It match good and you're mix is excellent ! Battery is a super plug in, it's like a MPC but with 48 pads and a great sounding sample banks ! NI are very pro....i remember when Reaktor appear in 1996 it was a musical (R)evolution ! The beginning of Organic sounds ! Cheers !
Fun jam, it's nice to see something (somewhat) new in synths, not all these clones coming up :/ Does this keyboard have built in drive like the subsequent/sub phatty/bass station 2?
Yes actually! Kind of crazy thinking about that in hindsight. I basically just notched the tempo knob up until it lined up with the drums. If I were doing it today I would absolutely have MIDI'd it in. :)
Finally, a demo of someone actually playing music on it. Thank you.
This synth seems to have a more organic character than my Sub37.
I love the Grandmother! Thank you for this :)
I did not know it was patchable. I did not expect that. Threw the value up. Wow. That's gonna become an iconic color scheme in the future to come.
Loved the cinematography here and the sounds.
Thank you!
I like the snare on this piece fits the sound well.
Always fun to see someone using a synth for FX purposes in a song! Great video!
I'm really glad i clicked on this :D sounds soo good!!
This is a great *can keep coming back to it* vid for the grandmother. Great job, cant wait for mine.

I did not like the Grandmother until this video !
Super track and great sounding demo !
That's a high complement, thanks!!
You're welcome !
Btw...what drum machine are you using in this track ?
Thanks !
Using NI Battery 4. Believe it or not, mostly stuff from their library, but a few samples from my own collection.
It match good and you're mix is excellent !

0:18 theme from ernest borgnine?
Had to look it up because I was unfamiliar with it... similar vibe!
Where are the drums and percussion from?
2:25 that key looks somewhat flimsy compared to the other keys

Yes, I believe so.
How did you sync the arp on the moog to the drums? By ear?
Yes actually! Kind of crazy thinking about that in hindsight. I basically just notched the tempo knob up until it lined up with the drums. If I were doing it today I would absolutely have MIDI'd it in. :)
sounds so chewy. i swear i could taste it, and then smell it in my nostrils! : )
??
Grandmother or Model D?
Grandmother, spring reverb is awesome
Fantastic! Have a sub, sir!
Thank you, likewise! Looks like you're enjoying yours too. :)
You know it! :)
what is a bass
It's like a big guitar
Such a noob question but how are you looping it?
Hey! The first thing you hear is the sequencer and is running throughout the track. I layered that with the rest of the elements in Logic.
And to think there was a time when electronic music was so much more than this bum tsch crap. Sigh...
U mad at the boom-clap?
No, just dissapointed the great Moog Grandma is used for hollow and cliche boom-clap crap.
