The comedic timing of you trying to resist the kittie kimono and then BOTH of you wearing it in the next shot…omg, Sharla, you are a genius 🤣🤣🤣💀
I laughed SO hard at that.
Haha, I came here to comment the same thing!
Haha It's so subtle it's hilarious :'D
I had to go back and watch it again....LOL!
I loved this part!! XD
You trying to resist that kimono then wearing it in the next shot made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Show me how to say no to this/I don't know how to say know to this~ 😂
Same! Lol!
same i was dying and also so jealous, love those colours!
I did that too!
I love when you two are together. When I see Ushka I know it's going to be an extra wholesome time!
Sharla and Ushka = wholesome fun! It's like watching your besties on tv! Shopping, eating, crafting and cultural experiences - love it!! Thank you for sharing your joy with us 🧡
Ushka seems like such a sweet person!
Every time Ushka appears in a video it’s like seeing your favourite cousin you only get to see once a year on special occasions. She’s so lovely. 🤍
i agree 100% ☺️
I love having dinner and watching Sharla enjoy everything she sees and tries out, it's just the positive vibes you need after a long day 😊
facts, as a student eating dinners alone, watching sharla or other tokyo creative creators is such a vibe
@@higoodbye7545agree! 🤍
Add to to that, teachers eating dinner alone 🤗
Although I know Japan doesn't have Thanksgiving, it is Thanksgiving here today and I'd like to wish you Sharla, Chris, Maro, Tuna, and your friends, a day of Happiness and Togetherness. Happy Thanksgiving in spirit.
Thank you so much!! Same to you🫶🏻❤️
I love Ayako Ishiguro’s work! Also crazy fact, she's married to Junji Ito!
WHAT I had no idea! How cool!! Coolest couple ever!! 😍
9:08 they're talking about Chris and Sharla's watch lights up revealing Chris as her wallpaper is so cute!
I'm really glad Kyoto is rebounding with tourists allowed to visit again. It was pretty dire when Japan was closed, Kyoto was a ghost town and the city was facing bankruptcy. As much as the locals may dislike the endless streams of gaijin, the visitors sure do prop up the economy. I was lucky enough to visit Kyoto one November and it was stunning. I would love to go back, we only had one day there and it was not enough! Loved the video, really enjoyed seeing all the cool stuff you two bought!
I don’t wear jewelry either, but if my woman handmade me a ring, I would never take it off. And you’re Depeche Mode fan?
Chris is a lucky man indeed.
Your videos are giving me the motivation to get my passport and start planning a trip to Japan! Your videography is great and you really help emphasise how beautiful the country is, keep it up!💖
Thanks for the kind words!! I hope you get a chance to visit soon 😍
The kimonos are gorgeous. Love the colours and the print. The incense cat is fabulous. I love the look on the cat’s face.
me too! been learning Japanese on Duolingo 286 straight days so far.
すみません日本政府は宣伝費としていくら払っていますか? 日本人はこの技がとても上手です
@@rongyaowang1075 wakarimasen. 🤷♂️
Love how your fortune was basically "if I fits I sits"
I feel like you've put more Japanese up on the screen in this video than usual and I just wanted to say as someone learning Japanese I really enjoyed this! ❤
Good to know it was helpful!! I’ll keep doing it when i mention Japanese words :)
@@sharlainjapan naww yay! I'd love this 😀
There has been soo many persons Sharla has made videos with over the years. Some more interesting than others... But this duo and these type of videos are just the best to be honest. You both seme to have fun in a real way. I just can't imagine UA-cam without Sharla.
I've been watching you and Chris and Tokidoki Emma for like a billion years now and I still look at a video like this one with my jaw open and eyes stuck to the screen. How can it be so pretty. Shedding tears at my silly little work desk. Need to see Japan at least once in my lifetime.
The ring making experience was so wholesome and I love that they also have English speaking staff. What an awesome one of a kind Kyoto souvenir!!
Ushka is such a lovely person. The ring making segment was great!
