@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure I have a Harley-Davidson Night Train that I will never part with but the Harley baggers are just too expensive these days. I'm retired now and want to do some traveling but I'm really too old to do that comfortably on a Night Train so I've thinking about an adventure type bike. Don't really plan to go off road so the HT1100 seems like a better choice.
Hope they upgrade to the new AT engine changes and let us have it in the USA. I’ll never buy a Goldwing and i would trade my NC-750 for the NT. Great video.
Excellent introduction to the bikes features! Just what I like in a video: straight to the point! How does it ride? Did the dealer not allow a test ride?
I once owned a 2015 Africa Twin and sold it because engine vibes intruded to the point that I had to stand on the pegs for long stints after an hour in the saddle. I currently own a Norden 901 which is good for a little longer but I find myself hankering back to the days of in-line fours hence my interest on the Verseys.
@@davidpearce859 nice Norton. I would say that the days of in line fours are numbered with all the emmisions controls in place these days. You will only see them on flagship super bikes. Unless you look at a older bike.
Rode this bike and I can confirm that it is a great touring package. Otherwise I have the Yamaha Tracer 9. Drop by to check my content, you may like it. Cheers.
Had my Crosstourer for 48,000 miles. Now done 1,400 on the NT, it's noticeably lighter and doesn't have the top-heavy feel of the CT. I'm very happy with it so far, and really like the DCT. Roll on summer and trips to France, Germany and Eire.
Hi Ben, nice review. Cracking looking bike!! Is the TFT screen a touch screen with Apple Car Play? I thought it was which is why they have the smaller display underneath it with minimal info in case one has Google Maps etc on the main screen.
Hi Ben, a great review. Did you happen to notice if the front or rear suspension is adjustable ? It's not that much more than my NC750X, may consider it if it comes to Canada.
Nice review. Not sure id go for a twin as a tourer. Prefer 4 pot in the Pan. And tracer is lighter. But i tried it and couldnt get comfortsble. Seems built for less than 6 foot tall people. Will u look at the suzuki gsx?
4 pots are lovely but co2 and emmisions figures are all the rage these days. Twins will become the new norm and 4 pots in the history books unfortunately.
Regarding the Suzuki I'll see what I can do. I managed to secure a partnership with Honda and KTM for reviews and test rides. If they reach out to me I will definitely take a look. Thanks
you are indeed correct. the basics of the bike are the same. nothing bodywork and technical changed, its just the colours that have changed. its still a 2024 bike.
@@gabrieliface1350 i like red. my F800GSA is red. only colour for me. I think there normal USB. Get the USB and 12v connector installed. congrats on your new bike.
I wish Honda would bring this bike to the USA.
Maybe they will. What do you ride?

Hi Phicen. Thank you for your feedback. Test rides will follow later in 2024. Insurance is an issue here but that has been resolved.
I’ve watched numerous videos on this wonderful motorbike, knowing that it’s not sold in the states, total bummer
@@jamestorregrossa1185 yeah I have heard that. I don't understand why
Great report! Was there a reason that you did not include the Kawasaki Verseys 1000 in your list of alternatives?
Thanks David. Appreciate the feedback. I try to keep the list of competitors limited otherwise the video will go on longer.

Thanks Jack. Much appreciated
Thank for this review. If I did not have the Honda Crosstourer this would be on the top of my list 👍
Crosstourer gives you. A bit more offroad options. Good bike that. Friend of mine had the 2015 1200.

Hi there. It has apple Carplay and is touch screen. 👌🏻
This machine is simply awesome. I wish I could buy this in India someday.
Hopefully it will come to you 👍🏻

Happy New Year Cain. Thanks bud
Good review.
I think it looks a little outdated. Nice alternative to all these adventure bikes though.
Thank you very much. Yeah it's interesting bike. Also check out the competitors I mentioned.
“8 valve per cylinder” ???
8 valve in total. Hope I didn't say 8 valves per cylinder as to my knowledge the most I've seen in a car was 5 vavles.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure Having 5 valves on some cars is probably max, I agree on that.
