Jack White performing Seven Nation Army from White Stripes album 'Elephant' live at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend 2012. Playlist: • Jack White @ Radio 1's...
There's another concert of Dark Tranquility (melodic death metal), where the crowd is also just having a blast, no smartphones or anything. It makes live performances so much better.
@@commonavionics6069 I disagree, she just had a simple approach to it and that's what made part of The White Stripes unique raw sound. Love this version and drum style on this too though, real monster tune..
Ok this is actually really cool with all those instruments. It’s haunting and it’s awesome cuz jack nailed everything on the guitar and on the mic. It gives me chills and can’t even describe it.
One problem there aren't any. Seriously meg rushing and just screwing with the tempo is what made seven nation army special in concert however still fantastic just lacking a bit of chaos
A lot of people mistakenly think "Seven Nation Army" is played on a bass. And rightfully so. It's a cool fact that Jack White uses his electric guitar with a pedal that lowers the guitar by an octave or so. It's nice to see this played live.
i just can't get enough of drummer. every time a watch a live video with him i am amazed by what he can do. he does his thing with the white stripes' songs but still with respect for what meg did with the white stripes
Okay, amazing live performance. Way better than anything jack did with meg. Still...not art the way it was with meg. The messiness, the stopping and starting, the chaos. This is awesome, Led Zeppelin awesome. Meg and jack playing this were Dali or Picasso.
I watched this to heal myself from the halftime show with Shakira and it saved my brain cells. This is an amazing performance and the best type of rock crowd ever I mean NO PHONES Jesus thats incredible I love it.
It's really interesting to see just how that expanded band handles a song written for only 2 people. It's a really good song for a cover, but no version will ever be as good as the original WS version.
"Сколько раз здесь был,было намного лучше. А сейчас как то не удалось" (c) Как всегда все хорошо. Но мне почему то старые записи концертов этой песни больше доставляют. Толи потому что тогда ещё были "White Stripes", толи потому что народ не так сильно орал,и гитара слышалась лучше.
Jeez, that's stadium rock ... I have to think of How you got started sitting in your little room (little room - that was one of your best songs, Jack.)
E incrivel como o jack white evoluiu como musico desde que inicio sua carreira solo, basicamente seu trabalho ja era incrivel e agora esta espetacular \m/ !!!!
Do you want to know why this crowd was so awesome? There were a lot of Italians in it, and this was the 'soundtrack' of the 2006 world championship. Lol, you can recognize that by the PO POROPOPO PO
Will Harvey Mostly live, except icky thump, he tries to play multiple instruments at once (which is a problem given he only has 2 hands) and I'm not convinced he knows the words.
For all of those that knocked Meg's drumming saying that Jack needs a bass player and a decent drummer,,,,,,,well this is now lost in big production shite. He's still very talented but without Meg the Rhythm and Swing has dissapeared
Mr. Deadpool The crowd isn’t even good. If you want to hear a good chant to this song. Watch the champions league final 2018 opening. IT WAS CRAZY LOUD!!!
why is everybody bitching bout he sound?its a S.N.A. song, composed with just a drummer/guitarist combo.it is supposed to be loud and brash, not all music is supposed to sound like over processed studio crap 15 layers deep.if you want the bassist, drummer and everything but the front man hidden in the back ground go back ground.alot of people buy live recordings just for that reason.a 2 piece group(SNA)defies what music is "supposed" to sound like.sound is dead on.16 track/64 bit cds are 4 walmart.
This is the crowd I want to see in rock concerts, no cameras, phones and shit. Just living with the moment and the music.
That's because Jack asked them to put the phone away.
ACDC concerts are exactly like that
There's another concert of Dark Tranquility (melodic death metal), where the crowd is also just having a blast, no smartphones or anything. It makes live performances so much better.
Honestly I don't get what's wrong with phones and cameras, it's a hell of an experience to be there, and they wanna remember it
EvinKieransMusic it's recorded for them, they don't need their phones.
Finally got a bass player in his band and still playes the guitar with an octave drop effect :P
Legalize It He is playing in open A. No drop effect.
He is obviosly using an octave drop dude. Doesn't matter what tuning he is in, he definitely uses a whammy pedal or something to have an octave drop.
Legalize It that explains the sexy guitar tone
Agree! Really fuckn sexy!
Legalize It I'm pretty sure that that's not the band.... I think it's just him and a girl. he must be playing with another group
I've always noticed a bit of Cobain in Jack's performance and vocal style, and he's got the perfect amount of it. Not too much and not lifeless.
That's what a real artist looks and sounds like
And this is what a real closed minded person looks and sounds like
@@williandalsoto806 ?????
@@matteofrancsico5341 !!!!!
@@williandalsoto806 why a real closed minded person?
@@matteofrancsico5341 "real artist" and shit. you can like stuff and not put a entire industry down.
man i wish i were there
+Angela Low I know right, the crowd was awesome doing the chant, unlike most concerts in america.
Same, except I was 6 and I live in America
LOVE.....just love this song... truly the WILLIE WONKA OF MUSIC ...
Meg was the perfect drummer for Jack during the white stripes, but come on, this drummer is pretty awesome now!
Cool
Meg is a awful drummer
@@commonavionics6069 I disagree, she just had a simple approach to it and that's what made part of The White Stripes unique raw sound. Love this version and drum style on this too though, real monster tune..
Steve Killingback Music they aren’t unique they are shit.
Let's see you play better.

