The effort the Japanese farmers put into growing the many varieties of strawberries you featured is what produces outstanding results that most others don't have the commitment to duplicate. Great video 😊
Shizuka Japan has so many wonderful destinations and their attention to quality and detail is amazing. Thank you for bringing us these peeks into a wonderful country and culture.
Absolutely love strawberries with brown sugar. All you can pick and eat, bad news for them. Yum Yum banana and chocolate tart. Such a yummy video and Outstanding Job.
Wow, I never knew strawberries have different type of flavors. But I really want to try the sakura strawberry when I go to Japan; it looks so scrumptious! Thank you for the video Shizuka!
I always wanted to try strawberries picking during the season, unfortunately, my timing is always bad and never arrived during strawberries season. I heard so much praises on how great the strawberries are in Japan! 🥰.
When i was in Japan last year, I splurged on a pkg of strawberries. I had heard from others that it is nothing like what we have in Canada. The price for 6 strawberries seemed steep but was worth every ¥. It was not like anything i had ever had. I think about those strawberries often. I look forward to returning to Japan and experiencing that again 🥰
One of our market chains offers the white strawberry's but they are passed by consumers due to the color. I have tried them and found them to be sweeter than the reds. Try another world, you may really like it.
fruits in Japan... fresh. gigantic size... and tasty.. BUT so expensive... they definitely know how to prep, grow and market their fruits industry.. strawberries, watermelon, apples
May I know if there is a train station or bus stop near the farm? I’m travelling from Shinagawa Seaside Station next month. Do I need to make a reservation or just walk in? Thank u in advance.
Some 23 years ago, among my "gang" of weekend merry-makers in Melbourne, I was the preferred strawberry picker when we were in the farm. My picks were always sweet. I had to pick so many then (5kg per couple), I seldom eat strawberries these days. Trauma. Lol.
We tried white strawberries from Tsukiji Market and they didn't taste good at all 😢 it was probably because it was November and it wasn't the best season to try them. Will definitely go to this strawberry picking farm next time ❤️🍓
In this episode Shizuka curses in ENGLISH, claims some strawberries are made of water and gorges herself on gigantic albino strawberries which she claims taste more like peaches and ends by showing us some flaky old tarts!
Literally just as I needed some positive vibes, Shizuka shows up.
At your service!
Shizuka is my favorite ☺️ and those luscious strawberries are bursting with refreshing sweetness, what a delight 🍓

I'm curious about that white strawberry! The taste being a mix of strawberry and peach.. I need to try that!
You must try when you get a chance! And let us know how you like it?

Thank you 😋
The white strawberry tickles my curiousity, it's the first time that I've ever seen one.

Always a good idea to step outside of one's comfort zone!

Yep, fruit in Japan is generally quite expensive but there are good deals you can find around the city, especially at a local farmer's shop:)
Hello Japan By Food. Hello Shizuka Anderson. I'm a straaaaaawberry!!! 😊

OMG even with strawberry 🍓 picking Japanese pay attention to all the detail
Wow, let them export it to Australia and NZ! BTW, we like to see Shizuka reporting Japan's high-tech man-made meat factory if poss. Thank you!
Uuuuh, thank you for an idea!

Oh noooo! Please give strawberries a chance again!
Another place to visit now in Tokyo :D
Please do!
How do i book this experience?
In America they call the white strawberry a pine berry, tastes like a cross between a strawberry and pineapple 🤙🏼💚🏵️
Very cool! We love the pine berries!
We tried white strawberries from Tsukiji Market and they didn't taste good at all 😢 it was probably because it was November and it wasn't the best season to try them. Will definitely go to this strawberry picking farm next time ❤️🍓

Yep, one of them is!
いちごしずか🍓🍓🍓
おっしゃる通りですね。
Every year we go strawberry picking on Long Island with the kids now with their kids.
Must be super fun:)
I just bought some in California, very expensive. $18.99 red $27.99 for the blush. I had to try them! Well they’re good but not worth the expense.
they're like $5 in Japan for like a dozen.
:O
@@PWCDN
This was for 8 or 9 strawberries per pkg.
You’ve come a long way since singing with the kids!
Thank you! I still sing with kids hahaha
Hello SA!
You are a very fortunate young woman! My mother was born in Fukuoka, I have been fortunate to have been to Japan twice :-) Cheers!
I had strawberries when I visited Fukuoka, it was the absolute best and super affordable.
Please come again!
I'm pretty sure the white one is what's called a pineberry in the states.
Cool!
If there is a vending machine for everything. Then you guys got to do a adult beverage episode.