Sharla, your videos are unrivalled!! Despite there being quite a few vloggers in Japan, yours are always so refreshing and unique. You have a lovely personality that really shines through the camera :) thank you for sharing with us!!
That’s really sweet of you, thank you😭
True. You can sense good vibes through the camera.
I came here to say exactly this.
love how you two go venturing around and stumble upon cute cat things!!
Surprise WFH day & Sharla content **double win**❤
Ooo WFH for the win - enjoy!
Kyoto is a place i really want to go to thanks for letting me live vicariously through your video 😊
14:06 Glad to see the stamp shop survived Covid as well. I have visited that shop every time I am in Kyoto since at least over 16 years ago. 🥺 I love that place.
Circular swirl stamp is a Japanese sea wave pattern... 😊
Ah so it is waves! Interesting :D
@@sharlainjapan Seigaiha pattern 😊
Nishiki Market is the bomb! The water in the sento there is extra hot, but totally great after a long hike.
The stamp that looks like stacked wifi symbols is a traditional design called seigaiha. They represent waves
Ushka and you in matching kitty kimonos! 😻❤️
That lemon ramen goes on _the list_ , thanks Sharla & Ushka. Lovely vlog, new and interesting ideas 🙇♂
When I went to Kyoto there was this delicious Mochi place that was next to the Imamiya-jinja shrine. You can watch the nice ladies cook the mochi in front of the store!
The serotonin boost I got from this video... Looks like you two had an AMAZING day! Take care (and good luck with the sewing in advance hehe)!
It's lovely to explore the little (by Japanese standards) towns and villages with the Shinkansen. There are endless little cute neighborhoods and hidden gems to explore all over Japan.
"Trying to resist..." Next scene -- wearing the cat kimonos 🤣🤣🤣
I tell you, the cut between appreciating the cat coat and both of you casually rocking two of them made me cackle!
So wonderful to see how much fun you guys had. It’s so nice to live vicariously through your adventures
I adored the happy coats 👘, the ring making 💍 (which I hope that Mr Affable likes). I also loved the neko 😻 incense burner. You got a great haul there Sharla 👏 🫶
Transition from 3:22ish to 3:25 was perfect. Just you two commenting on resisting the kimono, I guess, and then next scene to you wearing them without an explanation needed. And I have to look online for these for my kids.
Philly representation in Kyoto let's gooooooooo!!
Yessss a new video! Thank you!
The "trying to resist" to you wearing them was a hilarious edit. 😂
yea another sharla/Ushka vlog!! 😁👍🇯🇵🇨🇦🇳🇿
The ring making looked so fun!
Thank you for always bringing us along on your adventures always love seeing the different places of japan and its food and culture ☺️
Thank you so much for a wonderful video ❤ the kimonos and the stamp shop are so cool!
I've loved your videos for years. Can't wait to see where your future adventures take you!
I love this and I love all the things you bought! 😊 so much fun!
Thanks for another new video❤. I'm pumped! I love putting on makeup and watching a new video from you😊
Ahhh I love Kyoto. And stamp books are honestly a great incentive to travel and stop by different places!
OMG loving the weekly uploads😍
I leave for Japan on Friday and can’t wait to check out some of these places❤
I love watching the two of you on your various adventures!
Ohhh so much in Kyoto I did not know about! Thank you for sharing!
The Editing and almost every shot was perfect, I really liked all the recommendations you gave! I cant wait to visit Japan
Love Kyoto. Went to Japan back in 2016 and 2018 and we stayed in Kyoto for 11 days both times. Such a beautiful place, everything just felt so laid back when compared to Tokyo. We stayed about a 15 minute walk from the centre to our apartment so it was a nice walk into the main centre. We also went along the Philosopher's path. Wasn't expecting it to be that long and we already had a good walk to get to it, so we were tired afterwards, although the British pub on the way home helped 😂 We went during the start of the Cherry Blossoms and the one apartment we had the first year overlooked a river/stream that had them all along. Had an amazing view.
You two do (and buy) the coolest things! Love it all. ❤
Great haul! 🌻
Amazing stuff!
