Biffa's at it again, charging people for crossing the street. In the next episode he will jump into his vault of money and swim in it.
Yet he doesn't put tollways everywhere.
Such a Dictator, hate that xD
Feels like in Barcelona...
I make a ton of money off this in my city after seeing him do it. I think I have four parks set up for this. I also thru on nice things there but I make sure they are paying me to cross the road :)
Wanna cross the streets?
*please insert 50 pence*
For a more realistic look, maybe add small neighbourhoods between the Hamilton district and the city centre as the Hamilton district is a bit closed off and not very realistic being surrounded just by green space
Daniel Guest and also connecting the Hamilton district to the new area made in this episode as well so there is a continuity in the city
Indeed, Hamilton district looks ugly at the moment, needs beautification around it and maybe inside it. The mountain between Hamilton and the new area looks a bit off, too smooth slopes, needs terraforming to un-smooth it.
Realistic? Did you see how the ferry just runs up a wild water slide? :D
And remember to Smile. Always.
**cough** Adelaide **cough**
Build a nature reserve on that whole mountain nearby. That would be cool.

Uni: Hi alum, we would like you to donate to our new very important campus project.
Alum: Oh, what is it? New classrooms? Scholarships? New gym?
Uni: Massive construction works for the ferry service we are going to put in to connect our campuses.
Alum: ummm, why can’t you just run a shuttle bus like every other school with multiple campuses?
Uni: WE WILL NOT ADD TO THE TRAFFIC!
Timmy is still making his tea
He’ll be there in a second
Phew :-)
You know we wouldn't mind longer episodes. Something about you building stuff is very relaxing. Great stuff!
My bed time video
@@slimmachin my 'everytime' video xD
Yes longer episodes please! And more often would be great.
I know right?! Something about these videos just relaxes me. :)
agreed, love just laying here watching these videos
Great city, Biffa. But I think we need a *nature reserve/national park* on the mountain, that separates the new section from the old. A nice cable car going up, and then back down the other side?(called the 'Tea Lift').
Just saw the comment and thought it should totally be called the steeper or dunker because it would be going up and down constantly. Like a tea bag hanging on a string.
A whole series connected by cable car would be wonderful!
As Yorkshire tea is the best to drink it could be. T' lift.
So what do you do for work mate?
Biffa: I'm a city planner, an architect , a traffic consultant and full time entertainer. Also tea.
Maybe put a suburb inbetween the other town and use that hill/mountain as a feature. Can run cable cars up there or something?
Hey Biffa, you've been banging out quality content for the past few weeks quite intensively. If you ever need a break or anything, we would all understand. The best to you!
I appreciate the thought, but this is my job, can't just take a break without planning ahead and expect me bills to pay themselves. Glad you're enjoying my content and I hope it helps to pass the time with everything going on at the mo :-)
Now, you are the real mayor: "i will fix it, but not today..." 😂 Biffa
In the middle of the new roundabouts, where the paths meet, is it possible to put a cafe or something like that in the middle? People walking across the roundabout see a cafe in the middle with a 360 degree elevated view of the surrounding area. They have to stop to have some tea. It might help the "park" make more money?
I like the thought of that, maybe elevate the ground a bit, to put the Café on.
Hrmm .. maybe I should make an asset like that.
This map looks so nice, everything you build on it looks 1000x better than anything I can do on console. Good work!
Man that ferry is cruisin' @9:30 lol! I just played Cities Skylines for the first time all thanks to your inspiration. I gave you a shoutout in my videos I made about it! Thanks so much for everything Biffa! Hope you and the family are well.
I love your TeaVille, series, I subscribed half way through and went back to watch all of them. Thank you so much for teaching me how to deal with traffic, I always got mad and quit my cities because of it. Thanks to you i have a 130,000+ city pop with over 80+ Traffic. Makes the game really enjoyable now.
Always awesome to see your cities grow :) You're definitely a wizard with traffic
Hi Biffa. Long time listener, first time caller... love the frame of the new zone. Freeway junction in the centre, splitting off to roundabouts etc. You make it look so easy! I made notes... lets see if I can read them.
Thank you Garrick Kalman :-)
Thanks for the Traffic Tip man, I was worried about my highway traffic coming into the city. I used TM:PE and all the rules and traffic was getting worse. Now it helped. Cheers!
I am really really Really LOVING this series! Thank you so much for entertaining me the way you do Biffa!
it'd be cool to see an old town district centred around the old market square, tax office, amsterdam palace etc with the european themes, get some trolley busses or trams in there and really make it either a bit more free formed shape like old town warsaw or modern grids like barcelona.
