Elisa, you look FANTASTIC!!!!! I tried transitioning earlier this year and omg. I was terrified because the grey made me look SO MUCH older (I'm 41)..... but after watching this video, I went back to see some of your previous ones and I realised it's not the grey that makes us look older, it's the damn transition. You look STUNNING with your 100% virgin hair!!! And that black strike in the front? Amazing! So now I know it's just the transition that is terrible (lol), I really need to try again and hang in there for 2 years in order to be dye free FOREVER. ♥
Oh dear, this is not a colour thing. I LOVE MY TRANSITION. At no time did I feel I looked older. BUT I am 53 so looking for me older is just part of being an aging human. At 41 I would never have accepted to look older because I am not supposed to at that age. Why do you want to let go of the dye?
Your hair is gorgeous I love the black streak at the front and how it is dark underneath a truly rocking colour combination courtesy of mother nature!! Truly beautiful x
Hi Elisa!... You look stunning! I'm at my 13th month dye free, and I'll never never go back either,... like you, I like my hair long as well. Watching your journey has helped me inmensly.... I'm loving it, I cant wait until it's all grown out!!
I still love how you continue to help all of us to embrace our authenticity and transitioning to Gray hair. Your confidence and sharing your story really helped me to never dye again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Elisa!! 💝💝💝💝
You did it! I’m 8 months in and having fun watching friends reactions that haven’t seen me in a while. I never realized how much people pay attention to hair!
I'm five months in feeling much better about the decision to transition. But my hair is coming in dark from 2inches back with two white streaks in front. It is fascinating. Yours turned out beautiful. I only hope to be so lucky.
Woughhouuuu! You’ve done it! Today is my first anniversary of being dye-free and I am still in love with my hair!! I’m not so silver that I thought, but my hair is so strong and healthy that I will never go back again.
I don't regret dying my hair all those years BUUUUUUT if I hadn't I would have had soft luscious hair for much longer in my life. But hey! It is what it is :)
Elisa you are the best! You are rocking the gray so well. I love how you take away the taboo of having gray hair and encourage us to have the choice of keeping or ditching the dye. Keep on rocking!!
Your hair is beautiful and so are you! I love your natural color and the health of your hair is phenomenal. Congratulations and thank you for inspiring. 9 months and going strong! 💕🙏🏻🙏🏻. Can’t wait to watch your hair grow! I’m sure it will just get more beautiful with time! 😍
i cant believe its the final update!!! its about 16 months for me and u were one of the women that gave me the confidence and inspiration to do it!! congrats to us!!
Thanks for sharing your important journey. I have gotten so much helpful information and encouragement from you! I'm in my 9th month of transition and I"m not even close to birthing this baby. But I'm determined to keep going because of you and others who are brave and want to stop spending time and money on a head full of chemicals. Thanks!!!
Elisa just seen your Facebook post and so sorry to hear about your life difficulties and trauma at the moment . I've loved everything you've done on UA-cam so thank! you are my inspiration love to you as always Angie from UK x 💋
Looooove your videos and your hair. I like the "black patches" in the front... they frame your face and give a "chiaroscuro" effect, and as for your coarse hair, it gives you a nice "mat effect" that matches your skin... All these little details make you "you"... Well done Elisa!
Good for you for not listening to those suggestions on your color. I LOVE it! I love the “peek-a-boo” color you have going. People pay so much money for that. You inspire me on my journey.
Bravo!!! Congratulations!!! Bravissima!!! Thank you for sharing your updates on your grey hair journey, you've been such an inspiration to me! I'm 10 months in and I've been watching your videos since the beginning of my transition. And I couldn't agree more: when you've gone through such a long journey, walking it patiently step by step, day after day, there is just no way to put any colour back on your hair!!
I sooo much relate to your video. I dyed my hair for 30 years as a previous very dark brown haired woman. I transitioned like you with a silver last dye job with Olaplex. It is sooo liberating to be who I really am, you are soooo right....noooo mor hiding! And Ive never gotten more compliments in my life on my silver hair. thank you thank you thank you for supporting us!
Elisa, congrats, your hair is really beautiful. I also like long hair, but a little further on my transition, it's quite sure that I'll have them cut as you have had yours. So I'm a little anxious about that, but it's ok, because I'm getting a fan of my gray hair and hair grows. Besides, you are a lovely inspiration.
