Im going with a possible bridge for the wetland . Gotta luv this stretch of road that seems like forever to get to Errol. Moose and Loons are nice to drive by tho.
Your comment about the tubes crossing the road to count traffic brought something to mind. I’m 68 now and I just realized that I do t see those tubes like I used to. When I was younger they were pretty commonplace. I wonder what the do now?
We have rubber tubes like those at 03:01 in the UK. Here, a single tube is used to count the number of vehicles. 2 tubes are used to inform the direction and speed of traffic
I was watching a thing on frogs yesterday, did you know you can make a “frog hotel”? It’s a real thing, it has pipes and an LED to attract bugs for the frogs to eat.
Why not Line the Embankment with Clay? Stop Erosion with Natural barrier.? Looking at the Height of the new road in the event of a flood it would be submerged also🤔 Finally looking at a Culvert that is well built 👏
Maybe the Connecticut river on Rt3 in Pittsburg/Colebrook?. I think so anyway. Otherwise Rt 2 but I don't think there is that much rural area on the Androscoggin in NH where it gets that large. Maybe wrong. Fun to speculate though.
@@oldmanofthemountain Yea, perhaps, the more I watch the less I think it is thr Connecticut. That route(26) I usually only the until after the stomach twister hill right after the Balsams hotel. Never followed it all the way into ME.

Maybe sensors that you're not roaming over, but driving by
They have optical sensors now that do that job.

I hope they dig the old asphalt out entirely and places some grown trees along the edge to help get the area stabilized right away.

I hope they don't leave the road. With the erosion that will just end up in the river. Tear it up and plant some trees.
Nice drive and cool stuff to see
Big rains coming from Beryl's remnants Posty! Possibility of big wash-outs! Southern Penobscot County is in a flood watch along with other areas.

NICE!!😊
"Their moving the road to get it away from the road" I know what Post 10 meant, but remember that peoples, roads hate other roads lol
That river looks like it wouldnt take much extra water to flood . It seems quite high in places. Interesting vid post . Thank you 🙂
The road issues are reminding me of the landslide recently near Teton Pass Wyoming
Where is this place!
Post10 do you go to the kinzua bridge in pa every year?

No its route 16 to errol brings you to LL COTE.
@@nhzxboiit's brings to route 26. take a right at the end of 16 by ll cote and brings you to Maine. that way is rural