I like the sound of that! Plus you mentioned 2 of my favourite cities in Europe and Warsaw that I live in :-)
how about a government section - with court house, tax office, intelligence agency, oppression office etc.
Oppression office LOL
Yeah. Something more like real life.
There actually is a supression office in the game. 🤣
@@Grumpy_old_Boot I don't doubt it. It's just really funny regardless.
@@Saknika
True that. 😁
Loving the Teaville videos recently, keep it up mate!
I've seen some other people mention it, but you truly do need to name something "Hugo Memorial". Hugo Memorial Highway? Hugo Memorial Park? Hospital? Roundabout? Gimme something!
And also, a raised train track. Or monorail, or metro. But one way or another, have a nice loop that goes around this whole new section, all scenic and relaxing. Perfect to film from once the area is properly built up. :-D
I love listening to and watching your work! It gives me so many ideas for my own towns! Excellent content!
I was binge watching the Biffa back catalogue when this popped up. Always excited for a new video :)
Busy Biffa! 😆 Dude, that ambitious canal project HAD to have cost you some money! 😆 I like the money making walkover roundabouts and the Central Park idea you have. Really nice looking city. Looking forward to seeing more, thanks... 👍
some modern-style financial districts with unique financial buildings, a monorail passing through and trees with pink flowers
Cherry trees in blossom … Japanese style !
@@Grumpy_old_Boot that one!

To be fair, they are quite pretty when in blossom. 😀
But yeah, a japanese business district, or chinatown sort of area would be pretty cool.
I must say Biffa, your video editing skills have improved so much, it's really great to see. :)
Make more parks, I live in London and they love Parks, including me I also recommend adding the Sequoia trees they are beautiful
Sequoias ! There's a few in the UK....they get to over 100feet when an oak or beech will get to maybe 60. They're fabulous...spongy bark lol
Really good build! Like how you did the ferry connection
Another enjoyable episode. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more episodes.
I use "money parks" a fair bit. I have one in my current city in between two underground metro stations called "Subway Ripoff Park". Makes lots of money. :)
All of these freeloaders using roundabout paths in my city, that changes today! Love the videos. Going to need rehab for Biffa after Teaport/Teaville
Hey Biffa. Just went through a breakup and watching this series is really making my day and cheering me up. Thanks for being such a positive influence :)
You know you're captivated in a video when you try to zoom in and out and are then shocked when you see the comments section. :-) I'd like to see the rest of that Central Park area be done up with a Liberal Arts college and use the Campus Life houses that KingLeno made in the surrounding neighbourhood. A few soccer parks in there would be lovely. Plenty of trees, of course, for a lovely, shady corner of town.
Thanks for making my day when a video comes out 👍
Aaaah! I always get your notifications 12hrs after the vid has released! Either way, great video!
I actually used this park in a recent town of mine, and it's pretty neat .. but expensive.
Bouncy castle, Japanese Garden, and Botanical Garden are still my go to parks.
Frankly, I think the more expensive parks should have a much larger area of influence.
Please tell me where I can find this park, I searched the workshop using all words I can think of to find it, but couldn't find it.
and wich keywords should we use to find it?
@@bouwmr
It is called *Central Park* and is a unique building in the *Green Cities DLC* and you need to build it to unlock the *Ultimate Recycling Plant*
You unlock it by having 5000 people visit your parks & plazas.
Though, someone may have copied it and put it on the workshop, I dunno.

Honestly I just feel like living in Teaville! It looks amazing what you’ve done so far
I’m looking forward to finally playing cities next week on PS4! Even without the mods and things I can’t wait! I’ll be doing your challengers when I can as well!
Dont forget to biffafy your new highway intercetion also keep up the great work pal. You have made me come back to the game with new ideas so keep it up
23:03 maybe ski resort on that mountain?
Biffa, this city is a beautiful spectacle. My OCD thanks you!
Yassssssss this is great. I'm feeling tired, thinking about what Im going to do to relax for a bit. Perfect timing! As always, I'm going to make a cup of tea, grap a blanket and a cat, settle on the couch and stream to the television. Love it already.
By the way, if any of you happen to come across a black tea with lemon and lavender, buy it. You won't regret it.
Enjoy :-)
Stream the tea, drape the cat over your lap, and pet the blanket, while you sip your television ? 🤣
@@Grumpy_old_Boot haha something like that ;)
Please do teaville more as I love the videos and always wanted to play but I have a PlayStation and sadly can not afford it so I love watching you build and develop it it’s so good!!
I always like how you build something but instead of just finishing it you teach us how to build it and what it would do.
Love your content, keep the good work going!
