Man, you people are fucking stupid for calling them sell outs? lol If youre a real fan, you know what they were going through the first albums. And specially john. Theyre all happy parents now, not 20 year old kids. And they love music. They keep it moving which is the best thing an artist can do. I cant understand how you can possible listen to people who make the SAME FUCKING thing for their entire careers, godsmack, slayer, megadeth. Its not what music is about. And they, at least John, LOVES electronic music, he never fucking sold out. Selling out would be staying the same for the so called fans only cause they fear change. JD made a techno album or tracks before korn, he always loved techno. So doing dubstep came naturally. They mixed rap and metal before it was ever popular. Cause they love hip hop. You cant and dont have to love every single song they make, no one does, but real fans support them. And now that head is back, its on. Paradigm shift was pretty fucking good.
Comments like this restore my faith in (music-loving) humanity. My views on 'what to like' are pretty simplistic nowadays, there's good music and bad music and that's it. When will people stop the hypocrisy in blaming 'trendy' stuff like dubstep (or whatever is popular). First, the narrow minded assumption that whatever's popular must then be awful by default. Then, the idea that it means the same as being a sellout. Because of what, the masses like it, it's a business strategy? Let's name a few very commercially succesful metal festivals shall we, sponsored by big names, who cash in big time. Speaking of which, Family Values Tour anyone? How many Jonathan clones walked around through the masses with their dreadheads and Adidas jumpsuits? Were they sellouts then? Talk about popular. So, they changed their sound. Did they trade their integrity for the purpose of making more money, they could well be sellouts. I'm betting they'd make a lot more if they did a greatest hits tour accompanied by an album with Life is Peachy ripoffs. But no, a change of sound, not very unlikely in their case. They were always into everything. So I feel it says more about the naysayers. It's people who are either stuck in nostalgialand or they like their bands to supremely rock, and Korn isn't doing that anymore like they used to. That doesn't make them good, bad, or sellouts. Stop yelling 'it must be the band's fault/they sold out' whenever it is your taste that simply differs. Like you're entitled to a certain sound, otherwise, obviously, it's on them. Stop whining and buy a mirror. Also, don't call yourself a fan anymore. You're probably a fan of their old genre. That's fine. If this is horrible to you, also fine. It means you're not a fan anymore. If you truly were a fan of this band in particular, you'd stick with them through their endeavors, or at least support their effort. Otherwise what kind of fan are you? *steps off soapbox/end rant Didn't mean to write a book. So! Have a nice day everybody.
Same, but I'm 45 lol. Saw them in 97 in the old Georgia dome with Kid Rock, System of a down, Powerman 5000 and Metallica. It was the greatest thing I've ever seen. I love Korn, always will. 🤘
Of course their softest song gets massive success, I guess I can understand why songs like Good God, Daddy, and Kill You never got massive success though but this song appeals to a broader range of music fans which is cool!
If you had told me when I was in high school listening to Issues that this would be Korn in 17 years, I would've called bullshit. Holy shit, I just realized it's been 17 years since Issues. Fuck.
+TheSepticFoundry Tell me sth about it. I've been listening to Korn from the 1st album in 99 :) now this style is... Btw I'm still playing the very first album. I just Love the dirtiness.
+TheSepticFoundry they've gone Linkin Park. like how LP went soft after meteora. their latest cd is much better though. Korn's oildale cd (idk what it was called) wasn't bad. this is the first i heard of it. eh
This song just shows their range. This is so restrained and mellow along with being almost easy listening in a way. I can play this song for anyone with any type of musical taste and they would probably be able to get into it.
Fuck the haters. This sounds better than the shit on the top of the charts right now. Considering how many bands I've seen vanish into obscurity from my generation (static x, rob zombie, powerman 5000, etc.) I'm glad to see KoRn is still around rocking out. People need to realize that korn came out 1994 for fuck's sake. 20 fuckin years these guys have been making music. You don't expect it to change? Fuck off.
