We need people like you so we can reach poor Filipino families, one at a time.
I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?

It is obvious she is very sick. She is skin and bones. She is in a great pain.
It's hurts me to see this woman in such pain 😞 I'm happy she now has the money to go to the doctors.. thanks to the donors 🎉

Mark has uploaded videos of how bad the roads are in the Philipines. This poor woman is in so much pain, it's hard for her to sit up. I cannot imagine how difficult it will be for this frail woman to endure the agonizing bumpy ride to get to the doctor. And I hope the doctor and transportation fees do not take up the majority of the 23,600 pesos and there will be enough money for the much pain medication.
This is beyond heart breaking, the lack of available and affordable healthcare in the Philippines is Scandalous! The priority here is clearly to see a doctor and obtain some effective painkilling medication to, at least, give her some relief from her constant torment. God Bless them both. Thank you to the Team for going back to them. However, I have 2 criticisms (1) We should not have been shown confidential medical records, an assurance from the team would have been sufficient. Frankly, in this case the exact cause of her illness is both immaterial and academic! (2) There was absolutely no necessity to pose the poor couple with their donation at the end when we had already seen the money counted out. We must NOT rob these people of their dignity, they have little else.

I definitely agree on number 2.
I do not see a logical reason why Cesar had to have them pose like that, though I understand why Cesar did that.
Cesar doesn't think smartly & logically and often follow his script, so it's not a surprise.
Rest assured, that Cesar's intention was good and not to slash their dignity. He just doesn't think smart, that's all.
About number 1:
I disagree with you strongly.
We've been showing findings/diagnosis of the sick people we reach out since 2015.
We do not reveal the identities/addresses of these people and the doctors who check up on them, so no confidential records were/are broken in my technical perspective.
What if those/these people just play an act; for them to gain the sympathies of the viewers for money?
It's better to show something to the viewers than to show nothing at all.

I'm sure I speak for Patricia as well as the 3 WM that our contributions were in no way contingent on this lady having bone cancer, rarely have we seen a person more in need of our help - literally "knocking at death's door". Of course there will be those who play act or exaggerate their condition in order to get assistance but clearly this is not the case here. I realise that you wish to protect Donors from fraud but this was going too far in my opinion and totally unnecessary. You obviously feel justified in sharing someone's confidential medical records with the entire world but I'm confident that ANY member of the Medical Profession would Strongly disagree with you.

I seen online they're places that make and sell cannabis oil in parts of manilla and the outskirts, I know it's illegal in the Philippines and carries very harsh penalties but fuck that women deserves some comfort.
I wonder would the husband be able to get it for her?
I knows it's a risk, I also make these oils in a country where it's illegal but the penalties in my country are way less.
The amount of pain this women is in... It's heartbreaking.
