"I've seen this show hundreds of times and it was great to be able to experience it for the first time through your eyes" This is one of the best thing about reaction channels. And when you find ones you REALLY like, the genuine ones, you keep coming back 👍
Fantastic guys, just what I needed! Laughed my arse off. His politics were always the same. People didn't realise that due to the harshness of his humour. Saw him live once about 12 or 13 years ago. Class. You guys would LOVE Still Game. The best Scottish comedy of all time. Brilliant, cheers!!
Frankie's politics is one of the things I most admire about him: he's on the record saying that he's "more left wing than Noam Chomsky". Frankie Boyle's New World Order is a political talk show that he did for 4 or 5 seasons… it should still be available on youtoob.
I always get annoyed by those people who talk about Frankie's politics becoming woke recently. No it hasn't. He has always been a committed socialist and has been for many years throughout his comedy career. However, as a great comedian he is not afraid to tell jokes against all sides, left and right. Despite his long standing left wing politics he is an equal opportunities offender. As long as the joke is worth it he'll tell it. I find it fascinating that just because his jokes are not PC some assumed he must be right wing and are disappointed he isn't. What about Jimmy Carr and Ricky Gervais, hardly PC but also hardly right wing.
The same idiots say the same thing about George Carlin. He today would be considered "woke". I've also seen conservative right wingers claiming he was right wing, just because he wasn't PC, when in actual fact he was an anarchist who was very much left leaning.
The difference being is that Ricky Gervais and Jimmy Carr don't write political articles (at least to my knowledge), unlike Frankie. On his next tour if he doesn't shit all over the SNP after all of the corruption and scandal information that's come out then he's a hypocrite.
It's not what he thinks about economics that people are annoyed by. It's the fact that he's in favour of censorship of anyone but himself. And yes, he's become completely unfunny the last five years.
I've lived abroad for 26 years and have more Canadian friends than anyone else, as I'm a silly c**t and Canadians get our comedy, everyone else is about 3-5 seconds behind. Proper laugh, luv you 2, all the best

This was so enjoyable to rewatch with this couple who have a wonderfully robust sense of humour, and Boyle is refreshingly candid about the widespread psychopathy among politicians. It's a relief to hear truths couched within such brilliant comedy. Boyle is a deadly marksman for the hypocrites of this world. This channel was a nice discovery and these reactors are great company.
Both Frankie's parents are from a rural village in Donegal, here in the NW of Ireland. My partner is from Donegal, and my parents live there. I've heard Frankie say that his humour is almost the polar opposite in some ways of the culture there - his parents wouldn't ever say anything too negative about their neighbours. Which I completely relate to. George Carlin, too - his dad was born in rural Donegal and his mother's folks were Irish. There's a pattern there.
Love watching you two reacting to my favourite comedian. Frankie is an incredible force of nature who uses comedy to speak truth to power. Love you Canada 🍁.