Thanks you two for sharing Kyoto, one of my favorite place to visit. Walking the Philosopher's Path is on my list to do as well as trying every matcha tea, and matcha-flavored ice creams.
This was such a nice video. Such good humour and cool things to do
I had such a wonderful time with you two on this video. Thank you.
Another good quote from DM:
And I will go down on my knees
When I see beauty
There's no doubt
I'm one of the devout
Ahhhh I can't wait to go back to Kyoto next year! It's such a beautiful city.
I love you and Ushka vlogs, I feel like I’m on a shopping break with you both. The building and scenery is so stunning there, I’d love to go so much! The ring making is something so special to do, a lovely souvenir from a visit there
Watching your videos makes me want to visit Japan so badly, hopefully sometime in the future! I’ll continue to live vicariously through your vlogs for now though :.)
I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Japan.
There are many wonderful places in Japan, so please come again.
The sunset… just wow.
Loved following you on your adventure. So cool! Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊
Oh cool, I just bought a couple of your stamp books for my upcoming trip 1 min into the vid! Looking forward to the rest of the video.
Loving all the frequent uploads 😭😭 ❤❤
Get that ad revenue tho.🎉
Loved the video sharla :)
wow such a cool video and i loved watching you two make the rings its such a cool thing to do
Saving this for our travels in the new year! Thanks for sharing!❤
I love this vlog so calming after work 💗
*trying really hard to resist the cat robe* - I see you couldn't resist for long! It looks lovely!
I seriously love your videos. The rings you made are absolutely gorgeous 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Great Kyoto guide.
Thanks for the lovely vlog. I stayed in an Airbnb just round the corner from Nishiki market a few years ago, it was nice to have a trip down memory lane. I can't wait to revisit one day
I loved this vlog. The kimono 👘 winning you both over made me giggle
I've done the Philosophers Path three times, lovely walk. Thanks for the heads up with the ring place, I've made a note of that.
❤❤❤ Kyoto. Even the station is fabulous. Nishiki market 🥰
Thank you for taking us with you.
I love all of this! Kyoto is another place I definitely need to revisit 😊
I ❤ the videos of you and Ushka on adventures together!! We need more of these types of "paw-some" videos!!
This video was just amazing. Very good vibes. The images were stunning. I feel like the visual quality of your videos has increased. I just can't wait to see what's next!
that cut 😂 "trying hard to resist.....so *I bought them all!!!!"*
I loved the vlog and all the pretty skies~!! Plus all the amazing cat stuff!! ♡ ♡ ♡
I love those travel stamps, they are so charming.
I think this is one of my favorite videos from you Sharla!❤️ I love seeing all the food recommendations and all the little things you bought. Cracked me up when you were looking at the kimono and trying to convince yourself not to buy it then wear it in the next scene. You made the cutest face when you were trying the matcha gelato haha 😊 Can’t wait for the next video!
this may be my favorite video kyoto looks fun 🤩
I'll be travelling to Japan in January of next year for the first time and will be visiting Kyoto so this was perfect! Will definitely be checking out some of the places you showed us. 動画を作ってくれてありがとう!♥🥰
Great vlog. Easy to understand, etc. Purchased a stamp book, too!
*Trying to resist*
Next shot is Sharla wearing the Coat. That gave me a chuckle.
You ladies are lovely! Thank you.
Lovely vlog, beautiful things
What a lovely video from start to finish. I'm always happy when Ushka is along for the video
Fun trip!
I love when you two hang out. It’s like a shopping girls trip!
Been a while since I visited Kyoto. Just got back from my first trip to Hokkaido which was a blast so I might hit Kyoto next trip.
Honestly love you and ushkas friendship thanks for sharing something so special.
Jealous of all those gorgeous souvenirs and yummy food! Thanks for sharing your adevnture!
Omg Sharla this made me so nostalgic! I went to Japan for the first time in May and when we went to Kyoto we went to Ginkakuji and the Philosopher's Path and ate at that same restaurant! The sandwiches were so good!
Love seeing Kyoto
