Nice hotel room. I am still amazed at how inexpensive the rooms in Thailand can be. My favorite hotel down in Pattaya used to be Secrets Hotel for $20 per night. I stayed there for a month at one point with no complaints. I used to stay at all the popular western branded hotels, like Marriott, Hard Rock but just not a great value. Great video keep it up.

Couldn't believe how fast the internet speed was. 5 Star hotels need to take a chapter from Hotel Solo book! Or maybe Wifi is fast because it is a small hotel? Less people competing to use Wifi, not sure 🤔

Thanks for giving us a comprehensive tour of Hotel Solo. Very helpful indeed to see the nearby establishments. It seems like there’s no offered welcome drinks nor breakfast in the hotel. Still, it is relatively cheap and anyone can still consider for a budgeted trip.
I could stay there long term for that price. The thing about a WiFi test at a hotel can be when it is done. I’ve stayed at some hotels where you get great WiFi midday but horrible early morning and early evening.

I never got the breakfast package, but I do recall guests saying that breakfast sucked. There is a tuk tuk they provide to get you to Sukhumvit. The walk is a pain in the ass but I didn't mind because I liked the hotel so much. It's a shame they let the place deteriorate. Also, it's not normally an $18 hotel, but yeah, it's reasonably priced. I've moved on though. There are much better places to stay for the same price.
That’s the area I always stay in when in BKK and I pay way more than that! It’s really nice for the price and would cost at least $50-$60 a night here!
Haha 😂 Yeah I thought that mirror was kind of weird. The main downside of this hotel is that it is far from the entrance of the soi, you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the main street. Besides that no complaints at all 😎🙌
@@JULIANKGLASSER Yeah, the price really shot up on Agoda for The Quarter Ari. I stayed there because of your video actually. Amazing view, and a very nice hotel. The prices on Agoda go up and down quite a bit for lots of hotels depending on the day.
Yeah hotel prices fluctuate, I can only share the price I paid for the room at that moment in time. Supply and Demand is what will drive the prices up or down

In the summer of 2018 this hotel was 95$ a night no breakfast, Aspen hotel adjacent to solo was better price.