You know what I HATE? I hate when people on these videos blither on about how Korn and other bands haven't lost their style because they changed their style. They HAVE. Korn, CREATED Nu Metal. They made their own genre. They're like Lou Reed, a Godfather of punk. But no sooner did they create it did they fall into the mainstream. Fuck yes, I expect it to change. I expect it to change into more expertise versions of their creation. "Well fuck, we don't have to invent the wheel; let's just steal someone else's design!" 20 years they've made excellent music, and over those 20 years, it's gotten better and better: more expert lyrics, better riffs, et cetera. But now? Now it's just deteriorated into this... Mutant! To me now, they're almost like the puppets of society. With YOU, and YOUR goddamn peers leading them along! The master of the damn show, melting into oblivion before my goddamn eyes, leaving me and all the people who have thought like me to roil in the past. "It sounds better than the shit on the top of the charts right now." Yes, RIGHT NOW. Soon, and you won't be able to tell the damn difference. I'd rather have them hone their skills than leave them to run along into the crowd and lose what I hold so dear. Do you NOT. Fucking. Understand?! They manifested the new generation of music out of dust, and went to perfect it. But before they could, they were tainted by pretty words, and left it for a demonic new style of filth, leaving their art in the dirt. This shit doesn't sound better than the music at the top of the charts. Not when you hear how they've crumbled to peer pressure.
Collaberative Gaming Channel I like your passion, I admire that. But there's just one problem. Not only has their music changed, but they've changed as well. Jonathan Davis is 42 years old now. Damn near 50. You can't expect them to hold on to the same angst they had in their youth. They've mellowed out a lot. Their riffs are better, the lyrics, while not as angry, are just as good. "I never want to multiply, because deep inside I'm not qualified." That hits right at home for me. I can't be a parent. I'm never going to know what that love feels like. Is ADIDAS better in your opinion? "All day I dream about sex" ? That's what I call uninspired. If koRn still sounded like they did back in the day, then I'd not be listening to it.
When I say the past was a better era, imagine KoRn III. That I think was the-- from purely musical standpoint, their best album. Oildale, Pop a pill, they were more developed than their previous works. I enjoyed that, and I still listen to their work. And when you say he's 42... Yeah, that's getting older, but still not quite there. George Blanda was playing football for another 5 years once he hit that age. Besides, when you get older like that, yeah, you mellow out... But why would you just decide to fall into the crowd? Again, like I've said, Lou Reed did some really good stuff in his life. He's pioneered punk... And he didn't fall into pop by the time he died. I don't quite understand it myself. But I sure as hell know, this isn't the spirit of Korn on here. I'm sure if you listen carefully, you could just hear it dying slowly in these songs.
Collaberative Gaming Channel Ironically, a lot of people think Korn III was nowhere near their best, mostly because the idea was to go back to their roots, and they honestly couldn't truly do that without Head and Silvera. I don't care to comment what I think is best, because I'm not a huge Korn fan. I do listen from time to time... But if you really want to find the music where the art never dies, you need to find the musicians who don't get the limelight. My favorite group to listen to is a group called NERVE, which performs program music with live instrumentation. There's art and passion to that, and I doubt they'll have as big of a fan base as Korn, and I am totally certain they'll never succumb to what's "trendy."
Michael Scott Grim games is right. How quickly a song that is a little different is they are trying to be trendy. Um hello who do you think started the trends in the first place and this is probably the lightest song on the album. It's not like they are turning into maroon 5 who I would hardly call rock. Let me change that. They are not rock at all. These are still just 5 guys from Bakersfield who play heavy guitar that still makes me wanna rock out since I was 18. So "Are you READY?!!!!!!!
This is a song dedicated to JD's ex wife, Deven. He swore he would never fall in love with another woman after losing Deven, the mother of his children, but he is a man and I'm sure he has already moved on! lol JD is too good looking and wealthy to not have a woman in his life.
I'm 40 years old. My 10 yr old daughter asked me "Mom, who is Korn". I said "Some people I will be listening to while sitting in rocking chair in a nursing home"..
@Sean Meadows I will too!!! I want this song played at my funeral, anyone that really knows me will understand the reason why..this is why I love Korn so much..for some reason this song is one of my favorites. It has that hardness but yet vulnerable feeling I get when I hear it.
