Your RK9 video on the Kaabo Mantis 8, is the video that made me decide to pull the trigger on a new electric scooter. I now own 3, plus gifted one to my sons girlfriends son. That way we all have something to ride. I love it. My current fave ride is my new Vsett 10 plus. 😊 I’m a 56 year old grandma and am going to see on be teaching my 5 year old granddaughter to ride a non electric scooter. 😊
56????! and riding a mantis 8 woah your that one cool grandma i wish i had a grandma but hey you are cool as heck 56 and riding a kaabo mantis 8 Keep riding Grandma 😂❤
Starting right off with the Klima! I bought mine because of you and love it so much! Can't thank you enough for that recommendation even a year later and i put over 1k miles on it.
Your praise of a NAMI KLIMA pushed my decision to buy one for myself. I have over 1800 miles on it, changed the tires to PMTs, added a cool auxiliary light and I still LOVE it.
@@MRfoerest Just break sensor issues...If that's still an issue. I don't want to jinx, but the scooter has been nothing but reliable... No squeaks or knocks... Great scooter. I have put new wider carbon handle bars, and new neck, bag for front bar, Phone holder, left mirror, and small speaker.
Looks cool. I just ordered the Ausom Gallop. Scooter can't wait. I had the varla Pegasus put 4600 miles on it and was still going strong. Keep up the good work.
Hey Rk9. Rides. Do you know what kind of springs that the Ausom Gallup has I only had my scooter two weeks in the front spring is leaking oil. Do you know where I can order the springs that will fit the gallop. Look forward to your response thank you.
@@chrisdudley8366 I think you will have more luck looking for replacement shocks for the TItan Unicool counterpart. Don't quite remember exactly which Titan model, but I'd imagine it would be much easier to find components for said model or similar models.
I don't want to sound like a no life but I've literally watched all your videos im hooked on your channel lmao. I hope you upload more often, I enjoy your ESG videos too!
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now because i like your pace, styling, content and your voice is incredibly soothing. I have learned almost everything I know about riding through your videos. I’m wandering do you have any advanced tips and tricks for avid riders? I have watched your tips video many times but it seems more aimed at newbie riders with just the basics covered. I hope one day you can make a video on how you handle obstacles at higher speed, weight distribution, cornering with ease and possibly a fancy looking trick thrown in too.
I've been watching your videos for several months now and I got my Varla Pegasus based on your reviews. I hope you put some nice trails on your videos now that your in Vegas. My son saw some trails he'd like to try on S. Fort Apache/215 yesterday when we were visiting family on that side of town.
Hell yeah, love to that full Varla lineup there! I've always owned GOTRAX scooters, but my GX2 got stolen a few weeks ago :( New replacement scooter I just ordered is a Varla Eagle One 2.0, decided to go with it after watching your review on it!
I have just under 1000 miles on the discontinued, flawed Glion Dolly XL because its very repairable and the dolly function is great for *actual* work commuting. Not the best for joyriding, but easily my most practical scooter.
I remember you riding a STORM. I just got one from VORO about 2 months back. Lotta scooter there. I also bought the newest 72v 35 ah battery with insulated pins. While it’s a handful to operate in higher settings, I do Uber Eats on speed 2 and 50% power in P settings. Really good range. The one I remember you riding I think was a loaner… PS VORO had a great sale on DTs plus I got another $300 off with a code from Electric Scooter Academy which, after tax, put it at just over $3000.
Nice line up of scooters! I only have 2 scooters. The Eagle One 2.0 and the Ninebot Max G30. Purchased the G30 because of the build quality and I purchased the Eagle One because of the hill climbing abilities.
Great vid, so I think for. A regular enthusiast 3 is all you need a long range allrounder, a guest one, lol, and a off road one, currently have a city pro, OKAI es20, looking at the inokim, I wish I can try the dualtrons before I buy those fluid looks solid as well, keep em coming……..
I hope nami company releases new models i would like to see new ones this year. Be cool if they released like a 82 volt with like 12 or 13 inch wheels the bigger the wheel the more comfort on the road.
6:30 can only get a couple hundred dollars for that scooter!?? In San Diego almost every scooter listed on offer up is more than what you can buy them shipped online for. Of course you haggle down a bit but they typically still want msrp or close to it for their used scooters🙄
Great review. I like smaller wheel lightweight low to the ground comfortable fast scooters. Which of your top scooters would you recommend? Klima, Mantis, Pegasus, NIU?
I recently purchased a Q7PRO on eBay. Have you checked that model out ? It's fast and pretty stable but no real information on how to adjust P settings. Having issues with Red triangle with! Symbol? Trying to get resolved.
@rk9 rides What is the best cheap scooter you can recommend in terms of having decent wheel suspension and can last a few years? I am ideally looking for something in the 300-400 price range
Only fitting that i get an electric scooter now, being that i spent most of my childhood and even highschool years doing all sorts of tricks on kick scooters Lol
@@RK9Rides I knew it! I hope they make an update for it to relax on its very tenacious head tracking. It's kind of a telltale sign because of how it moves the frame for the slightest of head bobs.
Hi there! Please help me to choose right scooter. I try to find a best light weight, fun, with good suspension scooter. I have checked around 40 models and choose only 3 of them. Mantis 8 or 10. Dualtron raptor 2 or eagle. My aim is jump a lot of bumps, aggressive ride in park dirt roads. And here in Ukraine we have a bad asphalte with a lot of holes and i am scary to lose all my teeth. Raptor 2 has the best perfomance compare to a weight of just 22kg (48lbs). But... it has only 8 inch tiers which i scary with out bad roads... But it also goes iwth rubber suspension which is good for jumping but again seems bad for raod as dualtron comes with airless tires. Mantis 8 has spring suspensions nad + 3 kg. But Mantis 10 as Dualtron eagle, comes with 10 inch tiers but 30 kg (66lbs) which is a huge difference and i am just not sure... spring suspensions and + kg weight or runbber suspensions light weight....
I have had the Nami klima max for about 6 months. I love it but am thinking about upgrading to the burne max 2. Do you think it's worth it. I don't think I actually need it I just like the idea of having the best of the best.
If you don't care about weight or size then I think the Burn-E 2 Max is very worth it. That is my favorite scooter to ride and only gets beat out by the Klima because of the portability aspect
Shopping for my first scooter, I'm considering a Turboant, do you recommend the brand? I just want a casual commuter, nothing off-road, speed-demon hardcore stuff, and below $500
Why not more scooters over 50mph? Is it that you don't trust scooters at the high speed? Also, think of doing a custom scooter build based on all the knowledge and experience you have with scooters?
