My tremendous respect for obaasan❤. Her 60 years of dedication to make Mitarashi Dango Dumplings for her loyal local patrons❤🙏. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us☺️.
Thank you for your kind words!
Love to see Grandma keeping the Food and Culture alive, hope everyone is doing well and safe there!
Yes,it is truly wonderful to see her at work!
respect to grandma Hatsue, love the hard work and dedication to traditional recipe, I also love some of her secrets to success: garlic and alcohol! I do want to try these Dango's : )
Love your new Series for 2024, hope there will be much more of it. Impressive woman❤️
We hope so too! Thank you!

This video is so well made, and so interesting!

What a wonderful woman. She had a hard life ,but she seems happy.
Yes, very content lady!
What a blessing it is to love your job
Truly!
What an admirable woman!
Really loving this new style! Please make more yeah 😄
Thank you! Will do!
Wholesome!🤍🤍
Thank you!
simplicity refined to perfection! I would love to try dango at some point
You should!
Although as many Japanese, she is good at what she does, I can't help but think maybe she dreams somedays of doing something else.
Don't we all? O:)
We always support your activities, especially informative video clips for Australians and Kiwis who are very keen to visit Japan.
Our pleasure! Thank you so much!
Not really a fan of dango but I do remember when that song "Dango San-kyo-dai" was popular.
She needs a cat making the dango like monster hunter rise
It looks great! She seems like such a sweetheart of a lady. 👍
She is an absolute angel!
Love her. She works hard. 😍😍😍
We love her too!
What a wholesome video.
Glad you liked it!
She is AMAZING!
She is!!!
美味しいそうですよ。
❤
I’d love to visit this shop! The Google Maps link in the description doesn’t seem to be working, though?
It should work now! Please check it out! If the link does not work, try pasting the address into google maps.
Where is shizuka and is she okay?
Shizuka isn’t in every video lol as much as we want her to be
She would be definitely on a break over the holiday season that’s all ✌🏻
She's pregnant
@@onion_____lol what 🤣
Thank you for the concern!! We are just trying out an additional documentary-style series on the channel that focuses on the Japanese business-owners/craftspeople, especially the obaachans! (Grandmas!) ❤️
She talks about her childhood hardships with a smile and a laugh, but I wish it was different for her.
Bittersweet
Watching this makes me craving for mitarashi dango. But there's no one that sells these in my city 😢
Oh what a shame! You can however easily make them at home!!!
Where is Shizuka? 😢
I’m curious, does she have somebody to continue making dango after her? Or history can stop at some point…(
She does not as of now, let's hope for the best!
We want Shizuka!!! Only reason I watch this channel
I think she's sick
Or on a Xmas break when this was filmed
Haha don’t worry, I’m fine! We just started an additional series on the channel that focuses on the craftspeople/business-owners! Like the charming obaachans (grandmas)! ❤️❤️
How does it taste like?
Unlike other Mitarashi dango that have a sweet, almost honey like taste, this traditional soy sauce dango is savory! Very nostalgic!
@@JapanbyFoodIs it like chewy rice cakes with a smokey soy sauce flavour? I'm struggling to imagine but it looks delicious...
I know she can afford it, but I hope someone gives this sweet auntie a smart phone.
She deserves one!
The narrator sounds like a robot.
edit: it's NOT actually an AI voice; Shizuka lost her voice in the last episode.
@@MrPootzenNo, it’s a real narrator lol 😆. My voice is all better! ❤️
@@ShizukaAnderson My mistake, glad to hear you're doing better!
Where the hell is the drunk girl?💔
Is that me? 🤣🤣
@@ShizukaAnderson yes!😂
