Cheers man, nice review! I've watched all your videos on the mantis and after this one i've finally decided that i am buying this thing monday morning. I am currently riding the m365, but with 2500 miles on the clock already i think it is time for change. The kaabo distributor here in Bulgaria is offering the 800w 18.5 ah version with hydraulic brakes and a starter key for 1200 euro, so I will go with that one. For how much did you get yours? Best regards and looking forward for new videos from you!
@@ChargeandScoot the price difference is significant, but probably it depends on how the different distributors are ordering the scooters from the factory. I wouldn't sacrifice the two year warranty they are providing by ordering from aliexpress or somewhere else..
Exactly what I thought plus UK stock with quick delivery and I have seen stories of ppl importing and then needing parts, contacting local distributor but distributor won’t help unless you provide the order number and bought from them.

@Charge and Scoot, I am looking to upgrade from my Pure Air Pro to this, how much would you pay for a mint one in 2025 second hand but well looked after ?
If they could do one like this with the IP ratings of that Pure one that costs about £650 and say do this for about £1200 they would clean up in the UK.
I been googling and researching for too many weeks about IP ratings for e scooters. Most brands don t even bother warning"don t use in rain" , or they warn you after buying ! I bought this, sent it back when they email me "dont use in rain". Did 40,7km in very wet , muddy and steep hilly terrain. It has apparent high IP rating battery IP7 , other parts IP55. But some plastic caps(plugging holes) by battery compartment , and the caps plugging the charger ports don t fit so well and actually come lose . So I am not sure how this gets IP7. Well I use both if I need to slow down fast, however if I just want to slow down slightly (not in a hurry) then I just pull one of the levers very slightly so that the disc brake doesn’t engage but the kers breaking (regen) come on and gives me a bit of charge back and saves the pads on the discs 👍
I only rode the mantis for a couple of kilometers as a test ride, but I have to tell you that with the hydraulic brakes you really need to be careful what you are using first, especially while cornering. And for those that are used to riding a bicycle - on that scooter they are reversed.
@@dudumegafixe sorry, I didn't clarify. Rear first. @@chirpywiggins5796 That is true, but since by law it is illegal they still do those stops and check ups, specially in cities, they see it is not a Xiaomi and it is a big chance you going to get checked even if you are riding slowly or simply even sitting somewhere having scooter next to you. In Germany it is real bad and I have heard in UK too some got impound their scooters like Speedway Mini 4 Pro, Zero models and some Dualtrons, yet some got stopped even with Dualtron and just got warnings that high powered scooters are illegal. So I been thinking if it would be possible to make a on/off switch for speed limiter, so if you get stopped simply by press of a button you limit your scooter.

Hi - really interesting review thanks. Could I ask where you got the light/phone holder setup?
Where did you get the handle bar mount from pal?

would you recommend this or the Zero 9?
Great video .... Have you had any issues with police driving on uk roads ?
