The Yuuzhan Vong in this episode, are in their prime. So they're still in their own galaxy, but have not fought the devestating Cremlevian War. The Flood will randomly infect a single planet within the Yuuzhan Vong Galaxy - and will progress however they see fit. Can the united Yuuzhan Vong survive the Flood? Alien vs Parasite. Yuuzhan Vong vs Flood. Star Wars vs Halo. Expanded Universe vs canon. Which side will come out on top? Find out on today's episode of Halo vs Star Wars: Galactic Versus.
For those wondering, the Yuuzhan Vong appear only in the Star Wars Legends Expanded Universe, primarily in the Yuuzhan Vong War / Invasion arcs within the New Jedi Order. The Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy and did a great deal of damage, before the Galaxy united to fight them. The flood first appeared in Halo CE, but have been featured in Halo 2 and Halo 3, along with Halo Wars.

I hate to say it, but the Flood would win. Everything from the soldiers to the guns could be turned by the flood.
A lot of people seem to forget in halo three there's this one soldier I don't member his name but he couldn't be infected by the flood it shows that when Master can you find them against the door not infected like the other man of him he was a human too so it has nothing to do with species it's a genotype he also wasn't a Spartan he was a regular soldier he was obviously killed but not infected
dragon greek That soldier was Sergeant Major Avery Johnson. One of the baddest muthas in the Halo galaxy. And he had been heavily altered in an early SPARTAN program attempt. Not a lot of results in regards to physical augmentation, but it did give him his Flood immunity. On accident, by the way. While the Vong could figure this out, that fact that EVERYTHING they use is organic is a problem because everything can feed the Flood. Even if the Vong make themselves immune to the Flood, they can’t immediately do that to all of their stuff.

Even if the Vong were skilled enough to figure out the Flood how could they ever get the chance to study/ manipulate it? The Flood is actively hostile even at a cellular level and all the Vong's tech is made of yummy biomass. That's like trying to manipulate fire when all your tools are made of paper.

When you start growing ships and biologically changing life forms into weapons, that's some next level shit.... Then you realize the flood infects and takes over anything with a nervous system then I think it's a buffet not a battle. Lol
Fun fact when a gravemind is formed it gains all the memories and knowledge of the previous Gravemind. So as long as one is formed its automatically infinitely more intelligent than pretty much everyone. And knows all the tactics to take down foes in various situations.

It works based on the concept of neural physics. As in everything is technically alive to a degree. Yeah it's crazy for sure. But an interesting concept. If you've played halo infinite. I won't spoil it but something the weapon says points to this during a certain battle. About something being sentient.

Precursors can move and shape galaxies. Keymind Flood is basically a Precursor's new form. It can use Star Roads to link every planet in the galaxy and crush them simultaneously(IsoDidact saw 9 systems been obliterated instantly). Precursors, who are older than our universe and travel to many universes, are very likely multi-galactic buster, and this is a mere mid-end.
Gideon U Reapers can only control relatively advanced races through their own tech, Including Citadel and Relays, and the slow indoctrination. Against any ancient Halo race, they can't even scratch the paint of their enemies' warships.

I'd like to think that the Vong would maybe even hold the Flood to a religious level, similar to how some members of the Covenant found the Parasite as a holy relic left by the Forerunners. The Flood is the ultimate biological force, and it could be a complete unification for them, I'm sure there would be sects of the Vong that would embrace the Flood with open arms.

id say so, spartans have very strong Armour and shields that could imo easily go toe to toe with stormtroopers, and the fact that the spartans use weapons that fire bullets rather than lasers would mean that they could fight sith like kylo ren as he cannot deflect the rounds back meaning if there where enough Spartans firing for example Assault Rifles they could overpower him (possibly).
Though im not sure about naval combat, the star wars universe has very powerful anti ship weapons and shielding and i think that in a naval combat scenario the first order would win.

