. Fun movie.

The Canadian wilderness?
This movie is awesome. I personally give it the edge over John Wick. It's action galore!!
I loved this film!!!!
I liked the movie. Felt a little Fast & Furious levels of stupid at times but it was still an enjoyable watch.
Sounds like Shoot Em Up a film that some people hated for being over the top but which I thought was perfectly fine for what it is.
It was a solid action movie, but like always, the reviewers over hyped it to the point, that it almost didn't have a chance for me.

It was style over substance, I like anything that takes place during WW2 but it was pretty empty and forgettable at the end of the day.
I watched this film in theaters and had a blast. Great fun movie. Thank you for your honest review Adam.
😂 Wonderfully Funny !!!
Adam are you a communist or leftist ?
What is that stupid question even based on?
