- Perform an engine swap on a BMW 750 LI X Dr. ordered the engine and realize that the engine that I purchased was not for an X Dr. I’m going to have to swap out the oil pan and the wire harness and some other components to make the new engine compatible with the vehicle

As per BMW the job labor hrs for a long block R&R is 24.9 hrs with my labor rate before taxes $1992

I have 2014 650ix 4.4 n63 awd what did you do about the ac compresser. You take it alose from the motor or jut let freeon out and left it on tillyou got the engine out

Yes
Taking an x-drive N63 engine out without tranny and lift is simply the WORST NIGHTMARE anyone mechanic can imagine. Glad someone is showing that is possible. You are about 1/4 of the whole process. There will be a lot of things to swap out and when u are eventually able to start the engine, there will be codes and LEAKS EVERYWHERE that if you are lucky, you can fix it without taking the engine out. GOOD LUCK.

How do you turn the crank I’m confused ?.
Good evening, you have to get to the crank bolt and manually turn the crank if the transmission is still connected to the vehicle, you have to make sure that the vehicle is in neutral. Don’t forget it’s an electronic shift control unit so you would have to make sure that the vehicle has power turn the key on, put the vehicle in neutral, and then you should be able to turn the crank. 4803002581 Jus4foreign my friends call me Juice
