Own one, in blue. Cracking bike, super planted for a middleweight, great suspensions and chassis. The ride is very competent at high speed and the 4 cylinder is a gem.
So excited to see how the Eclutch goes. Wish more bikes were automatic. Australia is getting the LAMS versions with the eclutch as well which is fantastic. Seriously thinking about it for my first bike, just hope its comfy for me at 6'4
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure If the eclutch lives up to the hype and if i fit the bike well, then yeah most likely. I've got 4 bikes im interested in , Vstrom650, CB500x, KLR650 and the CB650R. The eclutch is huge for me though so right now im leaning towards the CB650R. Just gotta wait till Q3 for the pricing to see if i can afford it as my first bike
Test rode not long ago, cracking bike. You do have to be up in the rev range to get anywhere. Was looking at getting it's bigger brother the cb1000r, again cracking, but doing some longer trips, the lack of cruise control and awful rear shock, the price wasn't justfied at £9,500. Settled on 2017 R1200R in the end for 6k!
The red is gorgeous. I bought one of these recently but could only get it in matt black. Still looks cool but I would have taken the red if I had the option.
Lol yes. When I lived in South Africa it's called a hooter. Although hooter refers to the sound of a steam whistle. Probably an old tear relates to something that creates a sound.
Collecting my one this weekend 😀
Nice! Enjoy it. 👍🏻
Great review
Thank you so much
I’m getting closer to finishing my 1971 Honda CB 175. Can’t wait. That is a great looking bike except for the Gold. Thanks for sharing brother.
Thanks Cain. Post a video when your done. Yeah you don't like the gold forks... 😉

Nice! Seems like a great bike. Looking forward to riding it in 2024.
Nice bike that Ben. Great review thanks. Keep em coming.
thanks Patrick. much appreciated

Yeah looking forward to a test ride with this option on. Are you going for the CB650R?

Isn't it amazing what you can get second hand vs buying a new Japanese bike. I'm sure the CB1000R would be an animal. Thanks for the comment
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure Absolutely. Used s always better. I'm not on the hunt for a weekend toy to go alongside my R1200R.

Yeah the red is stunning. Another reason they continued the colour in the update.
Good informative review.
thanks Brown. try to be as informative as i can.
hello, nice review! may i ask what lowering kit is installed on the bike? thanks
Sur.e. It's a alpha tecknik. German brand.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure thanks!
Did you call the horn a hooter? Lol I’m from Canada and never heard that before
