It's interesting in a way, because he is ultra woke now, but how does that reconcile with him making his fortune and his entire reputation with an act that was the polar opposite? I'd be interested in his reckoning on that. Ah well, the comedy he used to do is legendary and bears multiple rewatches.

I agree with him. Ricky Gervais is a wannabe Frankie Boyle. But comes off like that short kid in school who was held back 2 years and thinks he knows more about any topic than everyone around him.
Frankie has become political though and he should stick to comedy, he criticises Gervais for being political, which is hypocritical. I also think Gervais should stick to comedy, in one of his Golden Globes videos he tells the actors not to make political speeches because they know nothing about the real world but then he does the exact same thing himself.
Frankie did a show about the British and slavery that was reasonable as far as it went but he did not mention the British Crusade against slavery which cost Britain a fortune and effectively ended slavery in the western hemisphere.