Lifelong KoRn fan. Love this song. Proof that they have excellent range. Launched the Nu-Metal genre, road through its peak, survived its death, and transcended into something that remains uniquely KoRn. They will always be my favorite.
@@jdbarr769 Nu-Metal is to Metal what Alt Rock is to Rock, a clumsier, noisier sound that makes up for in passion and energy what it lacks in musicianship. You could say that both Nu-Metal and Alt Rock are the children of 70's Punk because prior to Punk all music was played by people who were extremely talented musicians who were either professionally taught or self taught by watching professionals, whereas Punk was almost the opposite, it was the idea that anyone could pick up an instrument and start making a sound they could then call their own. Alt Rock came about in the early 80's as a way for Rock-loving kids to show they could create catchy riffs and hooks like those of Led Zeppelin and Queen but without the instrumental finesse and solo skills of the Rock masters like Jimmy Page and Brian May, then Nu-Metal did the exact same for Metal 10 years later to show that Metal-loving kids could also be as heavy and powerful as Black Sabbath and Metallica without having the incredible grasp of hammering and scales that the Metal masters Tony Iommi and Kirk Hammett have. Nu-Metal is DIY Metal, which is not far off from what you said. 👍
Make “nu-metal” , the name, go away!! 😢😢😭. I can’t take it. Like who said that in late 90’s early 2000’s? When it was going on? No one who loved and respected the music. Why? Cuz it was ridiculous.
It isn't what Korn used to be, but you know what makes them so great? The fact that they can change sounds so much and still be able to make it sound great. That is what MUSIC is.
Jesus. I remember well how this song came out when I was still 13 years old and going into middle school. I always listened to it when I was having a hard time then after listening to it it only got better. Thanks KORN .
I'm going to be honest, I've been a Korn fan since 1998 and I've fucking loved their shit all the way back to 93 till now. They're more than fucking alive, I'm a metal head and yet I love this song. If you don't like it, just piss off. P.S JD actually confirmed himself, he wrote this song and deliberately put it in the album to piss of so called fans :P
1❤ guys, i am listening yor music since 2011, when i had 6 years old, with my father, and now i am Glad to rediscover yor work in 2024! Bi hugs from România!
Never Never (in my opinion) is the only song that brings the "new era" Korn. But the other songs bring back the oldschool Korn. The Paradigm Shift reminds me of Issues, bringing back their oldschool sound that everyone loves. Some hate it, others (which are many) love it. But everyone has their opinion. In my opinion? Korn is back, and their awesome.
Victimised , what we do, it’s all wrong , mass hysteria , prey for me , love and meth all solid tracks the album was cool and I kind of like how it’s underrated
@@leftfield5914 I wouldn't call it "underrated" lol this was the album that featured Head on guitars again so fans do love this album! Although there are a few duds on this album like Never, Never and Spike In My Veins
U know it doll. Me 65, and I still and always will listen 2 Korn until the day I die. Until the day I fry in2 ashes. Until we all fall down. I proudly walk without a crown. I got nothing 2 speak of except the music I love. Every day God blesses me from high up above. My family has faded in2 the unknown. I am here with my only son. grateful I'm not alone. So good 2 have those on my same page. I blast my music and scream my rage. What more can I ask for? what more can I want? pretty clothes for all the fake bitches. all of the miniskirts, the botox, and riches. 2 the ones who are real, Thank U. 4 those who don't feel, fuck U. We R Somebody, Someone!
After reading some of these comments, I've got to say, if you're familiar with Korn, but we're hearing this song for the first time, I suspect you would know without a doubt that it was them. They have their own sound, and while they experimented with different sounds, they managed to keep it sounding like Korn. I can certainly appreciate that. That to me speaks artistry. There's a reason they've been around as long as they have, they must be doing something right.
@@aquelotro5560 Right! ... I think Korn has been gayass sell-outs ever since their See You On The Other Side album. They used to be metal and awesome. Now they're like pop/alternative/EDM... Eww.....
Love this song and this band. They are awesome! I've liked all of their music, obsessed over some of it and will be an old lady someday blasting this from my car stereo since I'll never get tired of them. This video is great! Love Jonathan's dancing! What an awesome group of guys! Their lyrics are brilliant and their music is legendary!