@biffa I have to admit i have a blast watching your vids. I just started playing this game when the quarantine crap started just to pass the time as i was tired of the games i had. It took me 2 weeks to get the hang of the base game. I just downloaded all the dlc"s at once and now im clueless. lol But not only does your videos help a lot. They are also very entertaining. You've definitely earn my sub. I have an idea for a challenge that id like to see you try. The "Transit Challenge". Basically the goal is to make the most profit from your city's transportation in x amount of time. Obviously you would have to iron out the details. Its just a thought.
Just as i was nodding off on the sofa Biffa pops up! Quick cup of tea and some new Teaville!!!!
Enjoy :-)
imagine a real life city installing a massive canal inlands just to ferry students from one end of campus to the other
Hah, we would totally do that here in Denmark … after we build a tunnel and a bridge, of course.
@@Grumpy_old_Boot not true, we just give them free fare and let them navigate a dwindling, insufficient public transport system if they dare live outside of a major university town
Is that sad Sister Denmark I am looking at. ^ ^
@@Crosshill
I dunno man, we could totally connect DTU with Frederikssund, via lakes and rivers !!
But first, we have to finish the Fehmern Belt Fixed Link tunnel thingamabob.
And then build some Bridge .. somewhere … maybe between Bornholm and Russia, yeah !
From Nexø to Gdańsk !
And then from Gdańsk to Kaliningrad !
And then from Kaliningrad to Klaipėda.
And then from Klaipėda to Riga.
And finally from Riga to St Petersburg!
It would be a fabulous bridge .. truly! 😁
Especially when there is already a river connecting the two!

Would want to see the "Unviersity" university in one part, but also a zoo. While I think of it, the island you started to build on feels half finished too. But love this build series! See you in the next video!
Beautiful work
I don’t know why but I get bored with a city quite often and end up starting a new one. I wish I had the same dedication that Biffa has with Tea Ville
hey Biffa! Love the videos as always! Maybe you should give some of Teaville's specialty industries some love and expand those! Always love seeing videos like that.
I like how you use 2 colors of trees sometimes. Thank you for caring that much.
I like 'straight trees'. They give the place some sense of history. Like, the field used to be used for agriculture, there are some hedges left. When building a real road, no one would go on and remove all hedges for miles around. If it were possible, I'd make disused railway tracks as well. That and if I actually bothered to play myself )
!!Biffa, you are great to watch and listen. I find myself working on my city and just listening to you sometimes.
I need some advice on my city!!
I got my population up to 190k without DLCs. I finally bought a few and chucked them in and wow they are fantastic! I would do your trick where you turn off despawning and let it sit for a while.
My thought is if it doesn't drop more than 5% after 30 min of x3 speed, I should be good. (Usually high 70s low 80s) all is good and up to about a population of 255k.
Now for the problem..
I just recived the Park Life update for free and now my traffic seems to be on the fritz. One of the main junction highways I built at about population of 50k is not working. I have upgraded all my highways and junctions with nice assets, but this one/five junction is now backing up.
Three districts, metro's, helicopter, blimps, airport... 😫😑... I digress.
Should I bite the bullet and redo hours of work to make a propper junction or send it to you and let you Biffa-fi my city? I think you would like this map, I have interesting names all over the place.
BTW, the problem is on the edge of the map, my sewage area is there and the train runs of the map there.. hope to here a/some reply.
Happy City Building!
It really makes me feel better when I see even Biffa runs into some traffic issues :)
Great vid Biffa, as always, good use of the park, was wondering what to do with that in my city, thanks for the idea. Question though, if you have a chance to build a river cargo harbor, I would love to see how to build one up a river and running the barges down to the ocean going industrial ports, just a suggestion. Thanks again for the great vids.
A nice IT Cluster surrounding the main interchange with some shrubs would look cool. It can complement the cathedral of plenitude.
Getting flashbacks to when you were building dams and fighting with the water physics
New biffa vid... makes popcorn before watching..
What i would love to see in a future episode, that would be for you to fill in the little gaps you have left out between your main city center, the Hamilton district and the new area you're building.
Their are a few spots that have been left out and that could be put to use by a few streets of low density residential etc with only a few bus lines.
Just to you know... Full in the blancs
Thanks for the video, helps take my mind off this crazy world.
Hi Biffa, I learned something new today: same level with MoveIt 7:10 and Touch This 7:23. I use move it but I've never been able to know level or slope. Touch this, just hearing this today. Thanks and great videos.
Wonderful stuff, as always, Biffa. 😊
Just curious as to what mod that red circle with the people in our in the upper right is for.
Cheers!
Hey Biffa! In Sofia, Bulgaria we have a huge park that is the size of a several housing projects at the main entrance/exit of the city. Hope you like that idea and it will go well whit the central park bit you started. It's called Boris Gardens, named at the former Tzar of Bulgaria as it was the Tzar's park. Also the national stadium is in the start of the park, right near the canal.
