How can you tell the difference between a capped dye error and a coin that's been damaged? I have a few coins that look like the ones you show, but also look like they've been run over, and worn.
I have a 1944 wheat penny no mint mark and I think it's a error the L in liberty it looks like it blends in to the rim of it how or where can I bring it to and see if it is worth anything before sending it to be graded
Hi, I'm looking for some advice on getting rid of some coins. Me and a friend were cleaning out a old garage. And we found a bunch of old coins. We look them up on the coin app. And we have some expensive coins. And now not quite sure on what to do. Pay to have them graded. Or how to go about finding collectors. Or just eBay.? Any suggestions would be appreciated
Yes, PCGS and NGC are the top 2 grading companies. ANACS is third, and ICG is a distant fourth. Any other grading company should be avoided as a general rule.
Hey .... amigo I got this 2019 Roosevelt dime With a ...I believe to be a mint error... Roosevelt's head has a tony tail bun ...live in San Diego CA. Coin shops here don't do error coins ....I also have a 2006 no mint mark ...25cent where the planjes are bigger the center piece...looks like an Oreo cookie...what I tripped on that the lines around the eage all line up....need me some Xmas cash .. can you help???.
Any Lincoln Memorial Penny can have a "floating roof". EBay sellers have many for sale at auction. You should check them out to get an idea on $$$. The selling value also depends on other factors like... Condition, Color, Any errors on coin, Key date coin and so on. A coin is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