Thank you for braving your transition in such a scary way! The internet!! I still have a year to go and seeing you through to the end will help get me to my goal. ❤️
Your hair looks great! I laughed when I saw your reaction to suggestions that you get streaks, hilarious! I’m still on the journey and people tell me I can do this colour or that colour, they seem unable to get the concept of no more colour! Thanks for sharing your journey, it’s encouraging.
You are such a joy, I'm so glad I found your channel and was allowed to go on the journey with you, I've been letting my hair gray also. Silver ladies rock and nobody will ever let us feel bad about our choice. Thank you !!
I love those black streaks particularly the front pieces it adds definition ! I'm in month 14 and I've also found my hair growing out is a real mix of dark , grey and white combo ! You are my inspiration as you probably know ! Love and hugs Angie from UK x 💋
I love your hair! I just grew out all my color too. I don’t remember the last time I colored it, but my hair grows very fast and I just kept cutting about 3 inches off every 3 months. It’s about your length now only with some layers and long bangs tapered. I LOVE my color! Grays, silver, and black. I feel totally liberated!! No move slave to root management!!! It healthy looking and I’m not putting chemicals on my head!!!
Elisa ..Angie here again this video made me look again at a April 2017 video of yours and got me thinking wouldn't it be great to see a time lapse video of your full grey hair transition to inspire others ! Just a thought ? Angie x 💋
You look perfect the way you are. Congratulations on getting rid of all the dyed hair and having such a lovely natural look. I am only 4 months into this process, I started on my 70th birthday, and already it's driving me crazy. But I will see this through. I haven't seen my natural color in more than 30 years. Thank you Elisa for all the inspiration you give just by being the wonderful woman you are. God bless. Big hug from Italy.
You look amaizing, I am also in my 10 months of transitioning to grey hair, I am in my 30s and I feel so good, so relieved that I don't have to use hair dye anymore, ( I used to dye my hair with henna in the past 8 years which as far as I could see it dried my hair really badly). I have been watching most of your videos and I am a bit "jealous" that my hair doesn't grow as fast as yours. But , as I said, you look stunning and I am waiting to see my results after one more year.
Congratulations on reaching your goal! I, too, was dying my hair to hide - and to please others. I stopped to be kind to myself and am so happy with the result. I did not get the result I expected, which was a lot of gray hair, but that is ok. A little gray and overall softening is nice, too.
Love your hair and your channel. I have been dye free since February 2012, I love rocking my white and silver pixie ♡ Have a great weekend, I look forward to your next video:)
I am 6 months in transitioning, I have one more year to go to reach your lenght. Thank you Elisa for your support to us all soon-wanna-be silver sisters. You are an inspiration Elisa! Gros bisous de la rive-sud xx ;-)
I am so grateful to find you! I just started my transition and my demarcation line of grey and dark brown hair is glaring! like you I am tired of my coloring my hair and not being authentic in my late 40s. You are very inspiring! Thank you!
Absolutely stunning. I’ve been following you for a year and I love love love the result and the natural black looks amazing...your hair looks healthy and fresh. Well done on your patience 🙌🏻 💕
Congratulations on transitioning to your natural colour. I’m 10 months in and enjoying the journey. You are such an inspiration I’m going to share this video with my sister as she is thinking about going natural. Thanks Elisa! ❤️❤️❤️😊
Congratulations completing your transition. I'm so happy with my own grey hair. Started my journey 4 years ago and couldn't be more pleased with the results.
Elisa, you look beautiful. What a journey! I'm done with mine too and like you I'm extremely happy! Wow. How liberating! Thank you for your encouragement throughout the process. It totally helped me. Besos Ali from Florida
The most beautiful person I have come across and the hair and its color is an added quality... a good soul shines through the body and that’s exactly how you shine. Keep shining!!
Wowzers and congrats! I'm at the 16 month and you have been my inspiration to keep going. I couldn't do what you did due to medical reasons but even with the oleplex doing color my hair hit a point where breakage still occurred. Like you, so surprised at the color and I have patches of strawberry blond- color I was as a kid growing back in. So many women don't realize that over time you can become allergic to hair color and baldness will result! I have thick, course curly hair so keeping hair healthy I rarely blow out- but I did today cause I knew I was going to watch your video and I'm glad I did! It will probably be till Feb 2019 before all the color is out because I don't want to cut it much shorter- and I've got to say you kept me focused and upbeat on my journey and I am eternally grateful because of you.
it looks amazing, you are very beautiful and with long hair you will be stunning! Congratulations on the end of your transition, enjoy your beautiful grey natural healthy hair my silver sister!