It just goes to show. Seven nation Army has probably one of the greatest riffs in rock music!! God bless the White Stripes. and God bless blues rock!!
he absolutely nailed it !!... I was there, the place went nuts!
This is the best guitar riff of all time
I agree
+Jukka Jääskelainen ummm no
maybe not the best but its still fucking great because jack white created it
Easily
Definitely the best of 21st century
4:10 jack had to tell drummer to start so they could keep tempo
man crush level jack white
Omg that's the best crowd ever
Rest in peace, Ikey Owens.
VlogUntilDawn He'd still be alive if it wasn't for drugs
The song goes soooo well with the chant of the audience. What an awesome live performance!
Wow, I saw Jack White with this line up in 2014 and they were incredible...Daru Jones on the drums was the their secret weapon...
This is what i call a great performance!!!!
A lot of people mistakenly think "Seven Nation Army" is played on a bass. And rightfully so. It's a cool fact that Jack White uses his electric guitar with a pedal that lowers the guitar by an octave or so. It's nice to see this played live.
5:04 absolutely rocks the socks off that crowd and just walks off like a walk off grand slam
Awesome atmosphere ...Jack White is one seriously talented guy !!!
So fkn intense!!!I'm so in love Jack White he is one of my biggest heroes ever
From a true musical icon
The chanting, oh my goodness
finally a bass. OMG what happened?
There's a bass but Jack still plays the bass part on his guitar so what's the point.
+Sean Patrick Abarico sounds more full
Ralph Green I see. Thnx
leaving bass out of any song especially live makes it sound super empty and like it packs less of a punch
I honestly dont think he needs the bass. His tone on that archtop is insane.
i just can't get enough of drummer. every time a watch a live video with him i am amazed by what he can do. he does his thing with the white stripes' songs but still with respect for what meg did with the white stripes
I never thought anything else could be done with that riff - until now. That alternate rythym (in the second verse) refreshes it completely. Awesome
This is the best concert version of seven nation army so far
I’ve never seen a clip of Jack White where he wasn’t giving 300%.
He can only give 💯 percent. Your math is incorrect.
This gave me chills!!!
Okay, amazing live performance. Way better than anything jack did with meg. Still...not art the way it was with meg. The messiness, the stopping and starting, the chaos. This is awesome, Led Zeppelin awesome. Meg and jack playing this were Dali or Picasso.
This may probably be one of the best "Seven Nation Army" performances ever
Jack is a brilliant musican, and also his band ....... is soooo good to hear real music in a time where music dies ......
I can't be the only one who thinks he looks like a Tim Burton character
Been looking for a live version this is hounestly the best one 🤘🏼
AMAZING video AMERICA N. Show them POWER
I was there 2 rows back from front
Better than the stripes version live :)
thats the best song the world:D
Man oh man Jack is gifted
Amazing performance. Well done to the crowd.
A BASS!!!! YES!
I watched this to heal myself from the halftime show with Shakira and it saved my brain cells. This is an amazing performance and the best type of rock crowd ever I mean NO PHONES Jesus thats incredible I love it.
is this the best songs ever made? yes
Such a great artist. And a great night. Thanks for the vid
Not a phone in site love it
best live live seen of this
I really like this fast version. OMFG
It's really interesting to see just how that expanded band handles a song written for only 2 people. It's a really good song for a cover, but no version will ever be as good as the original WS version.
Finally!!!!!! A bass in 7 nation army!!
This song is a monster!
THAT DRUMMER IS FUCKING GREAT
As a guitar player, still I can't believe this heavy sound is guitar sound.

damn it sounds METAL as fuck with the bass included!🤘🖤
Thank you for these, biffythecat1! It's much appreciated.
Jack reminds me of Sean Schemmel in this video.
AND THIS... IS... TO GO... EVEN... FURTHER... BEYOND!
Spotted a blink fan in the crowd.:D
Lollapalooza Chile 2015 is going to be fucking epic!!
1:02 looks like ed sheeran lol

@@monoo6547 dude that's thousands of people in a stadium. It's great but come on this is awesome.
Hands up who is tempted to actually ring this number...
How dare they put jack white. The White Stripes!! Even though she's not there, have some respect for a song they created together
Tina Jack always wrote the music for the White Stripes, Meg didn’t write anything.
Because he is Jack White.
