  • This is a really easy & a quick Custard recipe.. when you need a Custard as a side dish for a dessert, you can make it with very few ingredients or else you can increase the amount of ingredients to make a bigger amount..I used this recipe in my marshmallow Pudding recipe to eat with it...

    Ingredients:
    Two large egg yolks (yolk not york in the video..oops)
    1 1/4 Cups of whole milk
    2 tbsp of sugar (or less as preferred)
    1 tsp of vanilla extract

    How do I know if it is at the right consistency? when it is not a bit runny?

      Sorry I am just looking at this comment..it’s suppose to be runny consistency..bring to to almost a boil stop.. If you want it to be like a pudding consistency check this recipe ua-cam.com/video/lV_VIyqivhg/v-deo.html

      @@SueRanStyle But I do have a question? How does it become vividly yellow like in your video? Mine remained at a greyish-white colour

      It should get to a light lemon yellow..

      Honestly I have not experienced this before. So I googled and read few articles about this & this is what I found. Apparently that happens due to a scientific reaction, formation of ferrous sulfide..Simply due to high heat this can happen to eggs, or cooking eggs for a long time on high heat.       When you coat the mixture on the back of a spoon and you run your finger through it, it should maintain a clear path..

    This dont add up, how is it going to thicken up if it has no flour or corn starch in it ?

    How does thicken with no flour ?please explain prior waste the eggs and sugar and milk I noted the pot burn at the bottom by stir too much as wasn’t thicken with out flour