Absolutely stunning. Im from South Africa. I can absolutely relate to your journey. It wasn't easy transitioning at a younger age. I have natural virgin hair now and accepting my look. Love your words of encouragement❤
I am so happy for you and I have been by your side every step of the way. I am only at my six month mark and am so excited. That person that told you to put some black streaks in your hair is "out of their mind" crazy!!! Love you Elisa!!! Keep rockin!
Your new cut looks great, it really looks so sophisticated! I am also dye free now and I also developed a black streak right in the front 😃😃. Love your content!
You are such an inspiration and helper for me - thanks for sharing !!! My transition is now 9 months! You look awesome ! And even if you keep telling you love long hair - this length is just perfect - I know - not for you 😜❤️
I was thinking I looked “younger” and at 55yrs old that started feeling ridiculous. It suddenly occurred to me I could go natural and stop spending the money every 3-4 weeks covering silver.
@@pinam2299 same over here. I am 27 and I have only a view silver hair since I was 13 but I chose to grow out my red henna hair when I was 24 because I wanted to be myselfe again 💖
your hair is gorgeous!...I have been on my letting go of the dye journey since March 2018 I had hair to my shoulders at the time and within the first month I wanted to give up...I hated the roots...I wanted the silver to come in but I hated the way it looked and my husband was all for the grey he really wanted to see it ...so when i was childishly crying about how I was looking (Im a woman who is very into hair and makeup and fashion) he told me to cut it off so I wouldnt see the big difference...he even found a pixie cut online and told me how beautiful i would look in it...it was FOR ME the only way to do it...so I cut it off and havent looked back since...I am now letting the pixie grow out and only have the very tips on my bangs with dye left so 1 more trim and I will be all virgin too...now if my hair was longer I would be thrilled lol...I found your videos because i went dye free and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel ...I am also Canadian I am in PEI!
Elisa...congratulations on finishing your gray hair transition! I'm about 7 months in. I'm doing pretty well. Here or there I have a day where I'm just feeling like I look old and ugly, but most days I'm doing alright. Thanks for your wonderful encouragement for all of us that are on this journey!
Oh Joann. Now that I am all grey I don't always feel so fresh. Especially now that winter is around the corner and I tend to wear a lot of black. Little by little I switching black sweater for bright primary colour sweaters that help me look best. I wear a lot of white also with illuminate my face. Still tweaking things around, hehehe :)
Thank you Elisa for being such an inspiration. You are beautiful, inside and out! Thanks to you I'm 9 months in now, white in the front and darker in the back with lots of highlights down below the silver. It hasn't been easy but now I love it and I love not having to 'fix' myself to be socially pleasing! I feel much better just being me. How great is it not to have to worry about the grey roots showing! So much worth/adequacy tied to a hairline. There is a liberation, an ease and a gravitas now that feels whole and authentic. There is so much more to hair, it turns out, than hair! Bless you! :)
You look gorgeous ❤️. It’s been an inspiration watching you go through transition . I’m at 19 months grow out. I’ve needed all the inspiration I could get! Lol
Elisa, you really are an inspiration to me. I am so moved by your message here. You are fully transitioned and what a beautiful sight you are. Like you, I am not interested in putting streaks in my grey hair just so that I can look attractive(so they say). I am very happy that I am fully transitioned and whoever has a problem with my grey hair - well its their problem. My eldest daughter says that if I am to attend her graduation then I must dye my hair - I guess I wont be attending her graduation then. Lol. I was in the shop the other day and I heard a little child behind me say "granny". Well, you know what - I embraced that. I turned around and hugged her. Truth be told, I was in no way offended by this little child who spoke the truth. Granted that day my hair was quite untidy and I was a little tired. Still, I love my grey hair.