Hell yeah! I just turned 41 and I looked at my wife the other day and said I want to go see KORN AGAIN! She said I thought you quit listening to that stuff, I busted out laughing so loud it scared the dog! KORN FOREVER 🤘
They have consistently put out better and better music and I had to learn to like their first two albums they certainly deserve the credit and have a catalog of music to back it
I saw them more than once. They always put on a great show...sound great too. I was in my 30s when I first saw them (years and years ago) first time I was in a mosh pit.. loved it...
I'll never love again I won't ever have to pretend I'm never gonna love again [Verse 1] I don't ever wanna have to try And though I lie it never flies I don't ever wanna have to die But deep inside the death it hides And I never wanna clarify And justify, so I run and hide And I never wanna signify So I pacify all the hate inside [Chorus] (No-o-o-o) I'll never love again (No-o-o-o) I won't ever have to pretend (No-o-o-o) I'm never gonna love again Never gonna have to try to pretend Never, never, never [Verse 2] I don't ever wanna satisfy 'Cause things inside are doing fine I don't ever wanna multiply 'Cause deep inside, I'm not qualified And I never wanna clarify And justify, so I run and hide And I never wanna signify So I pacify all the hate inside (No-o-o-o) I'll never love again (No-o-o-o) I won't ever have to pretend (No-o-o-o) I'm never gonna love again Never gonna have to try to pretend Never, never, never [Bridge] I'll never love again I'm never gonna love again Never, never [Chorus] (No-o-o-o) I'll never love again (No-o-o-o) I won't ever have to pretend (No-o-o-o) I'm never gonna love again Never gonna have to try to pretend Never, never, never [Outro] (No-o-o-o) Never, never, never (No-o-o-o) Never, never, never (No-o-o-o) I'm never gonna love again Never gonna have to try to pretend Never, never, never
i'll never give up for love due to listening this, circumstances of my life at this about love for take it with grain of saft.i an'it needa pensive mood why now i walking at circuitous route, nevertheless i hate cumbersome situation
Chris B But this one is a song, that has nostalgia in it, even if it only has 3-4 years. It is my favorite Korn song since I heard it my first time and that was november 2014, always when I didn't hear it for a "long" time, I feel nostalgic, or when I'm not feeling good, I kisten to it and smile.
Oh for sure, not arguing that, it's just all the youtube kiddies that read the date it was uploaded and go OMG IT'S BEEN x YEARS ALREADY OMG NOSTALGIA xDDDDDDDDDDDDD LOLZORS.
I guess I never gave him a shot, I only saw interviews of the rest of the crew. I was sad to see Davis without the rest of the crew when I saw them in Vegas w/ Disturbed & Sevendust. I gotta see them now that they are (almost) all back together
Ray is an awesome drummer tho, if you listen to old Korn and then some of the new stuff you'll hear a huge difference as much as I am an old school Korn Kid (I started listening to them in the mid-90's and was born in '87 so pretty much forever to me) I think Ray does a better job. Now if we could just get them to unplug the fucking keyboards it would be perfect.
The people knocking this song just don't get that a lot of people mellow out as they get older. I've been listening to Korn since they started, and I have also gotten older, just like them. Many bands change their sound as they go along, and just like me, they probably aren't as angry as they were in their twenties, so get over it. I really like this song.
I agree. I like this song. but regardless, it is their right as artists to change their style or sound. I don't like metallica's sound since justice, but it is their right! They are the ones making the music.
When I was 12 years old. Self titled KoRn changed life as I knew it, and continued to do so on into Issues. The following releases just didn't do a damn thing for me, Take A Look In The Mirror etc.. and that was that. Until now I'll be 30 this year.. hearing this track, I fully agree with the mellowing out, but the adolescent in me is all "AHHH YESS! HEAD'S BACK! THIS CHORUS IS AMAZING!" I'm sure the rest of the album isn't as catchy or full of the same "holy shit!" vibes I got from the first four full lengths, but in the meantime, well done. And does Jonathan Davis age?
