Starfield makes me so much more excited for the next Elder Scrolls :). Gameplay feels much improved, visuals can be gorgeous (dead eyes aside) and writing was also very decent. The next Elder Scrolls will be Todd Howards magnum opus.
Same, it makes the next Elder Scrolls feel closer than ever. They know we'll have fun with this one for a few years while they're cooking up something beautiful. I also find the writing, voice acting, and gameplay to be at par with their prior standards and it makes me really excited to explore more. I also feel like modders will be able to integrate alot of cool Starfield assets into FO4 and vice versa because the styles are kinda complementary.
Thanks Gabriela! I was hesitant for a minute because I thought I would wait until I get the Series X but now I know it's a good buy on S as well. Can't wait to get started.

Woo Hoo! There is plenty of misdirection around Starfield performance on the PC at least - I have a mid range system and it is very smooth - and no bugs so far!.
The keyboard controls though - so many, I have to relearn everything
I hope the Xbox experience is solid Gabriela, I know Digital Foundry ran some Xbox tests - seemed to be able to hold 30fps consistently.

I know! It seems outlets were quick to judge, but I find that on the Series S it runs way better than predicted with almost no buggy behavior at all. It's still very much a Bethesda game, and I think anyone expecting it to be something outside of that wheelhouse had unrealistic expectations. These games are meant to be long lived frameworks for the community to improve and play with, and I think this one holds that promise too.
Lol I'm not looking forward to the keyboard controls when I test it on PC. I also have to get used to the UI, it's a little different than I would have expected. Hope you're having a good time wandering the universe! 💜
Funny how some people - me included - just gravitate towards console gaming no matter what.
Despite me investing some decent money on a good gaming PC. I still can't help but to play Bethesda games & my competitive FPS games on my Series X.
Yeah, little bummed out that it's only 30fps on console. But if the mod community is as active in this game as in Skyrim and FO4. I don't mind.

I agree, the mod community has come really far on console, and I think they'll come in clutch in so many ways when it comes to improving the game's performance and graphics when the time comes. I don't mind the 30 fps either, I probably will play on my PC as well at some point, but for cinematic games like this, I just love experiencing them on the console. Have fun exploring! 🚀
I don't know why but it runs horribly for me on the series S constantly crashing and freezing especially during load screens and I'm not sure why, the frame rate tends to take a nose dive every so often as well I keep the console on sleep mode so its running full power
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! I've noticed a crash here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a BGS game (I crashed twice while entering Akila city though). I don't think I've noticed framerate issues, even after playing hours on end. I'm looking at my settings now, and my console is set to "Shutdown - Energy Saving" mode instead of Sleep mode. I know it's counter-intuitive, but maybe that's part of the reason your machine is working harder over playtime with this game in particular. Like they say in japan, even robots need rest at night lol. Hope that helps 💜
I think I discovered why I'm having issues I'm a dummy and didn't know these consoles have built in surge protectors.. and I had mine plugged into a surge protector so I'm thinking my console isn't getting enough power I have it plugged straight into the outlet now going to see if that helps at all
