- I Stayed at the Most Iconic Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. In this video I will be sharing with you my experience of staying at one of the most famous properties in the city of Bangkok. The Lebua Hotel is famously known for its iconic rooftop that was featured in the film, The Hangover Part 2 and it was also where the crew stayed during their time of filming in Bangkok. If you're looking for things to do in Bangkok or hotels to stay in while in Bangkok this is the right video for you!

$40 for 1 drink. Even with that view I would still be in the free drink lounge. And you have to stand the whole time. I can see the beauty and checking it off a bucket list. The view was breathtaking.
$40 for a normal drink is insane. For a super rare 35 plus year old scotch or something, maybe. 40 bucks and you can't even sit down. LOL
Bro I even got my 16 year old on your videos he loves it makes him plan future trips in life. Also Chris I been watching videos from the beginning 5yr old videos and I noticed you haven’t changed your awesome humble ways unlike other bloggers I fallow that with time change and become more cocky and rude to people. I respect you and that’s why your our new favorite blogger bro 💯 your a real one
Chris, thank you for sharing and keeping it real!
You have made my experience around Thailand amazing with a lot of your recommendations!
Thanks so much for this vid,its so awesome ❤ im so glad to see your progress and well deserve good things, what give is what you receive thats well said, blessings Chris❤
I really full-joyed your video! Thanks for sharing your international travels and experiences! ❤
beautiful video as always thanks for sharing Chris 👍
Thanks , This The Great Bangkok Tour !
All The Best to You !
Here we Gooooo again 🔥🔥🔥 didn’t expect a video today but I’m ready 👀
Hope you enjoyed it bro!!
Hey Chris! Cool video. I've actually been to that bar before. I went there around 2016. It was a short walk from my hotel at the Center Pointe Silom, which I could totally see from the skyline view. I know that is in the Bangrak area. Yes, it's really pricey, but you are there to enjoy an experience and this is about living in the moment. Glad you had a good time on this trip to Thailand. You're making me really want to re-visit there again after 5 years away.
Another great vid!!
agree
Love this video!! Love it when you treat yourself. You deserve it dude! Hope to see you and Gladys living up there soon again.
Thank you so much for the love always!
How/where did you get all inclusive food and drink package? I live in Bangkok. Considering a staycation there.
It’s beautiful 😍 yes!!! I would love to see you and Gladys at this hotel - please take video “ love my country Thailand 🇹🇭 “🙏🏻
I noticed many non-Thais working at the Lebua Hotel. The accents I heard from the staff sounded Filipino and maybe, Indonesian.
yup…i noticed that too…
Maybe I should work there at Lebua for a few months! haha
I noticed as well. His appearance and accent lead me to believe he is from Myanmar rather than the Philippines or Indonesia.
I’m not very familiar with how non-Thais can obtain work permits in the hotel industry for general positions like room clerk or concierge. From what I know, many high-end hotels mostly offer positions to foreigners in leadership roles that require special skills like the general manager, residence manager, head chef, and Wine Sommelier for example.
@@weekdaycycling - It's Thailand's lack of workers with English fluency. The hospitality industry in Thailand recruits English speaking workers from other countries to work in hotels and resorts that caters to English speaking tourists.
Absolutely Chris, would love to see another experience here wth Gladys, beautiful vdo as usual, Take CAre Bro
Wow !! The views are amazing. A 5 star hotel like that is definitely on my bucket list.
Definitely! I recommend! I Appreciate the support 🙏🏻
Keep up the great content bro chris 😊
ahh man, was searching for a quality video of this place. cant be better, definitely will spend a night or 2 in december
I actually watched the Hangover movie again after watching your video 😃 great work Chris!

