That reissue Guv’nor sounds amazing! I purchased the drivemaster over the now widely sold out guv’nor without thinking. I really enjoy the drivemaster regardless so I may just keep it and purchase the guv’nor anyways! Cheers

exactly the same circuit in a different box and no loop..you're missing nothing.

@@1madaxeman ive heard a few good sources AB them and differences are from subtle to noticable difference in character. One assumption is that the fx loop IS a change the circuit, so can effect the tone to some degree. But you could always add or bypass that.

I bought the Shredmaster reissue a few months ago, I like the Plexi sound but usually I hate sounds with too much high frequencies, however the Shredmaster is definetely too dark even for my taste! Buy one of these two, don’t make the same mistake

I’m between guvnor and shredmaster!! I am looking for a hot rodded plexi sound..guvnor is my first option however in UA-cam shred master sounds beauty with low gain and high mids (almost like a really plexi with strats..)

it depends on what you look for : with a big good pedalboard : not useful
to have some more for an amp : treble boost, tube treble boost, ts9 (I don 't like that), booster, etc.
for me I don't need these pedals or maybe just one but I have some pedals to sound Marshall so ?