That's wicked funny you're dropping the "I've been a fan for 12 years" cause that's basically when they started sucking balls. Haha. I was a fan 17 years ago and stopped listening 14 years ago when Issues came out. Well , I guess one person's garbage is another's treasure...?
db2k3k if you're a KoRn 'fan' you'd appreciate they're music and not say how bad it is, yes they aren't as good as they were back in the early albums(issues was my favourite) but they're last album dosen't sound alot like this song they are still a top band.
Jean Darmanin I am a korn fan so yea..but this song (and album) is horrible. They might aswell do songs with Miley Cyrus. Theyre sellouts, but thats not the reason i dont like this album, its simpy because it sucks. They now go under the genre pop, and have less respect from my side.
iv been a Korn fan since 97'.. that being said, i love all thier shit! i fukin love blind, here to stay, falling away from me, freak on a leash, never never and ALL thier other songs! im a die hard fan. johny davis you are the fuking best... i 💘 u
korn is a band that helps everyone that feels the same way as they do, we all share the same pain that made us understand we are stronger an we can overcome, they have helped so many people when no one else was there for them, I know because i am a victim of a sad child hood, I had no one to talk to, everyone around me didn't understand an thought i was weird, I thought i was trully alone on this earth like i was a mistake, but then around 1995 i heard their music, I felt so free an happy knowing I feel what they are saying realizing i am not the only one going threw it, they also go threw it but what they show in their music from my view is show no matter how hard life is, you can always overcome, we all share the same love that this band has done for us growing up, we could all say their style was like being in therapy hearing the truth being pored out setting us all free, an not only that going to their shows we see everyone who has the same intentions an past, i for one am thankful for this band, they helped me become a producer, creating what i feel an putting it on music releasing my soul, I know alot of you out there will feel the same as i do, an for the other that don't i can really not give a shit, knowing how strong this band has made me, negativity gets scared walking around me knowing it can't hurt me anymore, everything that is pain in my life i went threw to become who i am today, strong an on my two feet doing what i love, I thank Korn the rest of my life for that, Korn thankyou for Being there when others weren't, An thankyou for always being there for the rest of our lifes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Korn Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
OMG 8 year's already!!!?!! Wish I could go back to 99, such a great time in music, the best new genre was blowing everything away, some of the greatest concerts ever!! Hope all you in the metal community are well, we may be small, but we are the BEST family in music
I've been a huge fan of Korn since their debut album, and I really love all their albums up to, and including, Take a Look in the Mirror. I have to say that I really respect them for trying new things, but their newer albums just don't seem to capture me in the same way the old ones did. But I will keep listening to them and hope that they'll reclaim that special magic they used to have.
Scott F exactly, they can't just rehash their stuff from prev. works, it would make them stale, all bands do that, then they would release an album similar to what their fans originally loved them for. They'll eventually burn out if they remain stale.
I have a question for all you Korn purists. Say Korn were to go back to there roots and start making songs with anger and vulgarity again, would you like them again or would you still hate them? Slipknot did the same thing with the Gray Chapter and some of their "fans" still hated it. They said it was too late to go back or "you can't expect to go back to the heavier stuff after making Walmart music for the past few years!". They went back to their roots, but they still couldn't satisfy everyone. Would you guys do the same?
KoRnBaKo reading comprehension. practice it. i never said i dont like korn. you know i actually like korn. was one of my favorite bands. i dont like this shitty song. and what they do nowdays. you should also do some research in pakistani names before commenting on that too.
Korn did the same. listen to KIII. the difference? is the listener. ok lets say their self titled came out when you were 16. you will hear it one way. then say it it came out now and you were 30. depending on where youre at you may not even like it. your perception changes as you get older. so they could make the SAME raw sound. but since you are older you react differently. get it? and besides korn has always never stuck with one "sound" even LIP and ST are distinct enough if you heard a sound you can tell which album it is on. same for every other album.
FutureFameMusic my musical preception is the same since i was 12. never changed. this song is a disgrace to the band imo. if you like it, listen to it, but i dont think you would prefer this to lets say: here to stay or twisted transistor.
