In Sukhumvit area, you can also find from budget hotels, five star hotels, airbnb and service apartments. Affordable and expensive massage places and spas. Night markets, shopping malls, all kinds of bars & restaurants. Convention centre is here as well. Several big hospitals as well like MedPark, Bumrungrad and Samitivej, the Benjasiri Park, Around 30mins (20-22km) from the airport (BKK&DMK). Also consider the traffic in this area as it can get super congested. Esp during noon and rush-hour period if you’ll gonna travel around by car/tuktuk/motorbike. But good thing it is close as well to BTS Stations or MTR (mainly Sukhumvit station).
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm trying to plan a trip to Bangkok from Melbourne and I was struggling to pick between these 4 areas, you've narrowed it down and helped a lot!
I stayed near Si Lom and it was perfectly located. Marriott Surawongse beautiful property and I took taxi to the water taxis. Icon Siam and the Sook food court was a favourite. I loved Bangkok
thank you very much for all the information you give. You are not the first youtuber that i watch on this topic, and its very relieving to get some reassurance from multiple sources for my trip to thailand. :) i wish you all the best in life.
Thank you, Juhui. I love your videos. they provide the information I'm always looking for. I've followed and utilized your info on Portugal, Iceland and now Thailand which I'm heading to next month. This was so helpful deciding where to stay. I hope you are heading to Bali soon. Would love info!

And I'm so excited to hear you're heading to Thailand next month and then Bali next! 😍 I wish you happy travels and thank you so much for sharing your travel journey :)
Thank you so much for this video! Which neighborhoods would you recommend if we would like to find a hotel where we are able to walk to restaurants right from the hotel without having to take a cab or a subway?
I'm thinking I want to stay close to Jodd fairs when I travel to Thailand later this year, and I also really want to see Wat Arun, and go on a small boat tour.
There are several waterfront restaurants to choose from! We've been to Chom Arun. They had a nice view and live music. Here's a clip (3:52) ua-cam.com/video/uZzPSZ_giko/v-deo.htmlsi=XGrfR-xLcwu4_jMb Hope this helps!
Great work on this 4 areas. Really good information. 😍 You are right, in Phra Nakhon Area is one of the conservative area. There are law and Bangkok rules prohibit to build a tall building. There are many factor that relate to this law and this law is apply to other area as well, such as Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, etc.
This video was meant to give a general idea of where to look for hotels in Bangkok. For more detailed recommendations, I would search for videos made by the locals - there are so many good ones!
She has never been to Bangkok before making the video? Sukhumvit not a lot of tourist attractions? Nana and Asok bts are right next to some of the most popular nightlife for tourists. Not for me, but absolutely not right to call Sukhumvit just a non-tourist business area...

Which room type did you select at Arun riverside? I am hoping to book a similar view - is that the "Grand Deluxe"?
I believe it was the "Suite Room with river view", and it was the corner room on the 4th floor. Hope you get the room, and happy travels!
Is this hotel recommended to stay with kids
Hi, what is the name of your hotel by the river in Phra Nakhon ? Thank you.
It's mentioned in the video!
It’s Arun Riverside.
2:23 Arun Riverside hotel
4:50 The Standard
Can you itemize the hotel name, restaurant name, beach name you went so better to list in my vacation?

Hello do you have any recommend channels to follow?
Thonglor is the place to be for young hipsters. Silom is more businessy
You forgot Soi Cowboy and Nanna Plaza
how far is metro
If I want to rent a condo in Bangkok close to the action for one month tell me wear anybody
I care more about myself than my luggage when it comes to using the elevator. This hotel is definitely not for me.
Its called "Soo koom vit"
NOT scum vit. 😉😜
Thanks for the correction!
Tell that to rich people
