So good to see a video review of everlane pieces. If only they had the styles in the colours I like.
sonyafby You will definitely have to come round at some stage; then you can actually try/see everything in person. They seem to rotate the colours depending on season too. I always click the notify me if a piece isn't in my size too which is really helpful
I love your videos. Ive been watching a ton of beauty/lifestyle girls on youtube for years now but your channel is definitely my favorite because you are so genuine and honest. Please keep producing videos.

Your black blouse has stayed black. My everlane black silk blouse is acquiring a sort of whitish sheen as I use it more and more. It photographs gray these days. I never owned any equipment blouses. So cant compare with that. My zara silk blouses feel better in terms of the fabric. But the thread stitching has been coming apart. But I dont think I should expect more from Zara. The stitching is much much better for Everlane.
I recently got a Theory & outnet's Iris and Ink silk shirt, and I am impressed with their quality. You mentioned being an Outnet shopper. Do give them a chance next time.
I would repurchase the silks from Everlane again though. Good bang for the money.
I think Everlane would do more linen in the future. They are massively expanding.

I think that's why that as much as I love the convenience and choice with online shopping I stopped because all my favourite pieces are ones I've tried in store because you can get a feel for how they sit on your frame and know exactly what you're getting. Beautiful choices though !
M AU Yeah shopping online can be frustrating for that reason. I never used to return things but now I do if it isn't right, which is why it's always a risk buying through mail forwarding!

Xanthelou I use mail forwarding to get them sent to Australia. I think you can use the AU Post service, alternatively I've used Hop Shop Go, or for the most part tend to use Shipito :)
Have you purchased more items from Everlane since this review? I purchased the Ryan muscle tank in white and black and also the regular Ryan tank and charcoal gray, after seeing this review. I have the charcoal gray cashmere sweater on my wish list. 😉
+Amanda Cable I have! I purchased the trench coat, cropped cashmere sweater and the modern loafer. I'm hoping to pick up a few more pieces through the year so I can do a 'best of' later this year :) There is a trench coat review on my channel too if you're interested!

+mademoiselle hey lovely yes I have thought of it but a friend of mine did that and then later got a bill for £90 in customs charges so that's why I've not tried it yet. I haven't heard if shipito though so I will look it up, thank you x

Lovely video, it's been really helpful to see! I've just made my first Everlane purchase myself, and am a bit worried about how to care for my new silk shirts. Could you tell me a bit more about how you care for them? What is your at home washing process?
Ella Hi Ella, thank you so much for your comment. I've always been pretty blasé about cleaning silk, mostly as dry cleaners weren't always around so they had to be washed by hand at some point, right? I tend to wash mine in a delicates bag on a cool cycle in the washing machine with like colours. I then steam out any wrinkles with a garment steamer. It still has that washed silk look to it, at least that's what I've found. If I get a stain of some sort, quite often I will get them dry-cleaned though as they have tools at their disposal which we just don't have access to. Home washing definitely makes these a lot more affordable to care for too!

Do you use their shipping service to Australia? Does it at a significant cost to the order?
JoyfulFreckles Hi there; I use Shipito to receive my order via mail forwarding. I think standard postage is via USPS is about $40 USD? I upgraded my account so I could consolidate shipments so I tend to place at least three separate store orders (so like COS, Zara, Milani, Everlane etc etc) and then get it sent via DHL which is about $60 USD as it feels worth it.
Great pieces! It's a shame though that they do not ship to where I live :(
holbansimona I use mail forwarding to get the pieces sent to me in Australia - only issue is that you can't return anything if you don't like it

I don't actually own a scale and I'm not sure the last time that I weighed myself but I'm probably somewhere between 55-60kg? No idea though sorry xx
Can I ask how you launder the silk items you bought? I think they are lovely but I just don't know if I can justify the purchase if dry cleaning is my only option. Thank you for this video! Please make more. They are so helpful!
+Sable1837 I tend to handwash/gentle machine wash the silk tanks, and then depending on the stain, I'll get things dry-cleaned just as I don't like to spray things like Vanish stain remover on the silk (it can be a little harsh). You definitely can cold wash the silks from Everlane though without any issues! :)