Dayyyummm that view was insane from the bar!! Awesome video bro💪🏽💪🏽
Thanks a lot bro! Definitely a cool spot, but they are taxin!!! 🤣
Amazing content, thank you... my girlfriend just shared this with me... we now are planning on staying at the Lebua... in a few weeks from now.. thank you... at least now we won't be shocked by feeling like drinks not included... etc... we now know the gig. Nicely done, really like your communication style, well done. Thanks for keeping it real.
Sup Chris, love your vids and admiring your travels... I am a BIG fan of the Marriott properties but might have to give the Lebua Hotel a try just for the view and amenities. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for the support!
Hi Chris, great interesting video mate, take care bro 👍 hope you have a great weekend 👍
Hey brother! Thank you! I also hope you have a great one!
Im there at November. I can’t wait to be in Bangkok with this view ❤
I love that balcony! Great Views
Yes incredible views!!! Thanks for watching!
Hey Chris incredible experience that was impressed by the hospitality ❤
Thanks for watching!
@@Travelwithchris My pleasure bro
Stayed there in 2012, it was a bit rough around the edges. Now it looks okej. Great video
Man I was just looking at staying there! $300 is fair considering you got a full suite, if you had a small family or friends to share it with that would be more ideal (cost effective). I'll be there next week and I'll be traveling to Cambodia the following week as well, safe travels!
you inspired me to going to Kuala Lumpur, and i will visit Bob.. youre vlogs are so energyfull, and please stay humble as you are, helping people is such a good deed.. keep going on this way, greetings from the Netherlands(origin Turkish🇹🇷)
Same. Im going to kl later this year on the back of a few vloggers recommendations!
So happy to hear that! You're going to love that city so much!
Chris You 're A Real Cool Deal and I LIKE
👍🏆 👍 Your Videos 📸 Keep Them Rollin
Beautiful view. A great view and location with the family.
Yes, thank you!
Last time we stayed in the Lebua, they had over-booked their regular rooms - they upgraded us to a two bedroom, three balcony suite on a high floor. Score!
Love all ur video Chris
I like before watching!😎
👍
I appreciate that so much!
Ah man I was there in June and saw this hotel from the icon siam mall. May have to stay there next time
Hey Chris, i enjoy your Journey's. I appreciate your kind heart and fair assessments. I will be in Thailand for Songkran, April 06-24. I need to check those out!
I stayed there for a week earlier this year. Very fun video. My girlfriend and I are going back to Asia soon. LMK if you are ever in Tampa and we will give you a tour so you can do a video here. :)
Keep in touch.
I stayed 2 nights in Lebua, great views, especially from roof, sunsets (if you pick river view) lovely large rooms and great breakfast, had to experience it but its not me.
Thailand! My beautiful country!
❤️🇹🇭
Great video😊😊
The place was huge, and definitely the free drinks!! And food🎉🎉🎉 Now that we know we must have pants, everyone bring a small carryon with pants and a bath suit😂😂😂. Great Vid Chris