You are so beautiful and you have inspired me to start my own transition to grey. For me it is that I am just tired of dying it and I want to be more of my authentic self. I don't know how it will look but it will be me. What I can see of my "real" hair is a pretty silvery white. It is wirery but I don't really care. Until I do some more research on how I want to do this, I am just letting it grow out. I don't like the way this looks so I wear hats - mostly berets - when I go out. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I love your videos, your fashion, and your loving positive attitude. Many kisses to you.
I talked my 18 year old daughter into transitioning her blonde highlighted hair to natural. As far as I know she doesn't have any gray yet. I got my gray hair at 25. She told me I'll do it for the winter. So far she is doing it but will probably go back to blonde at some point. I was just surprised she went along with it. i think it more she doesn't want to spend the money or take the time to do it than me thinking it is a good idea. I noticed her hair grows super fast and that is the blessing of being young.
I am 1/2 Italian and my hair is almost exactly the same color as yours now, as well as back in the day. Your hair is gloriously thick, though, and mine is thin but I can make it work. I, too, was hiding and am so free with my salt n pepper 💓
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Your AMAZING ♥️ I'm in transition.... Yes it's hard and takes a long time! But I'm doing it, I'm at least 4 to 6 months! But I bleached it platinum over a year then finally decided to go all the way.... Your an inspiration!
Love your hair..People who are using dark hair dyes every 6 weeks when they reach a certain age it just doesn't look natural. The beauty of letting your hair grow out natural is that it has multiple colors which you can't get from a bottle. Let's face it ladies when we reach a certain age it's the personality that will make you look young. To see a woman in her 60's 70's & 80's with that harsh dark bottled hair color it's just not that flattering and trust me your not fooling anybody. Love your Videos Elisa keep up the good work!!
Congratulations!! You look beautiful! You have been such an inspiration to me. I am also going the bleach route to transition. It's so very interesting to see what my natural color is now since I haven't seen my virgin hair in probably 25 years! Mine is coming in pretty dark too which is surprising to me. I'm white at the temples and then sort of a blend of salt and pepper everywhere else. I think I will probably do one or two more very minimal blending highlights just on the top because I am totally blonde on the bottom and it looks weird to me with the dark on top. For some reason I was convinced I had much more silver than what I actually do so I probably went to light with the bleach. Oh well, no regrets. I did not want to be a slave to dyeing my hair any longer. I'm ready to just be me and seeing confident women like you who are rocking the gray has been so helpful. Thank you, Elisa for sharing your journey with us.
Beautiful. Love the new cut! I , too, am fully transitioned... and love it! Great video. Grow your hair if you prefer it that way... but, honestly. THIS LENGTH LOOKS GLORIOUS on you... and it is long... but looking forward to see your upcoming even longer locks. You are so gorgeous, anything and any hairstyle would, surely, look good on you. (However, LoL! IMO... THIS style, including length, does make you look quite YOUNG... as well as great! 😉.) -Yet, to thine on self be true! Have a wonderful weekend!
I luv ya girlie! Happy Holidays to you and your beautiful family. Whoop Whoop Wiggle Wiggle! Many happy thoughts thrown your way for meeting your goal Elisa!!
You look absolutely amazing! Thank you for all your positive videos, I love them! Patience is not my favorite virtue, but it may be after my grey transition lol!
Congrats on your "transition" journey. I have grown mine out for 15 months now and I laughed so much when you said you would never put any color in your hair now after taking all that time to grow out the color!!!! I agree. I finally have all my own hair so never again for color too! Lol
I’m new to ur vlog n’ I luv it ♥️ I’m in d’ same boat. I used to dye my hair like 20 years, then come new year this year 2019, I got tired of dying my hair, so I said enough! Coz’ it’s like every two weeks I torture my hair n’ I feel like I’m depriving it of its natural growth n’ color. So now, its been 3-4mos n’ I’m just patiently waiting for those grey/silver hair to come out n’ grow naturally. Thank ü Elisa in Montreal I really luv n’ enjoyed watching ü on UA-cam 👍🏻 Have a great day
Elisa, you look FANTASTIC!!!!! I tried transitioning earlier this year and omg. You did it! I’m 8 months in and having fun watching friends reactions that haven’t seen me in a while. I never realized how much people pay attention to hair!
LOL I know! But the people I see they ask why would I ever dye my hair grey. Sigh :)
Beautiful color, beautiful lady.....you're totally free now. Free of the worry of having to constantly check if grey roots are showing! All the best!
