Happy new year! Great tips. I always do the reverse hangers at the beginning of the year, works really well for me. I declutter twice during the year, after winter and after the summer. Before I used to hold on to so much I thought I would use later, now everything that's not used goes. It clears up some space and makes it easier to add pices to my wardrobe I know I like and will use.
Would love a video on eBay, I'm sure you have some great tips!
I used to be a lot like that too - also just felt like I needed options but I never had anything to wear!! Will definitely be filming one very soon :)

Hi happy new year. I am a big fan of declutter. I declutter at lease two or three times a year.
I usually try to once a season but with the wedding planning last year, it's probably been six months since I last decluttered so the new year was a great prompt for me! :)

Hey! Haha yes I popped into KW perhaps a little too often, but some of the other places I liked to shop were Good as Gold, Twenty Seven Names, that shop which used to be called Artikel that is about two shops down from KW, RUBY, Scotties (although mostly to window shop), Workshop, and Zambesi. Oh and Superette! I did a lot of shopping online too (plus eBay) which allowed me to get access to designers not readily available in NZ :)

Hi, I have a dilemma, I got the Zara version of the acne jacket ( just because), I melt in Louisiana, would you say it is a trendy piece or I could wear years ahead? My friends are not into fashion and you are stylish and level headed, thanks
+ivanete roark hey! I've been wanting the acne velocite shearling jacket for about 5 years now, and am actually hoping to splurge on it this year (if I can save up enough!). I think while it has been trendy this season, the fact that it has been around for YEARS says a lot about its longevity. If you love the style and it's something you will reach for in the years to come, then definitely hang on to it - trends will come and go but I think it's a pretty classic silhouette and a good staple to have! Great tips. I would add: “trash” unwearable clothing by taking it to a textile recycling facility. H&M offered this, before the pandemic, in its shops and gave a 15% discount for every donation. I’m hoping this will re-open soon. Every major city has a place that takes textiles for recycling, sometimes through charity shops, sometimes directly from consumers. Writing this in June 2021.
I wouldn't trash your clothes. A lot of recycling centers will take worn clothes and repurpose them for rags, insulation, etc. If you take your fabrics to H&M they'll give you a 15% voucher for a future purchase.
YES!!! I love that idea - such a fantastic one and thank you so much for suggesting it. I'm not too familiar with any local recycling centres (our old stuff is either donated or turned into rags for around the house) but definitely a very good option if donating isn't an option!
Please don't put all of the 'trash' pile into landfill. Some fabrics can be recycled into new products and materials.
Please please don't trash clothes!!! Send them to a recycling center instead!!!
