I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?

I think Schools should be free for everyone rich or poor
There are public schools in the Philippines up to high school.
The problems:
1. Inadequate school facilities and also too crowded with students.
There are classes where one class is composed of 100 to 200 students. That's a lot of students for just one teacher to handle.
2. Education quality is very poor. Majority of Filipino students are poor in Math, Science and Reading comprehension.
3. Rampant corruption in Department of Education.
4. School food snacks, school uniforms and school supplies are not free, so many parents don't send their children to school because of economic poverty.
5. Child labor is rampant in the Philippines.
Many children choose to work at a young age instead of staying/going in/to school.

P.S. Many classes are not even being conducted inside a classroom because all classrooms are occupied.
Some are being conducted under a tree outside, out on the field somewhere or wherever.

It’s so sad there’s no organization, charity or government groups that supplies food and books to poor children at schools so they can attend as well.
If I would become the leader of the Philippines: I will make sure that education is one of the top priorities.

Don't need money to build any school there lot of teachers in the Philippines you can build schools in any rural areas empty warehouse old hospitals can convert into schools including churches people in any area of the Philippines can build schools baboon huts can be schools there no excuse for kids and anyone be educated the right way and the truth history of the world ❤

I was in the Philippines recently. I saw a lot of nice cars. Ford trucks, Range Rovers et c. I didn't really see any poverty. Not everyone could afford a car. But the homeless children was not the norm.

It is not just cuba that has fre education so does the United states of America from kindergarten to 12 grade its free for all and our country is even thinking of making college free I agree that our country is going thru a lot right now without a good leader, but that will all change the United states is a great country and will remain so

Kids need education I bet if you handed the older ones a working for they would be on the internet real quick and if they can do that then there isn't an excuse not to be educated as the internet can do that at all levels