Awesome ideas! A galactic versus between the Ancients (Stargate) and the Galactic Empire would be really cool too.
In my opinion the Ancients would destroy them. Aurora-class Battleships have Pulse Turrets that could heavily damage a Hive ship and destroy a Traveler ship in only a few shots and they have Drones that would easily bypass the shields of any ship the Empire could throw at them. The only chance the Empire would have would be to overwhelm a fleet of Auroras through sheer weight in numbers, even then they'll take heavy losses. Maybe a Super Star Destroyer stands a chance, but even then it would be severely damaged if it could survive long enough against one Aurora's Drones.
A *pre-war* UNSC Frigate could one shot a Reaper Capital Ship, the UNSC stomp.

If the Prometheans have the Composer and fight in a living galaxy with the Droid Army on the other side, they'll take it due to sheer force of numbers and quality per units. If not, the Droid Army will win due to sheer industrial output.

Covenant, but only due to numerical superiority. The Protoss have incredibly powerful and lethal technology, as well as the advantage of psionics(basically psychic/telekinetics, but much more amplified- think 40k Psykers, but more stable and slightly less explosive) and time manipulation (The Oracle units of the Shakuras Protoss and the Arbiters of the Aiur Protoss both have time manipulation abilities.) Protoss units also have a better mobility and deployment rate then the Covenant with the use of the Warp system. In spite of all of that, they're going to get crushed by the Covenant Empire as they're simply far too outmatched.

There were several Driod Rebellions happenned in Star Wars universe before. They were all quelled. You can even play against one Rogue AI in SWTOR. They're not that hard to handle because the threat is likely to be contrained in a single planet and the mainframe is weak against a small but elite strike force, which is what Star War seems to be specialize in.

Minton Probably not. The Daleks are way more technologically advanced at the peak of their power. The Skaro Degradations created weapons which could wipe a victim out of existence. They could also use the Apocalypse Element to wipe out the Milky Way, or simply nuke all of existence with the Reality Bomb.

Z-nutrino energy flattened into a single string by the planetary alignment field could turn anything into atoms (and then sub-atomic particles, by cancelling out the charges between protons and electrons and then the particles inside those particles), I’m pretty sure.

The Forerunners are on the lower end of the god-tier races.
Lets not forget that the Time Destructor can also age a planet until it becomes completely uninhabitable, as well as the fact they have access to time travel technology. The Daleks would completely curve stomp anything the Forerunners have. The only chance they would have is if they faced off against Daleks during the early parts of their history, or if they were able to travel back in time to the Thousand Year War and assassinate Davros and key members of the Scientific Elite. Since the Forerunners are incapable of time travel, I say their chances are pretty slim.
I would enjoy seeing the Vong loose horribly.

Flood stomps unless Tyranids can isolate and systematically annhilate any trace of Flood using offensive Tyrannification.
You're forgetting Tyranid adaptation and sheer numbers, the Tyranids would very merrily sacrifice several hive fleets to find the right solution. That's the problem with 40k factions, manpower is so cheap that most factions can just throw it at it until something sparks an idea
The flood is the perfect answer though, any forces you send at them make them stronger. Tyranid combat forms would be horrifying

I'd give that to the Imperial Remnant. Even in Legends, the New Republic didn't want to completely stamp out the Imperials, as it would result in an incredibly bloody stalemate.

UNSC circa 2558 juuuust prior to Cortana claiming the Mantle for the Created vs the Turian Hierarchy at Shanxi in a First Contact War situation.
SinDawg030 Orbital defense cannons will take out the Turian dteadnaughts almost immediately. Also the Turian don't have slipspace so the unsc would be able send renforcements rather quickly. In The battle of sigma octanius IV the unsc was able to send renforcements to the system in hours while at shanxi the alliance took forever to send renforcements
The question arises whether the postwar UNSC would have "big stick" S-MAC platforms defending what would be likely an Outer Colony world like Shanxi so soon after the end of the War and also whether UNSC infantry equipment and weaponry can stand up to their Turian equivalents especially mass accelerator rifles.
Halo outclasses ME in every way, a pre-war UNSC frigate's MAC could take out a Sovereign class Reaper, they can get reinforcements in hours, infantry isn't going to matter, they all died when the entire fleet was blown up.
This match-up is a Flood paradise.
It's also important to note that the Flood has a transdimentional collective mind comprised of all knowledge and experiences from all previous Graveminds. Once an individual outbreak gives rise to a Gravemind, that Gravemind has access to this metaphysical knowledge bank, making it completely unstoppable. Once a Keymind forms, it can access the full knowledge of the Precursors and the rest of existence via the Domain. As long as a single strand of Flood DNA exists in the Universe, their collective mind will endure.

