I really like the interior light, in my case I would want to splice them into the light wire that is already under there, me I just want clear but brighter than factory. Going to do something similar to what you did, but be able to utilize it every time I open the door. I have used up my aux switches months ago, lol.
Wrangler JL Mods and Trail Videos I thought about that too. It’s nice having the extra bright white lighting at your feet.
I did something like that to my Toyota Corolla I have no bought it needed a car till I can save up enough money to buy a Jeep 😂 love the lights and gonna be one of my first mods because cheap simple and easy for me because I'm a electrician

I watched another interior lighting video and they used an aux wire that Jeep puts in passenger side behind glove box. That wire is also controlled by dash switches.
That’s what we used. Only vehicles equipped with the Tow package have the Aux switches and wiring.
ShockerRacing - Mojito Jeep x Neon Gladiator JT I have the tow package and am looking to add the four footwell led lighting strips like you did. My question has to do with the terminal box that you installed on the glove box housing area. Is that a necessary step? I was hoping that I could do all of my wiring from the aux switch bundle in the passenger floorwell by tieing the back lights and front lights into the wiring that is there. Rookie at wiring but in my head it makes sense. Also, is your ground wire coming off the engine power wire? I just want to make sure that all of my ducks are in a row. Also, what type of wire terminal (white) female/male adapters did you use? Clean look and perfect size for the space.
Did you need 2 remotes, 1 for grille and 1 for footwells. Just trying to figure out if I have to spend an extra $60. TIA.

Did you have problems wiring the interior lights to the auxiliary switches. The ground you used is grounding you auxiliary hot and will burn out the control box for your lights
I’ve had it installed for 2 years and never had an issue.
I fortunately I don’t have an auxiliary with my Jeep and I was just wondering if I still select the power source in a different form? I have a 19mm latching push button switche spdt ON/OFF.

diego marcelino the switch from DD should be able to be wired to the power from the lighter, then the main harness can get power from a fuse and use the same ground we used.

You need to add the Bluetooth RGB Controller with the lights.
Will this effect the car warranty? Also how lol get was the process?
diego marcelino warranties are very subjective per dealer, but in reality this shouldn’t affect the warranty. This is all wired to the factory supplied wiring harness and auxiliary switches that are intended for lighting and additional accessories.
How far are you going with the jeep build?