After reading another Brother's Korn story about his Mom, I had to repost mine... Mom watched the live telecast they put out a few months before they were scheduled to play Tampa with Staind. I hadup the sound bar up to 100, which she loved because Mom was born hard of hearing so she couldn't really appreciate most music very well. After the show I told her they were coming in a month and she immediately said "I want to go"! I felt some kind of way about taking my mom to a metal show, lol. But we brought her a wheelchair and I was taking my favorite person in the whole world to see my favorite band since the dropped Shoots n ladders back in '94 My trepidation was soon replaced with pure pride and happiness as every giving fan showed her so much Love! And Mom Loved people so much, but it was hard for her to bond because quite often she couldn't really understand what they would say and that broke my poor heart my whole life...I don't think she, or I had ever been so happy as she was sitting in the front row watching korn and staind and Just smoking ear too ear, experiencing the fans, the lights, the energy. She passed a month later... but I am forever indebted to my favorite fucking band and our amazing fans for helping me give my mom what she said was the best night of her entire life.. Like John said in Never, Never...I know I'll never Love again. Mom was my world, and I'm not ok 2 years later... I'm just broken. But I have some comfort in knowing we had the best night of our lives together with Korn...😥😥😥
Glad to see one of my childhood bands and I have matured together. Others need to grow up a bit... KoRn is probably one of the only mainstream bands along MetallicA that I always loved. Maybe it's just a nostalgia thing. Either way, listening to them feels like... home, for some reason. Awesome song!
"And I never want to clarify" FUCKIN' GENIUS Korn my boys are just the best band ever. What incredible lyrics!!....👍💯🤘Beautiful song, I just don't get why people don't like it?? Ko¶N rules
That's the heart and soul of music, especially metal. Ya don't need a reason, just love the hell out of it! Ya can't OD so ya might as well get as much as you can until the day you die! \,,/ (>_
Once you get older you start liking music you never thought you will in your teens. Dont know why, but its seems to be the case with me atleast. I listened very different music in my teen years and i didnt like Korn like at all. Now its one of the bands i like most even the new stuff they do. So go figure. Got to keep an open mind and feel the music and whats it all about. This particular song here i liked it from the moment i heard it first so its not bad song at all. Big thumbs up from me.
Me too, I used to listen to some bands but didn't really stick on their music much , i find myself shifting in moods and I need music that keeps triggering me , so I haven't got to discover the real music that I really loved until I got on the internet and came across one of the great bands on facebook couple of years ago.
Its pathetic to expect an artist to keep the sound they started out with for 20 years. Korn has evolved with the times (as most artists try new things and grow) and I dont think they give a fuck if you like it or not. Its simply an expression of art. This video matches the appeal of the song. Personally I like the experimental edge they've played around with. its dope.
i totally agree it s different and i wanted to add jonathan davis himself said dubstep was the new heavy metal so not surprised korn went to a more electro approach to their music
Agreed. Most bands change their sound. Sometimes I miss the old stuff, but I'd get sick of it after awhile. I recently saw Korn in concert and they were amazing.
I used to listen to korn back in the 90s!!! i love the first twoo albums korn korn, and korn life is peachy,,,,and that was all for me ,,,, i dont expect that they keep they sound like the early albums ,,but i think some bands evolve for good and some dont,,,,for example i love Deftones since early albums till now,,but korn was dead for me since follow the leader,,im not a hater just saying.
The Nothing (2019) is probably Korn's best album since Issues, also one of their heaviest yet. Old school, dark lyricism and heavy toned listeners might want to check it out in full. I loved it.
This is how amazing Korn are, they can do anything. Everyone who I've showed this too loves it and don't usually like Korn.. absolutely love you Korn!!!
KoRn will always be one of my favorite bands. I have been through so much with them, ever since "Blind" first came out. This may not be the same KoRn that was the soundtrack to my life at one point, but I know that people change. People grow up and the same issues that affect us as young people don't necessarily affect us as we get older. Jon may never write another "Clown" or "Daddy," but that's okay. I will always love KoRn no matter what.