USS Vengeance (Star Trek) vs BC-304 Daedalus (Stargate) both with full capabilities
If the deadalus class has post ending tech it's easily the deadalus. If it has a ZPM then it's even more OP.
Ok maybe not with a ZPM, but even without one it should prove a challenge.. Vengeance is like starfleet's most advanced ship with advanced weaponry, engines, shields and hull. A focused barrage of shots could penetrate a ships shield, pretty sure they have the same speed if not Vengeance is probably faster, shields are pretty good and if it can't take a couple hits from Daedalus's beam weapons, i'm pretty sure it's hull can. I mean we saw it fall from orbit, crashed against the planet and mostly still intact. Hell this ship can even take out other ships in warp, Daedalus might need a ZPM..

Well the A6 Juggernaut isn't exactly a tank either. It's more like a big, overly sophisticated APC with a rocket launcher.

Locusts has zero armor are small and isn't a tank so the juggernaut will win against a dozen of these.
Juggernauts will tear right through Locusts. They're meant as infantry support, and are horrifically countered if they are faced with even remote resistance. *If* they can get within range to use their plasma cannons, I doubt they would do much more damage then simply scorch the superconductive armor of the A6's.

Ultramarine yeah. Plus I'm not sure how they could possibly infect a fully armoured space Marine. That's thick ceramite plate 10 times thicker than Master chief. The flood would break their limbs trying to attack a marine.

The Flood at their peak (Halo Silentium) are fucking terrifying.
Since the Flood absorb "biomass" in general, instead of assimilating/absorbing the Vong directly, couldn't the Flood begin by absorbing the biotech tools of the Vong? All Vong tech, even their ships with coral rock hulls, uses biomass for control and operations, and even offense and defense. A Flood infection form wouldn't need to get through a Vong's armor to get the Vong inside it, it could just infect the armor itself (being originally a crab-like creature modified for Vong use as armor), and from the armor modified as a sort of proto-warrior form, the Flood could then infect the Vong inside it. Same for much of the Vong weaponry. And if Flood infection forms got inside a Vong worldship, instead of infecting the Vong, they could just infect the biomass internal walls of the worldship itself, almost immediately converting it into a Flood form, which then begins infecting all the Vong living inside of it. With the Vong population inside a Worldship, as well as the collected knowledge of the Vong stored within each Worldship, each of these infected and converted would lead to quick, almost immediate, development of a Gravemind per Worldship.
Even if Satan, Wolverine, every Nazi who ever lived, The Asgardians (Odin leading not Thor), all four of the Three Musketeers, IG-88 tied on General Grievous's back, Deadpool, The A-team in their prime, The Stygian Witches with the Eye, a fighting force of every Amazon who ever lived all menstruating , Voltron, Flash Gordan, Buck Rogers and Starbuck* could team up, wait until the sun is shining in their (Floods) eyes to invade a Flood controlled galaxy and still they wont win? They fail to run the Flood out of a galaxy if the Flood have built lots of minds?

A lot of people seem to forget in halo three there's this one soldier I don't member his name but he couldn't be infected by the flood it shows that when Master can you find them against the door not infected like the other man of him he was a human too so it has nothing to do with species it's a genotype he also wasn't a Spartan he was a regular soldier he was obviously killed but not infected

The Covenant Fleet at Reach still might not be enough, if we consider the level of technological sophistication on the side of the Protoss- they can make sudden, pinpoint, and near instantaneous teleportation to reposition forces, utilize cloaking not just for a few warships but across the entire fleet, as well as utilize the warp matrix to quickly redeploy forces and psionics to brutal effect, from warping space-time to completely manipulating it in the case of the Arbiter, Mothership and Oracle units.
Darren Ong I think energy projectors have a better range, so the Covenant will destroy a few Protoss ship initially, but they have no counter to Spear of Adun and the Motherships space-time warping, if the Protoss get near it's GG. I think however that Covenant ships are more durable.
Much more fair fleet would be Spear of Adun with the Golden Armada against High Charity with supporting fleets, to include Thel Vadam's Fleet of Particular Justice.

