  • Today we cover a tool hack on a Harbor Freight Tube Notcher that involves what I did to remedy a problem I encountered when trying to notch tubing for 45 degree angles. The problem comes down not having enough room for the hole saw bit to completely clear the tube on a 45 degree angle. Follow along to see what worked for me at least.

Nice info. Been looking to do a tube project on my 86 C20. This looks like something I will probably need to do. Have to do a little work on my truck, before I get back to working on my old Demon. Thanks, good video !!! 👍

Glad it could be helpful to you! Like I allude to in the video, it might not he the no.1 best option to fix that issue and there may be a better way, but it worked for me and I spent no extra cash! Good luck and thanks!

    Good thinking and info! 👍
I'm curious what kind of bender you use to bend that kind of tubing?

Thanks! Unfortunately, I don't own a tube bender for true mechanical o.d. tube...as they are pretty expensive. So, I have a guy bend it for me since he has a bender with a 6" radius.