I'm five months in feeling much better about the decision to transition. But my hair is coming in dark from 2inches back with two white streaks in front. It is fascinating. Yours turned out beautiful. I only hope to be so lucky.

I love your black patch! It adds definition to your face. I have white patches by my face. Sometimes I feel washed out. But I still love my hair.
Can we say black highlight? 😉
Congratulations on transitioning to your natural colour. I’m 10 months in and enjoying the journey. You are such an inspiration I’m going to share this video with my sister as she is thinking about going natural. Thanks Elisa! ❤️❤️❤️😊

Thank you ever so much:)
Thank you Linda :)
Your new cut looks great, it really looks so sophisticated! I am also dye free now and I also developed a black streak right in the front 😃😃. Love your content!
You are such an inspiration and helper for me - thanks for sharing !!! My transition is now 9 months! You look awesome ! And even if you keep telling you love long hair - this length is just perfect - I know - not for you 😜❤️
Gorgeous!!!!!! I love it so happy you made it!!!! Preach Girl love It!!!!!! 🖤🌪👊🏻
I was thinking I looked “younger” and at 55yrs old that started feeling ridiculous. It suddenly occurred to me I could go natural and stop spending the money every 3-4 weeks covering silver.
In 12 months I saved $1700.00 :)
@@elisaberrinigomez2946 what? that is a lot wow! 💪
I felt the same. I just want to feel like myself
Love love love!!!!! Nothing like the natural colors that are coming from your head, like a beautiful cat. Hugs from San Diego mon ami
Bless you! :)
so very well said
55.5 here and I'm about 3 inches into growing out my gray and I hate it. I've dyed my hair for 25 years and want to go natural.
Thanks for the boost!
YAY!!! It and you are just beautiful ! I love the dark patch in front and there layer underneath, it looks awesome. 😊
Elisa you ROCK, I just love your spirit 😘
It looks like you got it dyed that way! looks FAB!!
You look gorgeous ❤️. It’s been an inspiration watching you go through transition . I’m at 19 months grow out.
I’ve needed all the inspiration I could get! Lol
You look gorgeous and your hair is beautiful! I’ve been letting my hair grow out since April and I’m loving my silver hair.
You look amazing. Thanks for sharing. I am at the 5 month stage and this video has given me the inspiration to carry on.
I am glad to hear that you have found a happy solution :)
Very pretty Elisa! Wishing you all the best!
Rob yN Thank you 😊
You are so beautiful and you have inspired me to start my own transition to grey.
Yessssss! I’m 3 months into my gray transition. I am also looking forward to stop hiding!
Michelle Graham You already are not hiding :)
Great job Elisa!
I am 1/2 Italian and my hair is almost exactly the same color as yours now, as well as back in the day. Your hair is gloriously thick, though, and mine is thin but I can make it work. I, too, was hiding and am so free with my salt n pepper 💓
Big hugs beautiful :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your AMAZING ♥️
I'm in transition....
I agree no black streaks your hair looks beautully natural as is❤
-Yet, to thine on self be true! Have a wonderful weekend!
I luv ya girlie! Happy Holidays to you and your beautiful family. Whoop Whoop Wiggle Wiggle! Many happy thoughts thrown your way for meeting your goal Elisa!!
Gorgeous!!! It really is stunning on you!!
Emma MacGregor Thank you Emma :)
You look absolutely amazing! Thank you for all your positive videos, I love them! Patience is not my favorite virtue, but it may be after my grey transition lol!
Hmmmmm nope :) LOL
Congrats on your "transition" journey. I have grown mine out for 15 months now and I laughed so much when you said you would never put any color in your hair now after taking all that time to grow out the color!!!! I agree. I finally have all my own hair so never again for color too! Lol
Your hair is beautiful, your natural colour and the cut ⚘⚘⚘
I can't wait to see what your hair will look like long!
Elisa, you look gorgeous !!! Xxoo ❤ 😙
You look beautiful!!! I wish I could be as brave ;( I
you have the most beautiful hair ever!!! I am growing my grey hair longer too! love you Elisa !!!
Thank ü Elisa in Montreal I really luv n’ enjoyed watching ü on UA-cam 👍🏻 Have a great day
Yeps, I love it!
Congratulations!!!!.... job well done..... u look great. ❤️💕