Beautiful views from that roofbar
NIce
Bro I love the videos, I've been obsessed with your sunglasses bro, they are Oakley but can you tell me what model are they and what size since yours look bigger than the ones I saw online and I need bigger sunglasses as well, I appreciate it so much man
Love your video ❤
Thanks for sharing bro
❤❤ great video thanks
Nice video mr 😊
lol you look blazed AF bro sweet as place but the drinks on rooftop are too wildly priced bruh, great flick man cheers
Chris you got good value there,, friends of mine stayed there 12 years ago, room was $150 Australian but they paid $70 for 2 cocktails.. haha.
Nice one mate went there once just for drinks great views
I definitely will be back for drinks again also! Views were epic!
No one does rooftop bars better than Bangkok. Cheers!
Its Beautifull, I will do my Holiday to Thailand.
Yes you must visit!
Great place I was out there a few years back. Stayed there for 3 nights. It was very expensive, but I don't regret it. Place is beautiful ,area is a little sketchy.....
Glad you enjoyed your time! Thanks for sharing!
I definitely recommend the Sitara Hotel. It's affordable. And, the owner is a very welcoming and nice Indian man. I stayed 3x between 2021 and 2022. The area is perfect. I love Bangkok!
Yes!! Thanks for sharing!
brother that room with wood paneling looks like a time warp into the 70s reminded me of those wooden station wagons terrible room
i think thats why they are doing some renovation works at some of those floors..to upgrade the rooms.. n once that’s done, your room/floor might be next… its about time for that hotel to do some upgrades..
The interior design and materials used in the room give off a partially old-school vibe. While it offers ample space, it doesn’t quite give out the stylishness one might expect compared to other new 5-star hotels. The telephone and curtain sticks look outdated, while many modern hotels opt for full home automation. You can control stuff from your bed.
The Marriott Marquis Queens Park along the busy Sukhumvit is also lovely
I need to try that!
very nice hotel, very nice room. thank you.
need more luxury stuff like this...
I'll definitely make more!
follow from Bangladesh . Welcome to Thailand , The land of smile
Thank you for the love!
I stayed here back in 2009. Amazing hotel. Prices were a fair bit cheaper back then before The Hangover made it mega famous, but a truly amazing hotel 🙏 🇹🇭
Wow did it look like much has changed since?
@@Travelwithchris It wasn’t quite as pricey back then but still one of the top 2-3 Bangkok hotels.
Bangkok has actually got so many recently opened super lux hotels that have replaced the Shangri la and Lebua of yesteryear's. It's one of the greatest cities for lux hotels in the world IMHO.
I never got a warm welcome either it was actually like we weren't wanted there - I went to a $100 a week in Samui after, and that was much better 😊
Nice view bro!
Thanks brother! It was a good time!
I stayed in that hotel too, but in different floor. Best view balcony.
Yes!!! I need those views in my life more often!
Chris, I got caught up with the LONG PANTS RULE, but wasn't staying there. Conveniently, there was a tailor within the Lebua where I had to buy a pair of black stretch denim pants to save the day. I'm surprised they haven't told you off for "filming the menu/drink list" because just inside sitting at the table, I was abruptly told I was not allowed to, just as I neared the last page. THE DRINKS were INSANELY OVER PRICED!
hai christ ...greetings from brunei 🇧🇳🇧🇳 your bruneian subscriber
Thanks for subbing!
I hope to go back to Brunei again one day!
i hope to see you coming back to visit brunei again bro and bring along your brother and gladys .. wish you all the best bro & take care bye
I was shocked the price of cocktails, anyway I like when you talk to staff very polite, enjoy sir.🎉
Yes very expensive! Great experience though!
woo hoo! I stayed at Le Bus on my wedding night 16 years ago
(Bangkok) Try using the above ground electric train. And the subway, or not yet?
most expensive drink has (if i didn't mishear) has jw blue label.. and that IS smooth whiskey. you gotta try.
Agoda is great I always find great deals there !
View was nice from the cocktail bar but the staff was a bit flat.
Yes bro loving your videos Chris 👊🏿💯💯
Looks great. On Agoda it was 151/ night 77 meters. Complementary drinks breakfast, etc.
That is a deal!! Jump on that!
Nice, reminds me on Bodrum last sommer
Thank you Chris
Very welcome! 🙏🏻
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
I have booked exactly the same package as you for one night in October for two people £150 total. Treating myself and daughter for her 21st birthday
Chris. New subscriber here. Not sure if you're familiar with Cajun food, but you have to check out Bourbon Street Bangkok in Ekkamai. You won't be disappointed.
137 Pillars in Bangkok is good. Stayed there last hear in December.
I would love to hear your top 5 hotels across the world
Yes please more
Great video. Do you tip over there like in the U.S.? Looks like they are trying to cash in because of the movie being filmed there.
It always tastes better when it’s free lol
I get a lot of free food and drink as a refrigeration engineer and that is my phrase I use with my family lol

Stayed there myself last year but booked during covid, so for some reason, it was still the covud price that far in advance £120
I regretted buying 3 drinks there before i knew the price of them 😮

😉
I need to do that!!!
@@Travelwithchris Please,please do !!!
We love your videos Hermano !
Forgot to mention, staff were great 👍 I didn’t need the suite 😂 most rooms are big
I think the View in King Power Mahanakhon, the hightest building in bangkok with 314m is much nicer and definetly worth a visit.
Yes that view is amazing!
So good 👍
