      I've tried the Bandit on a friend's bike before, and would absolutely love to ride the Edge on mine. Hopefully Intend has some ambassador openings next year... 👀

    What's the extra sprocket above the chainring for?

    • @DaleStone
      @DaleStone  Рік тому +2

      That's called an idler! I'll be making a full video about it eventually, but basically it separates the drivetrain from the suspension and makes it descend really, really well.

    The build is so rad! Yeah I'm with the comments and would love to get a full bike check when you got things locked in. Also, those Trinity brakes look pristine! How'd you get your hands on those when they sold out in like 35 seconds haha

    I've been drooling over this for a while. The only thing stopping me is the fact that they don't have a mullet option. I love mullet set ups and never quite got use to 29'ers. With that said, would you know if it's possible to go mullet on this?

    • @DaleStone
      @DaleStone  Рік тому +2

      New 29ers are far better than those of even 5-6 years ago if you haven't tried one recently! Currently there is no mullet option for sale for the Claymore, but I can pass along the feedback for sure. 👀

      I think read a PB comment that they have a project in the works and they hinted it’s a mullet

    Would you ever try wireless shifting and dropper or are they not worth the money?

    • @DaleStone
      @DaleStone  Рік тому +1

      I would absolutely try both, though SRAM T-Type shifts atrociously slowly on trail, so it would have to be another system.

    Was your riding buddy also on a Deviate? A local youtube guy in my area in the North East just picked a claymore up because it was so unique, he put out some really glowing reviews on it. I would be interested to hear what you have to say about it.

    How does it compare to the range

    • @DaleStone
      @DaleStone  Рік тому +1

      Over 10% lighter, way more playful and much better climbing. The Range might have a slight edge on World Cup DH tracks with a dual crown, but for everything else (including Enduro racing), I'd pick the Claymore every time. It's just simply more fun. 🙂