They could play any song and still be Korn, times change, people grow older and change. I remember them as the new guys at Ozzfest, lots happened since then. Some people say they wish they could do life over, I am happy to of lived through the BEST era of Rock. I never wanna go back & my times running out faster each day, but what a RIDE it's been :)
I've loved this song since I discovered it years ago. I was showing a friend the masterpiece the other day and have been steadily obsessed with it again ever since. The clock. Jonathan's energy throughout the whole video. The synchronization of everything. A true masterpiece that still gives me goosebumps to this day.
For those of you complaining, I am sure one day your tastes will change and explore other areas of music too. Thanks to KoRn I started enjoying dubstep, Excision my favorite so far. Oh and thanks to KoRn I recently started listening to 90's hip-hop, and all I mainly listen to is every genre and sub-genre (death, black, melodic death, tech death, thrash) in metal. KoRn has experimented with every album if you take the time to recognize that. This is just one song off their amazing new album which is reminiscent of Untouchables and Issues, maybe a little of LIP and FTL as well. So embrace experimentation. These guys are musicians, not sell-outs to Big Fanboyism
Man, you people are fucking stupid for calling them sell outs? lol If youre a real fan, you know what they were going through the first albums. And specially john. Theyre all happy parents now, not 20 year old kids. And they love music. They keep it moving which is the best thing an artist can do.

*steps off soapbox/end rant

@@Frostfire965 I don't care who gets butthurt by it.
I so like agree bro 👿👿👿❤
@@Frostfire965 metallica cult following? More like the biggest most popular main stream heavy metal band of all time.
Collaberative Gaming Channel
Ironically, a lot of people think Korn III was nowhere near their best, mostly because the idea was to go back to their roots, and they honestly couldn't truly do that without Head and Silvera.
Michael Scott
Grim games is right.

After reading some of these comments, I've got to say, if you're familiar with Korn, but we're hearing this song for the first time, I suspect you would know without a doubt that it was them.
And does Jonathan Davis age?

korn is a band that helps everyone that feels the same way as they do, we all share the same pain that made us understand we are stronger an we can overcome, they have helped so many people when no one else was there for them, I know because i am a victim of a sad child hood, I had no one to talk to, everyone around me didn't understand an thought i was weird, I thought i was trully alone on this earth like i was a mistake, but then around 1995 i heard their music, I felt so free an happy knowing I feel what they are saying realizing i am not the only one going threw it, they also go threw it but what they show in their music from my view is show no matter how hard life is, you can always overcome, we all share the same love that this band has done for us growing up, we could all say their style was like being in therapy hearing the truth being pored out setting us all free, an not only that going to their shows we see everyone who has the same intentions an past, i for one am thankful for this band, they helped me become a producer, creating what i feel an putting it on music releasing my soul,
I know alot of you out there will feel the same as i do, an for the other that don't i can really not give a shit, knowing how strong this band has made me, negativity gets scared walking around me knowing it can't hurt me anymore, everything that is pain in my life i went threw to become who i am today, strong an on my two feet doing what i love, I thank Korn the rest of my life for that, Korn thankyou for Being there when others weren't, An thankyou for always being there for the rest of our lifes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Korn Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
Well said!!! ONE NATION UNDER KORN!!!!
Korn was always there for my tough times, so I can relate to your words man. They are one of the reasons I became a musician.
well said!!!!
Man, I couldn't say it better. You're totally right!
OMG 8 year's already!!!?!! Wish I could go back to 99, such a great time in music, the best new genre was blowing everything away, some of the greatest concerts ever!! Hope all you in the metal community are well, we may be small, but we are the BEST family in music
The legendary KoRN. Ill listen to their music until i get old.
Give there new song prey for me a chance :)
I think this song isn't so bad--it's certainly not old koRn.
Do you guys recall what Metallica sounded like when they 1st came out? Know what they sound like now?
Scott F
exactly, they can't just rehash their stuff from prev. works, it would make them stale, all bands do that, then they would release an album similar to what their fans originally loved them for.
Would you guys do the same?
thanks for mentioning the new slipknot album. didnt knew about it, its awesome. unlike this shit. but the dubstep part was cool tho.
Fuck the fans, that's what. Real fans like the band for their core, not their experiments, fuck the fans.
One veggie I will never never live without!! Korn for life baby! 🔥💙✌️
After reading another Brother's Korn story about his Mom, I had to repost mine...
