    Yes its not hard by the video you posted. I just spent $300 and its still hard to start and vibrates when RPM is over 3200. I hope this help get rid of some of the vibration. Thanks for the video. Great job!

    That works for me. Many thanks for taking the time to put that up. I'll do this on my 08 at some point even though it is running pretty well.

    Dude, I'm in love with those blacked out engine covers. Classic is covered in chrome and I want black. Oh, and way to keep the pimp hand strong there at 1:52.

    You forgot to mention that the engine should be up to operating temp before checking and/or adjusting. And others (and I totally agree) recommend that you not “blip” the engine.

    Hi man, Thanks for this video! It helped. Your bike is looking nice, where did you get the braided clutch and throttle lines from? And what length are they. Guessing you have 12" apes?
    Cheers

      @camboarder21  10 років тому

      awesome man! glad you found this useful. appreciate the compliment...the ss lines are Baron brand..can't remember what online store I purchased from, probably motorcycle superstore though. I actually only had 10" mini apes in this video. I've since sized down to biltwell trackers...I couldn't steer the bike for sh*t with the apes lol.

      whoops, one more thing, I couldn't find a 10" kit...so that is a 12" kit...but only for a 10" bar.

    You are spot on, but i think your bleeds are a small touch open, i'd say you have a good balance, those bleeds will settle the reading down a bit...

    Google "Morgan Carbtune". I ordered it from an UK company at the high recommendations from a lot of the guys on an Fz8 forum I belong to. It's better than the motion pro (that's readily available on amazon and ebay) because you don't have to adjust it before each use. The Morgan Carbtune is ready to go everytime you need it. It's slightly more expensive (US$100) but it's worth it. However, most guys just go the $5 route and build their own...but I'm half retarded and don't think I could've built a functioning one.
    As far as four ports vs two ports...according to the manual there were only two ports to plug up to. This threw me off at first too because on my sport bike there are four 'throttle bodies' to balance so I was expecting the same configuration when doing this bike. But after a lot of research and talking to other vstar owners...this bike has two 'carbs'...so you're only going to use two vacuum lines. and thus my confusion was cleared. FYI, I'm a motorcycle noob and this stuff might be common knowledge to most folks but it's g'damn rocket science to me lol.
    Thanks for watching and good luck! I hope this vid and reply comment was helpful. sorry for the late response, I don't check youtube very often.

    Where do you get the synchronizer tool? Also, aren't you suppose to sync all four ports? I see you only connected to two different vacuum ports. Thanks for the vid man
