Contacted the retailer and they say tyres are not covered in the warranty, but they will put me on the wait list for the appropriate tyres. However, they do not know when the correct tyres will come into stock. Will be contacting them in the week for an update. Great video as usual!

I am learning the hard way that NOTHING is under warranty. I have had my Kaabo scooter for 3 months, and so far; 1/ The front whole arm had to be replaced because the stem was faulty, I had to pay £160 and not under warranty. 2/ I am constantly finding screws falling out 3/ My front brake caliper has fallen off with the screw holes holding it on having no thread and being completely smooth. Got scooter on finance and now I wish I never bought this cheap built product by Kaabo and if you read up the build quality is a common issue. I recommend everyone to avoid, as no matter how it goes wrong you are never covered by warranty.
Cracking ride and great scenery too. I am off out tommorrow for a 25 mile ride to go metal detecting so hope my new girl (Dualtron Mini) will get me home after the hunt. Only single motor as you know unlike your dual motor beast but she packs some power in that one motor with a 1450W peak output
Still so torn between this and Dualtron spider, power vs portability. Enjoying your videos and the fun you’re having. As soon as either version bring an ip rating out it will be the one I go for first
Your vids are very helpful as there’s not much out there as the scooter is so new. I was wondering about buying spare tyres as I’ve not seen anything on the Kaabo websites.
Me and my gf would love to have one...but we are concerned about the police stopping us...watching this video has made us think are we actually allowed to ride it or not?...great video to watch and enjoyed watching it 🙏👍🏼😄

This depends completely on where you purchased from. Everyone should always make sure to tighten all bolts and regularly maintain your vehicle. Kaabo scooters stem issue has been fixed with the updated models, so they are better now.
@@DanceySteveYNWA Can you share any information in regards to the issues being resolved on the newer models? An article or a link to something that provides the insight. I'm not trying to question you, I am interested in knowing what they have done to fix it

How do you change the tires on the mantis 8. I can’t find any information on this anywhere. It’s almost as if no one has ever changed one. I’m considering getting this scooter until now because the most wearable part is such a mystery and why are the tires readily available ?
I had to order new tyres from alie express, took about a week to arrive to the UK, then got new back tyre fitted at repair shop I found for £20 quid. Because I couldn't get the bolts off
Hello mate, great job on your videos, I have a slight dilemma and was wondering whether you could advise. I live just outside of central London and currently own a standard M365 e-scooter I bought used off facebook for £295. It's lack of power for climbing any gradient and short range however has resulted in me looking to spend extra on a more powerful scooter for getting around to work/uni etc, with my longest trip being 7 miles each way to work. My initial choice was the Mantis Lite Plus but after watching your videos on this dual motor Mantis 8, the single motor is out of the question. The only issue is, this £1165 Mantis 8 is completely sold out and Kaboo told me they're due to receive more stock in a few weeks. The Kaboo Mantis Pro at £1900 is also an option but not sure whether its worth spending the extra £735 for a bit more range and power. I weigh around 90kg and also have decent hills in the area. If you were in the same boat, would you wait for the Mantis 8 to become available and save £750 whilst slightly compromising on speed and range or go all out on the Mantis Pro? Cheers!
Hi mate, if I had the funds for either one of them I would probably go with the Pro just for that extra range but also not so portable, I know they have the mini pro available soon with a larger batt and mini motors electronics, but also they do a Skywalker 10S+ (dual 1000w) bigger battery than the mini and really cheap compared to the mantis pro, I think that’s also out of stock at the moment 🛴👍
Charge and Scoot Thanks for the fast reply, I have noticed the Mini Pro in stock on another website for 1.6k which isn’t too bad and in terms of the Skywalker, although the specs are great, I don’t feel as though it looks anywhere near as good as the mini and mantis pro haha. I have actually been communicating with a private seller in regards to his all black Kaabo Mantis GT he’s got for sale with 700 km on the clock for £1300 which I may go see tomorrow. That mileage is slightly off putting though as not sure how long these scooters last far for.
Hiya I’ve watched all your videos on both the lite model and the mini. Im looking to upgrade as I’m an M365 owner but I want more speed and range at a good price I was just wondering what’s the acceleration like on the Kaaba lite? And would you recommend it? Also I weigh about 70 kg as I know weigh is a factor
Weight is a massive factor to overall range, speed and what the scooter can manage, yes I would recommend the Lite as after a M365 Pro it felt so much better and took me up anything, but saying that since I got this dual 800w, I would miss the extra power of the second motor and to be honest it not that much more ££'s than the lite plus
Totally agree, get the mantis mini with dual motors, forget the lite plus. I had the lite but went for the mini because of dual power. Sooo much better
I suppose it’s possible but would cost a lot for the branded bigger battery and also wouldn’t have the other extras like mini motors controller and display that you can get for a few hundred more..👍
I suppose it depends on many factors including speed, weight, terrain, riding style and even temperature but I am happy with that kind of range with my rides, if your unsure if it’s right or not I would probably check yours in different places and try in different modes etc and also check battery reaches about 54.6V when charged and also change battery cutoff to 40V which I was advised to do from kaabouk (was set to 42.5)👍
I only sold it to put the money towards this wolf warrior that I’ve got now, but no complaints with the mantis mini in fact that’s what made me want more and get this wolf

Before it went in, if was riding strait my handlebars were pointing 20 degrees to the left. It is an issue I wish I knew before buying it, as I bought it on Klarna finance and am now paying for something unfit to ride