Mom watched
the live telecast they put out a few months before they were scheduled to play Tampa with Staind.
I hadup the sound bar up to 100, which she loved
because Mom was born hard
of hearing so she couldn't really appreciate most music very well.
After the show I told her they
were coming in a month and
she immediately said "I want
to go"!
I felt some kind of
way about taking my mom to
a metal show, lol.
But we
brought her a wheelchair and I was taking my favorite person in the whole world to see my favorite band since the dropped Shoots n ladders back in '94
My trepidation
was soon replaced with pure
pride and happiness as every giving fan showed her so much Love!
And Mom Loved people so much, but it was hard for her to bond because quite often she couldn't really understand what they would say and that broke my poor heart my whole life...I
don't think she, or I had ever been
so happy as she was sitting
in the front row watching
korn and staind and Just smoking ear too ear,
experiencing the fans, the
lights, the energy.
She passed
a month later... but I am
forever indebted to my
favorite fucking band and our amazing fans for
helping me give my mom
what she said was the best
night of her entire life..
Like John said in Never, Never...I know I'll never Love again.
Mom was my world, and I'm not ok 2 years later... I'm just broken.
But I have some comfort in knowing we had the best night of our lives together with Korn...😥😥😥
I can appreciate when a band tries different things. It expands their listening audience.
48 years old one of my favorite bands been listening since korn started. they keep getting better!
Drummer boy is killing it
Never never. Who else is filled with rage…but music therapy…. 😁
Glad to see one of my childhood bands and I have matured together. Others need to grow up a bit...
KoRn is probably one of the only mainstream bands along MetallicA that I always loved. Maybe it's just a nostalgia thing. Either way, listening to them feels like... home, for some reason.
Awesome song!
metallica didn't go from thrash to pop I would listen to load and reload, hell even st anger over this.
Nice icon brah. Dig the fursona
I love that woman in the middle of the clock!
Marry her then
Darrel Grimes
xD
How does Korn still bang a decade later? Deserved.
"And I never want to clarify" FUCKIN' GENIUS Korn my boys are just the best band ever. What incredible lyrics!!....👍💯🤘Beautiful song, I just don't get why people don't like it?? Ko¶N rules
This song hits home with me since the love of my life passed away a few months ago 💔
something about this songs speaks to me, I fucking love it
That's the heart and soul of music, especially metal. Ya don't need a reason, just love the hell out of it! Ya can't OD so ya might as well get as much as you can until the day you die! \,,/ (>_
DarkTrunksSSj3
DarkTrunksSSj3 well and i thought you never gonna love again
+Gabriel Mondragon they don't suck u do
LOVE KORN
LOVE CARROTS
Johnathan Davis,he so unbelievably speaks the truth 💯
I've had a 20+ year crush on this beautiful man named Jonathan Davis & probably always will. 🖤 Korn all the way.
same and im barely 19
Once you get older you start liking music you never thought you will in your teens.
Dont know why, but its seems to be the case with me atleast.
I listened very different music in my teen years and i didnt like Korn like at all. Now its one of the bands i like most even the new stuff they do. So go figure. Got to keep an open mind and feel the music and whats it all about.
This particular song here i liked it from the moment i heard it first so its not bad song at all.
Big thumbs up from me.
Anonymus Alcoholic hell YESS!
So true. It's been the same for me
true af. it happens to me too..
Im with u on this. No more of the people might judge me bullshit. its all about what feels good for u.
I loved it.
@@grlsrfrfggs yo man that's completely fine! Your opinions are valid all the same!
I am 47 and will be jamming out to them as long as there music is still out there even in heaven or hell
The Paradigm Shift is Korn's best album.
I've loved this song since I discovered it years ago. I was showing a friend the masterpiece the other day and have been steadily obsessed with it again ever since. The clock. Jonathan's energy throughout the whole video. The synchronization of everything. A true masterpiece that still gives me goosebumps to this day.
They can make any type of music and it's good.
8/29/2022 and this track, band, and video still remain some of the best around!
This is a masterpiece...yeah I think this is Korn's best of the best song ever🙄🙄👿👿
