Toen ik een c400 had gekocht 2 jaar geleden, ben ik UA-cam af gaan struinen voor c400 videos. Ik ben op jouw kanaal terecht gekomen omdat je een van de weinige was met videocontent van de c400. Het moment dat je een week moet wachten op je nieuw aangeschafte auto ben ik deels doorgekomen door jouw videos te kijken (-: Leuk om deze video na 6 jaar eigenaarschap te bekijken. Ik ben na 2 jaar ook nog steeds heel erg content met mijn c400 estate en zou deze 2024 idd ook nog steeds aan iedereen aanraden. Bedankt voor je videos man
@@criminolo Erg bedankt voor je reactie, dit waardeer ik echt heel erg. Leukste aan UA-cam is ook het krijgen van reacties zoals die van jou, naast het scheuren in leuke auto’s en motoren natuurlijk. De C400 blijft echt het ultieme pakket voor zijn segment en prijsklasse. Ik wens je heel veel veilige en gelukkige kilometers!
c400/c450/c43 cars have camshaft adjuster rattle when you start the car 2hr after driving it. I don’t recommend the deLirship headaches but otherwise good car besides the front axles clicking
To comment on a couple of downsides - I have facelifted c400 in avantgarde trim. Haven't got any such issues with 9g-tronic as mentioned. Seats are probably one of most comfortable in it's class but of course are below class higher cars (idk if there are actually different seat options available, unless we talk about seats in C43/63, mine are with designo lether, feel soft enough for my butt) e. Creaks are not as bad as I thought (I've read a lot about Mercedes creaks online), I think F30 is worse in that regard. As for the rest, I feel like it's purely preference/equipment difference. I have comfort suspension (no airmatic), which seems alright, probably less stiff but also less flat in corners.
Thank you for comment. They have probably sorted out the 9g-tronic on the facelift. The bottom part of the seats I find hard on very long distances. Designo leather is lovely, great choice to get a car with that option. The creaks are not as bad as dicussed online. The comfort suspension is also a great choice. But the versatility of the air suspension is great to have. Enjoy your facelift C400.
Between the F30 340i and the W205 C400 I would still prefer te C400. Because it is a better allround package. The F30 is definitely way more fun to drive. The engine and transmission are way more sporty. The steering feel is way more direct and sharp. The chassis is more playful and the car feels much lighter. But the new G30 M340i is an even better allround package and I would choose that one over the C400.