Gameplay balance is a completely different thing then reality.
A zealot regardless of shielding would be a bloody smear from a direct SPNKR hit. I'm well aware of it's capabilities, and that of Zealots. If the SPNKR can rip through shielded Wraith armor from single hits, I'm fairly certain the Zealot is dead too. Not to mention that this is a completely different story from what they're facing here.

Logan Sanders Palps and Vader might if they attack the mutant inside, the troopers are going to do nothing, The Daleks fought toe-to-toe with the Time Lords, whose basic weapon (De-Mat Gun) erased your entire timeline from existence, and who weaponised regeneration, a single Dalek could take on the entirety of the Imperial, Republic, First Order, Rebel, CIS, and Resistance armies, the only limiting factor being the time it would take.

+EckhartsLadder You should look into the Warhammer Universe a bit for your next Flood video. There are 4 Factions I think could survive the Flood from Warhammer.
Firstly, the obvious comparison you can make is to the Tyranid, they are like the flood except not an infection, but instead an infestation/swarm. They have biological mastery and diversity but MOST IMPORTANTLY. They are EXTREMELY resistant to genetic tampering from outside their genetic collective. Any time there is a genetic "flaw" that is discovered and used against them, they find counter-measures to change their very biology (whether that is through consuming some other biological data or just using the flaw that was introduced and countering it by examining its very nature). They are also at the point of unstoppible, It's widely accepted that they are going to eventually consume the galaxy, they are slower in getting around than the Flood, but they are scarily efficient.
Second Faction is the Old Ones, they were so powerful they transcended traditional biology and became basically ethereal fart cloud souls with the ability to create life and shape reality. They only reason they failed was because they came up against a faction that was highly resistant to their life manipulating abilities, its literally a case of "Oh the only thing that could beat us has arrived to wipe us out". They got into a war that fractured the galaxy so bad that the ramifications of it is still felt in the current day of Warhammer (namely they basically made the warp what it is today due to the horrificness of the war)
That leads me to the next faction: Necrons during the War with the Old Ones, they had Star Gods on their side, the ability to negate life itself, technology that appeared as if they were in full control of reality, They were emotionless, unending and nearly infinitely able to repair and battle on. They were nearly immune to the Old Ones abilities to manipulate life and use psychic energy due to their near lifeless forms (being essentially robot skeletons) and the C'tan, aka the Star Gods, were the leaders of them and had abilties to consume stars and warp reality. The battle they had with the Old Ones was so crazy that it changes the warp into a sea of tranquility into a hellscape of randomness, emotion and madness. There has never been or ever will be a war like that in the Warhammer universe again.
Which leads me to the final candidate to fight the Flood: Chaos. I don't mean the Chaos worshippers, I mean the beings of the warp, they have no real physical forms to corrupt, they are the entities created from the thoughts and feelings of all that think. There has never been a documented case (to my knowledge) of a chaos entity actually dying, they just get sent back into the warp because afterall, flesh is killable, ideas and unkillable. The biggest threat to Chaos is nobody, cept maybe the Emperor but honestly I am not sure of what he could have done to stop them. The best you could do to Chaos is to beat back the waves of warp entities, find a way to close whatever breach in reality there is and then wait for the next chaotic breach, they are effectively the unending problem in the Warhammer universe that will continue to keep the Warhammer universe as place where there is only war.
Honorable mention: Eldar at the height of their power/Empire were able to come back from the dead after their souls enter the warp and also were able to create devices that made things for them and even created Gods (Warp Entities) that fufilled a specific function in manipulating reality. However I think they COULD lose to the Flood since they were still physical beings with flaws and genetic issues that can be manipulated. However they could give the Flood a run for their money, especially at the Height of their Empire, post that, they havent got a CHANCE.
