They are not dumb, they know what they are doing. They want what they want when they want it.
The guards need to enforce the rules. If they don't, then don't expect tourist to follow them.
I’ve come to the conclusion that these are not official guards. They’re mannequins, especially sir GQ with the beard.
So im glad they have started to take control of the caos, But these guards are going to have to sort themselves out. Cant shout at one and not the other, Its already becoming a game, You either allow inside the box and touching or you dont allow, Cant have it both ways !
Those guards are such a disappointment 😠 none of them didn't force the new rules on these entitled tourists 😡..
Taxpayers deserve an explanation why you don't seriously enforce the rules and signs. The money were wasted on the resources and enforcement of this change. Is this fair or not? Anybody?
You are losing people's interest. I don't want to continually see videos advertising that these people are supposed to be following rules not to harass the horses. But they're still harassing the horses and even most of the guards do nothing! What is the point of the signs and the painted lines if no one does anything to enforce the rules. My lord. Don't touch the horse! I was taught as a girl not to just touch other people's horses without permission. Like touching another person without permission. It's rude and might get you smacked, kicked, or bit. It's just common sense. I love the mounted King's Guard. I have for years. But I'm sick and tired of people refusing to respect the soldiers or their mounts.
They think the white lines mean “ step in box for photo” 🙄🤯
It's funny how the British military has no idea of strictly following the rules．If a tourist gets hurt，the guard who won't say anything will take full responsibility😆🤭

I'd have a sign saying " step inside the white lines its a £50 fine, if you touch the horse its the same.Maybe these ignoreinmuses peole who think thry are entitled will get the rules and anide by tgem. Yhe money could go to the continued upkeep of the horses or to a charity.
Why aren't the Guards enforcing the rules? If they cannot do their duty as the KING'S GUARDS, how in God's name can they GUARD the King?? Lazy BOYS need to be replaced, and real GUARDS do their duty!
The guards are not protecting there horses. They should be shouting at the tourists.
They should get yelled at if they cross the white lines … the horses seem to be better if they’re not touched
Why don't they put up a sign with a picture of a real horse , and DON'T TOUCH SIGN on both sides of the box ...

There is all this talk about how well the horses are treated by only being on duty an hour at a time etc, but is it really that well when a lot of them are nervous nellies for that hour?
What is the point its not as if the guards have a lot to do, just tell the morons to stay away from the horse and out of the box, is that too hard.

They need signs both side of the horse box. People enter from the other side where there's no sign...mind you not many take notice anyway🫣