Hooray for Teaville!
Yay a other great video, Thanks Biffa !
You're welcome :-)
Biffa your city wow so beautiful I promise I not kidding me
YES! Monorails ♥ Say would be interesting to draw elevated walkways all over. They look nice.
Biffa, for a city named Teaville, your districts are lacking some good tea diversity. (Diversi-TEA if you will, but you shouldn’t because that pun was horrendous). I came up with a few tea themed districts:
Chamomile Center
Ginger Grove
South Sage Side
Hibiscus Heights
Hawthorn Hills
East Eucalyptus
Thyme Township
Peppermint Plaza
Spearmint Square
Marjoram Market
The Gothic themed City Hall and old school university style would make for a wonderous square in the new part of town!
You mentioned using a monorail in the new district. Maybe some trams would be a neat addition? Something the rest of the city doesn't have that would give the place it's own feel.
A couple of hotels near the moutain (behind the area with the central park) should look nice, you could even make the montain trail and a national park there
Some sort of overground metro could be done. Linking to interchanges with each railway and connected to the (Teaside?) park, future uni, and maybe mountain resort.
That is a stunning city.
To make Even More Money from the roundabouts and to Not Slow Traffic down, you should Turn off the pedestrian crossing :)
Great episode :)
Great video as always. Looking forward to the next episode. 1 question that's been bugging me for a while... Why do you have right hand drive in teavile?
Most junctions on the workshop work better that way 👍
Nice video I love all your videos I love the fix your city's there are the best
Thanks! Ted does games :-)
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines no problem :)
Oh I need that parallel road tool. That is cool
Love your content mt friend. I have followed for sometime now. Given that there has been Reddit and ideas thrown about that the new City Skylines 2 will be country based (which is nuts) I wonder what would you want to see in a new release version of the game?
what features would you want?
what would you not want to see again?
Hey man, love your videos, cn you use more mono rails and the elevated ones as well? Thnx agian
I think some suburbs and a nature reserve or maybe shopping area with ModernCityCenter buildings. Love TeaVille😃
You give me so many ideas man 😂😂
Love the rapids for the ferry trip 😂
I would like to see pedestrians able to walk around the big roundabout. It looks like it’s using highway roads at the moment.
As others have suggested, maybe Hugo themed names for some of the parks etc
At around 16:25 in your video you're settingup the road split... also handy do disable all the crosswalks, really forcing your pedestrians to take your expensive park.. as always, love your channal and your videos. Also, little Timmy sounds like he needs to be put on a leash. Be safe
anyone else binge watching the creation to Teaville finding it oddly soothing during the ‘rona?
I loved the new episode! But I think you should try a park that I don’t believe you’ve done before. There should be some natural park assets for camping and stuff and I think the mountains in your city would be perfect for that. You can call it “The Earl Grey Woods”. Just an idea
Have you ever tried to make a metro transition hub ("hub", 2 stations :D ) with small park inside a single roundabout?
I think i've send you this suggestion some time ago, but never seen you make anything like that... I've tried many things (when i still played the game) and i liked these small parks a lot (and there's nothing like a night fireworks above the roundabout :) )
the only entry points were those 2 metro stations. there was a small garbage / police (/dead ppl) services problem, so i had to add "only servises" road to the inside of it, but it was ok like that.
anyway nice vid as always, +1 sip coming your way :)
TeaVille's version of the Panama Canal. I think they need to get Skylines to add Water Locks, Dam's with Locks and even Water Bridge Canals for Boats/Ships, which would look pretty cool (More realistic). Oh yeah, Even Tolls for using the locks, Cha-Ching! Then we can create Ferry lines from the coat to the mountains. LIKE!
Biffa you are on another level of design ....you should start a traffic consultancy company
Aww noooo!!!! that interchange into the new area mid vid!!!
You should have used a Square-a-bout!
Love this series
Thank you Edzii :-)
Legend has it Timmy is still lost
later on you should make some kind of hajcking route on that pyramid shape mountain. serpentine roads shops and whatnot. could be a fun and different addition to a city build. :)
Biffa, I have seen the "grid system" suggested for a quick start, maybe you can have a tutorial series showing all the tricks on how to make nice cities and how to keep the city working without needing to demolish abandoned buildings etc, yet upgrade and improve to get something as great as teaville.
Residential zoning on a 6 lane arterial road.... interesting.
Oh and a thought, how about a historical area with the Chirpwick Castle surrounded by gardens? Much like Blenheim Near Oxford?
Keep it up Biffa!
A massive transport hub would be nice in that area. All walking paths in and then every travel option available to all over the rest of the city.
